- My cat is a LOVEBUG but I had been taking care of a cat outside and every time I came in and Ava (my cat) smelled the other cat on me, this was the result. I wanted to finally record it after it happening so often. This night I knew to wear a heavy jacket and when I came over to Ava, I pulled the sleeve down for her to sniff.
I learned I would have to change my clothes and wash my hands before approaching Ava, otherwise this was her reaction 🙀😹

I remember back when my now full-time spoiled cat Morty was a scrappy stray that just made his rounds in the neighborhood and would stay over at my place sometimes, he basically laid claim to the house and came and went as he pleased. One time it was raining out and there was another cat huddled up next to my front door, and when I opened the door to check on the cat, it walked into the house for refuge and hid under the couch. We called the cat Oreo because it was black and white. Oreo looked pregnant so I figured we'd keep it safe and another neighbor said they'd call the ASPCA to pick it up. At one point while we had the door open talking to the neighbor, Morty just casually walks by and strolls into the house, and as soon as he sets foot inside, he stops, turns, and looks at me like "Who else you got up in my house?" then he grumbled under his breath and walked straight over to the couch. I picked him up and put him in my room so he wouldn't harm the other cat, and my housemate eventually let Oreo out when the rain stopped. But Morty was so grumpy the entire night because we had another cat in the house haha.
The ASPCA did end up picking the cat up the next morning, and when we got an update, it turned out that Oreo wasn't pregnant, but just a fat male cat, which definitely explained more why Morty was so pissed haha. Not only that, but he was chipped, and was reunited with his owner who lost him 3 YEARS prior, lived hours away from me, and had never been to the area I live in. And the cat's real name? Oreo! 😂
My cat does the opposite, she gets really excited at the thought of making a friend, so she sticks around me waiting for the foreign cat to pop from somewhere. She's a weird one.
Aww mine does that if she hears cat meows from the phone or tv she runs around and tries to find it and she gets very vocal too lol

A simple cat bite like that actually put me in the hospital. It was crazy how bad it got. I grabbed the neighbors cat because he was getting beat up by a big male stray. He bit me when I grabbed him. He didnt mean it though. As soon as he saw it was my hand and not the other cat his ears went back and he was immediately calm.
