Flat Step stair gate offers a new safety level in U-Pressure gates. Standard baby gates would offer a 3cm threshold, when Flat Step gate is safer to walk through with its thin step over bar to avoid trip hazard especially at the top of the stairs. Open it easily by lifting the handle and close it with a simple press down movement thanks to the close-assist system. You can check that the gate is safely closed by looking at the Secure Tech® indicator. This baby gate opens in both directions and features a “keep open” system for when the kids aren't around. It is suitable for openings between 73cm and 80cm and can be extended up to 101cm with separately available extensions. - Навчання та стиль

Very easy to install. Good! I will be attempting to install another brand of doggy/kitty door because this includes a special small gate for cats. Maybe whatever knowledge I can pick up re. installation here will help me with that. Good video and good presentation!
What happens if the door was open /latch was cut early? Does it mean you can't use it
Hi! A need that for a space with 166cm. Is it possible use one extension one side and two extensions in another side?

How strong is the glue?
I need to fit this to a railing. I read its not possible to use the Y attachments? Does anyone have experience of finding ones that fitted into the gate so it could be attached to a railing on one or both sides?

Hi thanks! We have just recieved this product from Argos but it is missing the spiker washer circles for the top sections. Due to covid 19 their are restrictions with returns so we are stuck with a useless stair gate! Can these be ordered separately? Thank you

Mine was the same , you can buy 4 washers they only cost 50p or so and an Allen key to tighten them
You can get these in most hard wear shops ,take the long screw and get one that fits. Hope this helps

note this is an old model and not representitive of the cheap shoddy crap they peddle out today ,now comes with a fiddly sticky awkward closing mechanism that takes two strong hands to use and has no clear method of closing , it just works sometimes but mostly it wont so you have to just use the flimsy manual plastic tabs at the bottom. avoid!
