Been playing and singing this song to my daughter since she was born. She 3 and doesn’t like most bands, but loves Manchester. i think it’s Andy’s voice that pulls her in.
Andy Hull is the most under-appreciated artist in the world. If you haven't checked out any of his other bands or solo performances definitely do so 👌

How are they so consistently amazing?! This whole album is perfect!
Song after song, I am falling in love with Manchester Orchestra even more. "I Know How To Speak" had a backstory of Andy Hull's newborn son and now in this song, we see him bonding with his son, dedicating yet another song to him (I guess that's the same son because I don't know the timelines of the songs). I just feel so wholesome and peaceful when I see fathers bonding with their child, especially when it's a toddler or infant.
Why is this song so short, I feel weird replaying it over and over 😭😂

The way The Alien segues into this, which then segues into The Grocery, is possibly my favourite moment in any album ever.
My son just turned a year old this month. Songs and videos like this have never hit me so hard. So beautiful to stop and notice how much we mean to them instead of how much they mean to us.

I met the Guys live in Tampa and it was a 21 and up show. My 2 kiddos couldn't come unfortunately. So the guys signed the album to them.

Andy Hull is genuinely the nicest member of a band that I’ve ever met. He was bombarded with requests to shake his hand, and kept on saying he had to go but still met with every person who said hi. It’s always great when your favorite musicians turn out to be genuinely good people
