Value add! Skip the paper instructions - watch this video!
Thanks so much 😀
3 years later still working very well
PS... don't forget to read the safety warnings
Thank you..,. My husband recently passed away and now I have to handle things.. !!! I would not have figured this out without the video!
God Bless Us Both
I just bought the 5 amp mower Worx because of this video.....love it. I can mow a 1/4 acre on one charge. The height adjustment so easy for us older dudes. No oil, no fuel, no hassle of pulling that string. Thank you Worx. Disable veteran approved.
Thank you my friend, I hope you enjoy yours as much as I like mine, Thanks for watching👍 I appreciate your comment🇺🇸
I'm a new homeowner who feels daunted by cutting my own lawn, but your video definitely helped me get started! Thank you for the clear instructions on assembly. Your pool looks nice!
Thank you very much, it's great to hear that the video was helpful. I've had my mower for three years now very little to no trouble at all. Batteries are still strong blade still sharp. It's almost time to open up the pool again warm weather is right around the corner thank you so much for taking the time to watch and leave a thoughtful message.
Thanks for putting this video together! I sometimes find it hard to follow the paper instructions and really appreciate a hands-on demo. Cheers!
Thank you, l am now a single woman and have no mechanical skills but with this video l put it together!
Bought my WORX 4v MAX today...my yard looks fabulous now. Watched your fabulous demo and helped me to purchase. Purchased earlier a WORX WEEDEATER/EDGER and doing great so far. Took my blood pressure this evening and was lowest it's ever been... great workout and health benefits 💜 Waynesville NC 🇺🇸 Veteran
I have to agree I love my Worx 40 volt max lawnmower, I've recently purchased The 13 in string line trimmer as well as a leaf blower, I uploaded a video about those recently. Thank you so much for watching I appreciate your comment. Hope you have a beautiful weekend.🌸

This is the video I’ve been looking for.
I found the written instructions to be horrible.
I like to watch videos for instruction assembly and most videos just review how well the lawnmower works.
It’s hard to find a video like yours where they practically show step by step instructions on assembly right out the box.
Thank you so much!
This video helped me a great deal. 😊
Thank you SO much for this amazing video. I was able to put this lawn mower together by myself, with the exception of my 4 year old granddaughter! All because of this fantastic video. Again THANK YOU! And I love love love my Worx lawn mower. I even order all the other yard tools and car vac!!! GREAT products and I love that I can use all the charges with each equipment!!! I am one happy camper!!!
Glad it helped! Thanks for watching👍
Thank you so much from a petite woman that never assembled a lawn mower. I’m going to try it, now. You are an excellent teacher I will be looking for your videos now.
Thank you , I really appreciate that. the mower is still doing a great job, I also picked up the line trimmer and leaf blower last month I wasn't sure if I should make a video of them , maybe I should. Thanks for watching, I appreciate your comment. Have a great weekend 👍
As a "senior" do -it -yourselfer, I really appreciate these videos - had it together in 10 minutes. A great replacement for the heavier gas mower to supplement in those smaller areas the rider can't reach. Love it!
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for watching and commenting👍
I got this lawnmower today and I followed your brilliant assembly directions so clear, it was up and ready within minutes Thank you
Thanks, John. I just got one for myself and you made my life easier.
Great to hear!
Just got this today. I'm so excited to use it in my building as I'm a cartaker for my building. I wanna keep a beautiful lawn. Luckily, it's a small area. Seems like a really good lawn mower. Thanks for taking the time to assemble and show us how good it is.
Can definitely see the difference it made on the cut grass. The full bag indicator is handy. Nice review
Thanks 👍
Awesome video!! As a single mom this will really help me put it together when it arrives on Monday. I'm so excited to no longer have to pay a yard man. Thanks again for this amazing step by step video!!😊
Same, I just got mine along with the edger/trimmer and blower. Love it! And it's so cute😄
You are most welcome, I appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment
I didn’t want to read the booklet for assembly and you made it so easy! Thanks for a great video and review. You saved me so much aggravation.
You're very welcome! It's great to know that you enjoyed the video. Thank you for watching ~ John
Great video. I watched this video instead of reading the instructions on how to set up (just attaching the handles & clipping bag handle) incredibly easy to follow along. Probably saved me 15+ minutes just following along as you put it together and did the same thing. I have had the line trimmer and leaf blower for at least 5 years and both still work great and the initial set of two 4 amp batteries are still going strong. Now I have 4 interchangeable batteries to use with all my worx gear (with the two I just got for the mower + two I already had). Thrilled!
I just saw this mower advertised on tv tonight. I’d never heard of it before. I really like it. My gas mower doesn’t get used enough and the last time I tried to start it up it wouldn’t stay going. I’ve been considering a battery-powered mower and this looks like a really good choice! Thanks for the review!!
It's a great little mower if you have a small property. It has plenty of power and cuts very clean. We just got their string line trimmer and leaf blower, we will be there doing a video on those soon. Thank you very much for watching and taking the time to comment.👍
Thank you for this subscribed. I am older than you I would have to use a chair or something to build it as I couldn't be on my knees perching like that. Loved your video.
I just got mine yesterday and started to read the booklet but then got the idea to look at your video. Your video trumps the booklet! I’m ready to put it together now. Thank you so much.
Thank you!!!! I was searching to find out how to put the grassbox on! Great video and I am very appreciative you made this :)
You're welcome, I'm glad you found the video helpful. I will be making a video about a string line trimmer and leaf blower in the near future, please stay tuned. I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment.👍
Hey thanks JCharles... great video. Now to unbox and assemble!
I hope everything worked well, Thanks for watching👍
Just rec'd and allowed your great video to assist me with assembly. Super job and super video! New subbie starting today. Thank you so much!
Thank you very much and welcome. I appreciate you taking the time to leave such a nice comment ATvB. jc
Thanks Charles for the review bud, worx makes great durable equipment , two thumbs up for me, take care Charles 👍👍
John you made assembling it look easy. I much prefer these lawnmowers they're quieter and not nearly as intimidating (to me)as the heavy petrol mowers. Great video!
Honestly I was a bit skeptical especially when I first took it out of the box and felt how light it was but after testing the lawnmower it performed better than I had expected it to thank you so much for watching it’s always great to hear from you
Thank you, you saved me time trying to figure out how to assemble it
I don't have a backyard. But glad to see your review. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you I appreciate your comments
Thank you for this video, so much more helpful than the written instructions.
Greetings from the UK! This video was super helpful, thank you. I can never interpret the hieroglyphics in the instruction manual.
What a nice video, concise, precise and informative. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it! It's a great system three years of use and still going. Thanks for watching
Thank you for this very helpful and instructive video ( No Instruction manual came with mine as well as the mulcher, had I not watched your video, I'd be none the wiser). Watched it to put together my Worx.
Thanks for watching and commenting
Great unboxing and review, John Charles
Looks like a nice unit. Cordless mowers are great. Looks pretty easy to out together. Did a great job on your yard. Like the indicator that the bag is full and how much charge you have left on the battery . Thanks for the review, John Charles.
Thanks , It looks like a toy , weighs practically nothing and cuts so clean and easily. I may never have gas in the tool shed again , at least not for the lawn mower ; )👍
saved me reading the manual, thanks
You're welcome! I hope you enjoy your new mower. I've had mine for over three years now, and no troubles I'm glad the video was helpful Thanks for watching
Electric motors are great I’ve been cutting my grass for the last 5 yrs with one 👍
I was a bit skeptical at first but I’m glad I gave it a try I’ll be keeping the mower I’ve gotten rid of all the cardboard to send it back with it worked much better than I had expected thank you so much for watching I always appreciate your comments we’re presently out camping I will catch up with you when I get back
If we had a small yard, I'd be all for a mower like this. But our yard is pretty good sized. We could seriously use a riding mower. This was a good unboxing, test and review video.
I don’t think this mower could handle my property upstate but it’s perfect for my little postage stamp lawn on Long Island
They do make electric zero turns. Where I live there is a landscaping crew that uses everything electric. It's amazing to see a zero turn that is silent
Sounds like it worked great! Big thumbs up from you... high praise! Great review! Thanks for sharing! 😊👍
Thank you Angela the mower reminds me of a toy that I had when I was a kid except for the sharp blade on the bottom it works very well we’re going to keep it thank you so much for watching I hope you have a beautiful day
Just ordered one, had their weed wacker edger combo (which is good), side note, I have one battery and when fully charged it will run for 20 - 25 min, and takes 1hr on the charger till full... Anyways, got this mower after watching your review and plan on getting the blower and hedge trimmer too so I have the whole family of worx products... my yard is a little bit bigger and split up into three sections plus I do my neighbors... but I assume if I could just get another set of batteries or so maybe it would be perfect for what I need it for.... I honestly just got tired of messing around with my gas one every season seems like the dang thing just doesn't want to start unless you pull it all apart and clean it, such a pain in the butt for a smaller yard... anyways got one of these and hopefully the rest of the family of products they offer soon... 😎✌️
Thanks a lot bud!super PRO video just ordered Worx 40v myself!
Glad it helped
Thanks so much for such detail and practical instruction from start to finish. Super helpful and save me a lot of time figuring things out.
thank you for your clear demonstration!
You are welcome!
Perfect for mowing all those weeds
Good job , None of the unecessary long intos whereby youtube "stars" show us their pretty faces for seemingly hours ...The "Arnt I cute" part of most you tube instuctional videos...
Your presentation is down to earth. Your video was well shot so I get a feel for what awaits me , My WG779 Is in my garage and ready to unbox and assemble. Your video has certainly added to the directions and relieved my wonder as to how it all fits together....so thanks.
Oh yea I am in positive envy of your strong knees, I wish I could pop up and down to the squatting position like you can. OK , of to the garage.
Great video! I was waiting around for someone else to assembly and this video allowed me to do it myself. Much appreciated.
Great demo, almost makes me want to mow the lawn 💕
Right, ALMOST. LOL
I just got ours today. A 70 year old woman here and the old yanking of the rope and turning the machine over to clear old grass just got to be too much. I pay someone to mow most 1/2 acre, but I do have a small fenced area for my dogs which I mow myself. I pray this works as well as John says. I have the worx blower and trimmer and I have had them for at least five years and they work like a dream! I haven't cut with the new mower yet, but I'm hoping it will be good. I am so sick of filling it with gas, checking the oil and fighting it. My arthritis just doesn't like that.
That's a cool mower and perfect for your backyard. No more gas mowers, right? You put it together pretty quick too. Hope you are well, hello to Sharon. Debbie - BluWave Odyssey
Im enjoying the new mower, it works great on my small lawn, We are having a great summer with the trailer, we just got home from the beach and are getting ready to camp the Hudson Valley next month. I appreciate your comment Have a great weekend 👍
Thank you so much for this video! Really helpful, with excellent detail. Very appreciative
Great video! Easy explanation and demonstrations! I appreciate it!
This was great! I just got me one. Thanks for the unboxing. Now I know what to do the instructions was like blah but I do love Worxs products.
You're welcome!! Thanks for watching stay tune for more works battery operated tools I appreciate you taking the time to comment.👍
Oooo very nice! Love buying new toys like this
Hi thanks so much for watching it’s a fun little machine it should make my life a little bit easier not having to start the gasoline engine on my old mower I appreciate your comment
I just bought one of these, I can't believe how easy it was to mow the lawn, I'll never buy a gas one again
Worx the best 👍
Thanks for watching 👍
Just got the 17 inch version of this mower. To me it looks/feels almost like a kid’s toy mower but it works very well. Now I’m thinking my yard’s too small for the larger gas mower I’ve always used.
Thanks for the video. I have had my mower for 2 months and today it will not start. I did the troubleshooting on the website and nothing.
Since you've been through the troubleshooting process and are sure that the batteries are good and getting fully charged, then I would recommend going through the warranty process with WORX I hope everything works out. Thank you for watching.
thank u i just bought the same one u have i love it thank u
it helps when you're strong!
Great video John. Very helpful. Will those batteries work for the Worx trimmer, blower and hedge cutter too?
Yes they do, I've had them for over a year and love them. They outperformed my expectations. Thanks for watching👍
That looks nice, bet that will work very well.
Its a nice machine, perfect for my small lawn I appreciate your comment
I like that mower! Thanks for the video
It worked very well it’s a little on the small side but it is easy to operate and I’d like to get rid of the gasoline in my garage thanks for watching
Really digging the eco mode J. Green mower for the green stuff. Mark
Hello Mark sorry took so long to get back I’ve been out camping for the last two weeks and I’ve got another week to go I’ll be catching up with you shortly I hope you have a beautiful day as always I appreciate your comments I hope you have a beautiful day all the best. John
Thank you for video, i have buy one and wait for it... :D
I hope you enjoy it when it arrives I've been enjoying mine for just about a year and no complaints at all. Thank you so much for watching I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment.
Very well explained!
Thanks for sharing the video my friend
Thank you for watching I appreciate your comments
thank you
My yards is too large to do the whole yard with that bit I could use it to trim. Nice review.
Hi the mower works great on my small property on Long Island but I could never get much use out of it upstate it just doesn’t have the weight behind it to cut the Heavier grass thanks for watching I’m sitting in the toy hauler right now down at the Atlantic ocean and Lido Beach we’re having a great time thanks for watching
How long does one bar last one the battery? 1 hour? Great review by the way. Thank you 🙏
Thank you very much for watching and taking the time to comment
The easy answer would be it depends on how thick the lawn is and how short you're cutting it, but I understand where you're coming from.
My lawn , which is pretty average, took about an hour and fifteen minutes to cut and completely discharged the two 20 volt 4ah (large) batteries.
Thank you! Perfectly helpful video.
Amazing friend
Thanks for the visit
What you needed here was a sidekick or a pegasus table instead of unboxing on the ground. Nice mower. Mine should be here anyday. Perfect size for a trim mower.
Great idea, thanks for watching👍
How has it held up (or has it) over two years owning it? I’m about to buy this mower I have a small lot my trailer is on.
It's still going strong. batteries are good and the blade is sharp. Best of luck with your new mower, thank you for watching

Thank you very much John I appreciate your comment
It seems like a convenient thing.
For its size and price he did a great job it may not be great for a large property but for a small one it was very effective thank you for watching
Great video just bought one on ebay with dead batteries.
Never heard of this brand before, how it hold up. Usual do my mower and battery shopping at Lowe's or home depot
I'm starting my third season, with the system and so far so good. Batteries are charging normally and the mower cuts grass very well. Thank you for watching, I appreciate your question.
@@JCharlesoutdoors what mac height on it? I see a lot places sale worx online such as target, Walmart, Lowes, home depot, and Amazon but I'm concerned on max height setting. Current Ryobi goes 5inch high which helps tall grass. But not sure how high worx gets
I just came here to find out if the handle is fully collapsible like the 17" model. Or do you have to disassemble it?
Thank you sir!
You are welcome! Thanks for watching, I appreciate your comment 👍
Do you have a video on the new 80 volt version mower? I am thinking about getting it.
No, I have not had a good look at their 80 volt version yet I would be interested in it myself for my property in the mountains. I'm sure you could find someone out there on UA-cam with the video, I'll have to look for one myself now that you've peaked my curiosity. Thank you so much for watching I appreciate your comment
Thx for demo...helps making a decision to purchase 👍 UA-cam Waynesville NC 🇺🇸 Veteran
I’m so glad you found the demonstration useful it’s a great lawnmower, the entire system works very well together. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and leave such a nice comment thank you for your service🇺🇸. John c
@@JCharlesoutdoors I definitely needed some help with the yard and weedeater not doing enough, since grass clumped in low areas and hard on the back ...after 20 minutes of weedeater I was due for a break. Now mower has saved my life and allowed me to live again instead of weedating grass so often .. daily it seemed... 🤕I have a Sr girlfriend that has health issues and will purchase a weedeater like mine ...due to features💜telescoping, handle adjustment and lite wt☺️
I just bought a worx cordless. First mow, I mowed for about 15 minutes, then it wouldn't return on again. Batteries over heated. I waited about 45 minutes then continued. Again, one I stopped, it wouldn't start again.
This is my first ever cordless mower and it just doesn't sound right to me. Do all mowers overheat after 15 minutes of mowing
My worx lawn mower just quit working, the 2 batteries are full charged but when I engage the key switch the light bar by the mower head goes to on dot and the mower quits. Any idea?
EXCELLENT VIDEO my friend! 🤗very good!👍🏼 have a nice day👍 I wish you much success, 👍♥️ I'm waiting for you at my too!👍
Thank you so much for watching I really appreciate your comment at the moment we’re out camping but when I get home I’ll be sure to stop by and pay you a visit thanks again
Great video thank you how wide is the cut please on that model I am thinking of purchasing one just don’t know which model they seem to do a lot
So just got a worx lawnmower. If your grass is over 4 inches it will shut down. It also won’t cut my full lawn. Going back to the store and getting a gas lawn mower. It sucks because it’s actually very simple to use and I like it. But the battery is not powerful enough.
I believe they make a larger one to fit your property, like I said in the video it was perfect for my very small yard.
Your right it is very easy to use not to mention how easy it is to store
Good luck, thanks for watching and commenting
PS I just cut my lawn for the first time this season. I used the string line trimmer on the highest, thickest parts, then cut on the highest setting with the mower then lowered one click at a time until I achieved the desired grass height . Rechargeable is the way if you find the right model for your needs.
ATvB John C
The mower can handle up to 5500 sq. ft. per charge.
@@giyorgisll maybe if you just go back and forth with minimal overlap. I only have a 35x100 ft lot and it couldn’t get more than the front and part of the back done
Could I ask how tall you are? I’m 5’10 and wondering if the handle is high enough or should I go with the more expensive model with adjustable handle? Thanks!
No problem I'm 5' 8" I tend to use one hand ,when mowing, as you would handle a cordless vacuum. Its very light and easy to store. It may be worth the extra dollars, I would have given it a look if I knew there was an adjustable handle version. Thanks for watching, I hope the video was helpful
So it says push mower and I have gotten spoiled with the self propelled. Is it going to be hard to push
It's very easy to push, the deck is a little small, so you have to make more passes than you would with a larger mower. The real difference is in the start up, two buttons and you're on your way, vs filling up with gas, changing spark plugs, and pulling the cord. So far it hasn't required much of any maintenance. I just clean it. Keep the batteries charged. This will be my fourth season using the system. No complaints here not yet anyway thank you for watching. I appreciate your question.
Hi, Broke the key that is easy to break, do you know where I can get a replacement key?
How does it handle thick grass, sometimes it rain for few days straight and cant get to grass and it gets bit thick. Did you also have to get extra batteries too? I know some mowers you need to get some extras as one charge battery isnt enough for both front and back lawns. Especailly when it gets thick.
Thank you for watching. I appreciate your question.
It doesn't handle very thick or wet grass well.
I just cut my lawn for the first time this season and it was a little wet and it was between three and 4 inches deep in some places so I took out my string line trimmer, and I took down the most of it, let it dry for a while in the sun, and then I set the lawnmower at its highest setting and gave it a cut. It did struggle over the thickest parts, but it did the job. I let the lawn dry a bit more, and then I started lowering the height of the mower until I reach the desired effect it's a little more work, but it's definitely worth it. The mower runs so quietly and it's very easy to operate. The lack of noise and poisonous chemicals belching in my face has been a pleasure since switching to rechargeables. Typically I will cut my front lawn on one charge, then recharge the batteries to cut the back yard lawn. If I over heat the batteries I have to wait for them to cool so short breaks help to protect the batteries and speed up recharging.
Well demonstrated simple to follow and well explained, si it's Big y
Thumbs up from me in Scotland just bought the SW743E self propelled easier on the auld legs 😁😁 ALBA GU BRATH
Thank you very much for watching, I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. It's a nice little mower, Scotland 🏴 forever
mine is still in the box, I hope it has the mulch item because I don't use the bag.
can 2.oah 20 volt batteries last a a good while???
For mulching do I still leave the grass box on?
Hi, thanks for watching.
I just ran outside and gave it a try. You can put in the mulching adapter and attach the grass catcher at the same time. You won't catch any grass obviously but it is a convenient place to store the grass catcher even if you're not catching grass. The whole machine is so lightweight that you really don't notice the extra weight, so yeah you can put the grass cut your back on even while you're mulching it does work at least it seem to anyway I appreciate your question. Thank you so much for watching.
@@JCharlesoutdoors thank you so much for answering my question
just ordered one. nice to have somebody teach me how to assemble and operate the thing rather than on my own be reading some dang booklet. Thx.
Thank you dude....just curious did you decide to wear that orange shirt to match the lawn mower? Pretty smart....it was you wife's ideal i bet.
I would like to take credit for the idea, but it was just a random choice that morning. LOL thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment.
Hi
How long is battery last for one charge?
Got the same one however the cut grass keeps making the blade stick and then it cuts off. Got to flip it to the side and pull out the grass from the blade to make it run again. How do i make it stop getting stuck? It should go straight in the bag right?
Quit mowing the grass when it's wet.
L6 nice cordless.
Thank you very much I appreciate your comments have a beautiful day
what does it have for a blade?
It has a small very sharp steel blade after a year of regular use I'm very happy with the performance. TFW
what model was this?
