haha we all watched Soul Survivors because it had Eliza Dushku being Faith, i completely agree. To this day it still doesn't make sense but it's a trip!
There’s just something charming about it!
Tubi and UA-cam are great for Found Footage/Mockumentary Horror movies.
I LOVED Horror in the High Desert 2! I think the first one was better, but this was just as unnerving and frightening.
Dead Man’s Curve is SO underrated. I loved it and I loved Matthew Lillard in it
Agreed!
Girl, you're too cute! I laughed out loud when you said that the movie made you scream. Truly, I never heard any screaming at a horror movie since I was a teen back in the 80s. I don't hear about people scream out loud today, so that's why I burst out laughing. Please note that I love your videos and you do a great job. Keep up the good work.
so happy to see someone talk about Horror in the High Dessert! this is the 3rd video of yours i have seen and you mentioned both. i saw them back to back and loved them. found footage can be so hit and miss to the extremes and those are both so damned good. i have subscribed and liked
I love found footage movies, I'm gonna have to check all of them out.
Oohhh great video! I have added these to my list! ❤
Thank you for so many found footage recs! It’s my fav sub genre and I haven’t seen any of the ones on your list
Glad I could recommend some you haven’t seen!
Haven't heard of most of these, but "Frankenstein Theory" and "Lexi" grabbed my attention so I'm gonna give those a look since your recommendations are usually pretty good. Thanks Mandy!
Enjoy!
Great list, thank you, liked and subbed.
Thanks for the recommendations Mandy found these on tubi also can't wait to see the new Evil Dead
Tubi is an excellent free streaming apps!!! One of my favs. Thank you for bringing awareness to the app for people who don't yet know about it.😊😊😊
Perfect timing, I have been so frustrated with Tubi lately, I haven't been able to find anything i want to watch. But several of these sounds great, especially the folk horror one. I love folk horror!
I am planning to do another Tubi rec guide - I looove finding fun hidden gems on there!
@@mandysmorgueofhorror That's awesome, thank you for finding these movies for us! I'm gonna watch "Inner Demons" right now.
Good selection! Great end in " Inner Demons " seem a Shakespeare`s drama...
I'll be checking out Crone Wood for sure (I'm half Irish and love folk horror), Harbinger, Inner Demon & Black Bird. Thanks for the recs! Loved HITHD2: Minerva, it felt almost like a connected FF anthology done better than most of the v/h/s flicks. Great use of tension throughout!
Bought Evil Dead Rise day one, didn't regret the blind buy at all. So much fun.
I think you’ll love Crone Wood!
@@mandysmorgueofhorror Yep, that was great! Twisty and plenty of creepy vibes. Very Wicker Man-inspired like you said.
That's a problem, if your half Irish then that blood would beat the shit out of the other blood, unless its Scottish, then you would be crazy, like me.
😂
Thank you for doing this.
Thank for the recommendations
Space horror is my jam. I loved Apollo 18. I'm also peepin' that resident evil shirt. 😀
It’s from Graveyard Goods!
I love found footage and you listed a couple I haven't seen yet, but they're in my queue now! Off-topic question. What mic do you use, 'cause your audio is so clear?
Soul Survivors is a remake of Carnival of Souls....it would be hard to beat the original for weird and it is on Tubi too.
Thank you - thank you - thank you!!!
Gonna give some of these a try this weekend.....I will return 😅
I loved The Harbinger. That movie stuck with me for a bit.
Good video
love the shirt!
Thanks!
@@mandysmorgueofhorror also have not seen any of these recommendations so thanks for the video!
I've watched *Apollo 18*
It was a very bad experience. There can't be life of the Moon. Even if there is, they won't prey on humans.
As far as my experience with the genre tells me, women rarely die in found footage movies. Gary Hinge, or whatever his name was, died in *Horror in the High Desert*
But I'm sure the female lead survives in the sequel.
We need a room tour omgggggggg
My room is a mess 😂
Apollo 18 was pretty sweet but im kinda biased towards found footage. Inner Demons was pretty good too
I am too!
@@mandysmorgueofhorror there are so many though that it can be hard to find the good ones. The first found footage movie i saw was V/H/S and i got pretty obsessed from there.
Have you seen, "The Taking of Deborah Logan", or "Lake Mungo"?
@@scott3084 I've seen both, i prefer the taking of deborah logan but it was kind of cool how in lake mungo that the picture was a fake done by the son
@@dylanball6851 Same. DL was such a cool take on possession. I also liked The Possession of Michael King. Most reviewers disparage the possession/supernatural genre but I'm a huge fan.
I saw an add for a Friday the 13th prequel series that's coming to Peacock. Have you heard about it?
I’ve heard about it and I’m intrigued!
Somewhat embarrassed to say I really enjoyed Soul Survivors. Much younger when I watched it, but the twist actually surprised me.
A lot of people enjoy it! I don’t hate it, either.
@@mandysmorgueofhorror It is what it is as far as story quality, but the atmosphere is great. It has autumnal vibes with the foliage, school setting, pumpkins throughout the town, and it actually has its climax on Halloween, based on the trick or treaters. Understated but its there. Thanks for not hating my guilty pleasure and Thanks for all your reviews!
What movie did you talk about with Matthew Lillard?
The Curve!
I recommend the series: BATES MOTEL
I loooove Bates Motel!
@@mandysmorgueofhorror me too… saw it twice
Did you mean to put the review for Evil Dead Rise and Black Bird on another list? Tubi wouldn't have these titles.
Yeah I mean this is more of a wrap up with 9 movies on Tubi and a few that weren’t (including Evil Dead Rise and Black Bird). Sorry for the confusion!
💀🛡️⚔️
Does she think the moon landing happened in 1972? lmao
Lol someone pointed this out to me and I’m cracking up over my mistake. Hey, I never said I was a history buff 🤣🤷♀️
?
Dude, the first moon landing was in 1969.
LOL I didn’t say I was a history buff 😂 Also, I questioned myself when I was editing but forgot to verify 💀
@@mandysmorgueofhorror I love your channel so much so i don't really mind, plus as you can see i heard every word, i pay attention.
@@dragongeraldb well, thank you! I really appreciate it!
