This shows "Scenes From A Hat" is beyond hysterical.
"Colin One Liners" is an absolute MUST.
For a nice bit of all of them, especially Wayne Brady and one of my favorite guests, Jeff Davis: ua-cam.com/video/VmIs0jKqkJY/v-deo.html
The Richard Simmons clip is a must see.
Richard Simmons and Chyna. Lmao
YES
I've always loved this show. Colin and Ryan are hysterical together. You need to do "The best of Colin and Ryan".
Colin was always trying to make the other guys lose it, and he would say the most random things in the process. 😂
The clips of them doing "Irish drinking song" will have you in tears too! 🤣
Greg’s bit from the puberty hoedown still makes me laugh. 😂
What they're doing on this show is called "theater games". They were originally developed as ways to get actors to limber up and explore ideas, and are used a lot by improv groups and teachers. Great fun to do at parties!
Wayne Brady does sing! And act, too! He played the main character in the Broadway show "Kinky Boots"!!, a role was originated by Neil Patrick Harris!
The Drew Carey version was itself a revival of the UK version.
"Scenes from a hat" has always been my favourite part
'Who's line is it Anyway' originated from England. I loved both the English and American versions. Great show!!
Colin Mochrie is a Canadian treasure. He is great at improv comedy. He thinks so fast and the funny is just natural. Kills me every time.
I STILL remember the scene of the FOAL being BORN!! I don't know that I've EVER laughed that hard!! 🤣😆🤣😆🤣😆 Even if you don't react to it - it is a MUST-SEE!!!
Wayne Brady is a comedian, actor and singer. He's been on many TV shows (and had his own) and he is currently the host of Let's Make a Deal. He also won one season of the Masked Singer. Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood (also from Whose Line is it Anyway? ) are currently on tour together doing improv based on audience suggestions.
He’s also a pimp/loan shark.
Ryan, Greg, and Jeff Davis do a regular tour also, separate of Colin and Brad. The show with Ryan, Greg, and Jeff is called, appropriately, Whose Live?
Definitely do more!! Our household watched this all the time. My favorite was "Weird Newscasters" also Greatest Hits, that's where Wayne Brady was at his best!! Scenes from a Hat was good. That's a few of the great ones! Love watching y'all laugh!!
Wayne is very creative and gets into his role, Ryan tends to be serious, regardless of how ridiculous the scene gets, and Collin comes up with the most bizarre thing that make everyone (including himself) wonder what the heck he just said.
The world would be a better place if we had people like this to make us laugh hysterically once in a while.... man, I miss that era.... Well done by all....
You should also check out the uk version of this show .The show originated in uk and was running for about 10 years before the USA series aired . Both shows were hilarious but very different in their styles .Greg Proops , Ryan Stiles, Colin Mochrie and Mike Mc Shane were regular guests along with many more fantastic American and Canadian comedians .However the comedy censorship in the uk is a lot more lenient and you notice it in the delivery of their jokes or lines .
Youre right. Wayne does sing. You need to do some of their record commercials. Colin and Ryan are selling a record about a certain subject and when they the songs on the album Wayne and the fourth person (usually Chip) have to sing songs using that titile. They are hilarious.
The Drew Carey show was great for many seasons. Ryan was one of the regulars. It is amazing comedy.
You're spot on, Wayne Brady was always great at musical bits on the show.
I SO LOVED THIS SHOW!! Watched it: every week and WAITED for it to come on! Drew Carey Show was AWESOME, TOO! ENJOY, YA'LL!!
I love the Drew Carey show unfortunately nobody streams it and you can only buy the first season on DVD. From what I understand after the first season, Warner did not own the rights to any of the music.
They are hysterical. They are improv geniuses.
Haven't even started the video and I'm already laughing!! I miss this show!
I've watched this for about 25 yrs. It never gets old! 😂😂❤❤
Scenes from a hat, irish drinking song, and hoedown are probably the best to react too
Also the newscast and selling records
The skit 'Sound Effects" will have you guys and gals rolling on the floor lol, such a great one!
You can fall down a real hilarious rabbit hole with this
😊❤ Hi Phil and Sam! 😅 I love these guys!! Yes, you are correct about the 'core four' and then guests. Currently, Wayne Brady is the host of "Let's Make A Deal" and Drew Carey is the host of "The Price is Right". 😊 Wayne does sing very well! There are episodes where they are doing a similar game but they have to go back and forth with song lyrics in whatever genre that Drew picks!! Those episodes are non stop laughing!! Luv you guys!! 😊❤❤
Folks, you have opened up a whole new can of comedic worms....
Whenever I am down and need a laugh, this is my go to show, even if I have watched an episode 1000 times.
Enjoy.
All the best.
Cheers.
Maybe 20 - 30 more episodes of this. You know just to make sure you have a good feel for it.
As said before, you'll love "Scenes from a hat" and even the Hodowns at the end of the shows.
Just explore all the possibilities that come from Who's Line Is It Anyway.. Awesome stuff!
Oh man... skit with Richard Simmons is a Must... So Hilarious:)
The series just officially ended in February. It was the 3rd incarnation with Aisha Tyler hosting, Drew hosted the 2nd. The cast of characters was pretty much the same (Ryan, Colin, Greg, Brad and Wayne were the mainstays), throughout, all the way back to the UK version. It's hard to believe it lasted almost 4 decades (it started in 88 in the UK) and went straight through to ABC and the CW.
There best game is well known for being....scenes from a hat. Its just brilliantly funny!!!!😆😅🤣😂😋🤪😝👏🙌🙏👍🎉
Such a great funny show.
I'm so happy you guys did this! Please do more, the "things you can say about X but not your partner" segments are amazing 😂
I can’t wait for the 6 part “3 Hours of Hoedowns” series :P
The episode with Guest Richard Simmons is a must!
I saw them live! They were so good and talented! It’s on HBO Max also!
Haven’t watched this for years.
More please 😂
The uncensored bloopers are one of the best compilations to watch
AWESOME Show. A lot of repeats, but even these people have talent enough to make Repeats totally different. Always HYSTERICAL. Great Post.
You guys need to dive down this rabbit hole. You have NO IDEA how funny it gets
Drew Carey's Whose Line Is It Anyway is the best show. Even now!
Ryan and Colin were the GOAT!
Party Quirks with Kathy Greenwood (uncensored) is the funniest Whose Line bit I've ever seen. Colin just gets to feel everyone up
Living scenery with Richard Simmons please
I grew up watching Who's Line Is It Anyway! Love it! There was a version of it before Drew Carey
Well, I am absolutely loving this! Thanks y’all!
Definitely need more of this!!
These are great!! They are extremely talented and very quick witted!! Keep doing them, along with the music reactions, of course.
"How does this feel?"
PFF
"...Ow!"
The Robin Williams "Hollywood Director" skit is a must see¡
Colin and Ryan are hilarious! You should watch Colin Does The News and Ryan and Colin selling things....Also, the ones with Richard Simmons or Robin WIlliams are hard to even explain...lol
More! “News Flash” with Colin & Ryan!
My absolute favorite from this show is the burnoose scene. Also known as the cat scene or the laundry. I stopped breathing the first time I saw it on tv I was laughing so hard.
I was able to be in the audience of the Who's Line is it anyway a few times back when Drew was the host. Tickets were free. They would film several episodes for about 4 hours in a session. Once seated you could not leave (but you never would). The best looking people would be placed behind Drew. If you think seeing this on TV was fun you have no idea on how fun this was in person.
They had comedians in between filming that would keep you entertained so you were never board. The 4 hours went by so fast every time.
Wayne, Ryan and Colin were way funnier than they can ever show on TV.
I watched one episode where the NEON lights in front of Drew's box was smashed on accident. It was funny as F*K. and epic. Have fun reacting to more.
YES do more. I love this show. Try compilation albums.
The single greatest Who's Line is when Drew Carey was on in Scenes From a Hat #63 when Robin Williams war on it.
I really liked how Drew Carey and Wayne Brady were in the movie Geppetto
The best episode ever had fitness guru Richard Simmons on.
Always a fun watch.
The Drew Carry version was an American revival of the original British show, which was hosted by Clive Anderson. Then it was later revived again with Aisha Tyler as host.
Gotta check out "Living Scenery" with Richard Simmons. By far the most hysterical skit ever on that show. No other guest has made the audience jump out of their seats with laughter.
I love this show. Ryan and Colin are the best ever. Used to watch this every night. Watch a segment called scenes from a hat. You'll be rolling
As you both mention in the intro here....The big thing about WLIIA was the Improv aspect....To come up with that level of comedic artistry ON THE SPOT is a true talent.
It's on The CW, which is a FREE channel anyone can get with just an antenna from Walmart or any other store who sells them and a TV. No internet, no cable, no satellite required!
My favorite games are Questions (you just saw), Irish Drinking Song, Film Dub, Sound Effects, Scenes From A Hat, Newsflash, and Let's Make A Date/Dating App, If You Know What I Mean, Hollywood Director, Living Scenery, Mixed Messages, Moving People, Party Quirks, Props, Secret, Sideways Scene, Action Scene, Themed Restaurant, Three-Headed Song, Weird Newscasters, and World's Worst.
This was originally a British radio, then TV program, and I was a fun right from the start. Over the years there was a good amount of overlap between Brits and Yanks, and the quality remained high. One of my favorite bits was something called party quirks which could get extremely funny once all four guests were interacting. Great stuff.
Guest Richard Simmons and Robin Williams are Epic!
This show is actually an American reboot of a British show (which is also hilarious). “Scenes From A Hat” is my favorite game, I’d love to play it, I think I’d be good at it!
You must go down the Whose Line rabbit hole!!
I would look for Scenes from a Hat, Greatest Hits, Sound Effects and Party Quirks
♥ this show!
Other good ones from “Whose line” are the segments “Irish drinking song” “ho down” and when Colin is a news anchor/CD salesman
Colin is Canadian, Ryan is American-Canadian - born in the US but has Canadian citizenship. You might know Ryan from The Drew Carey Show from before WLIIA.. He was a regular that played "Lewis", half of the half-witted duo with Diedric Bader (played "Oswald") on the show.
Most people that came on Whose Line did multiple episodes, but they occasionally had famous actors that only did one episode. Probably the best of these and probably one of the best episodes of all time was when Robin Williams was on it.
Whose Line Is It Anyway? is a short-form improvisational comedy show created by Dan Patterson and Mark Leveson. The three major versions of the show are the original 1988 British radio programme (from which all subsequent versions are adapted), the British television programme, which ran from 1988 to 1999, and the American television programme, which ran from 1998 to 2007 and was revived in 2013.
The OG Whose Line is it Anyway is still a hoot. There's a ton of classic moments from this show to name, including the Party Quirks episode where one lucky woman Melissa got involved, and also the episodes with the late Robin Williams and Whoopi Goldberg.
The episode with Richard Simmons is a MUST WATCH it's absolutely hilarious 😂 😃 😅🎉❤
Wayne Brady is the host of Let’s Make a Deal. He’s an outstanding singer.
They have a great skit named "HOWDOWN!" You get to hear them sing.
You guys really need to check out season 5 episode 17 of this show...... your gut will definitely get a good work out from laughing...... Richard Simmons is all I'm gonna say 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
My favorites are 'Scenes from a hat' and 'Props'.
Wayne and Brad and Chip are the singers who do improvised songs. Sometimes Wayne does them solo. I love all the actors. They're hilarious. Greg has some of the wildest faces.
We don't care for the new iteration, where each episode they bring on a celebrity, usually from the CW, rather than use audience members like Drew did
The show with Richard Simmons as the guest is hilarious. Best episode by far.
Wayne Brady has a great singing voice! He’s also a good freestyle rapper. He’s been on “Sway in the Morning” multiple times and done the “5 fingers of death” it’s when Sway (the host) will name a new topic for the artist to rap about while a beat is playing. Wayne’s done a bunch of them and they’re all great.
😂. I remember seeing this show on the tv lineup, but I never watched it. Thanks for sharing this. I loved it. 😁
OMG! I loved this sooo much!! This guys at so funny! I watched this a lot! They always make me laugh so hard!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You definitely should do more!!❤❤❤❤
Some of their best work never made it to air, there are a good number of videos of things they couldn't run. Easy to find.
Wayne Brady on the Chapelle show was hilarious
Scenes from a hat and the Robin Williams episode is the best
My favorite running gag is all the grief they give Ryan about his footwear. Thanks for sharing. Peace, all 💕
I watched that show all the time... The 1 with Richard Simmons is the funniest that I've ever seen... They also have an uncensored version you can look at on youtube... Great reaction guys... See you on the next one...
Wayne was on Marc Rebillet's stream the week before Harry Mack and Marc met up for the first time. at that time, Marc had every mic input feeding to his loop station,(in fact, he may have only had one mic) so when trying to lock in his beats, Wayne's improv would screw up the loop. it was hilariously awkward. the following week, when Harry was there he finally had a second mic.
This show was great. best british comedy. why isnt there more like this in this era
How about the one with Robin Williams. Also one with Richard Simmons.
You should listen to the uncensored ones. Laughs galore😂😂😂😂
You have to do the Richard Simmons one
It’s such a classic show! My favourite improv games they did are narrate, and 2 line vocabulary.
You should check out the British version of the show with some of the same comedians in the US version like Colin, Ryan, and Greg, but some British ones added in as well. Ryan just cracks me up. The whole show was an absolute hoot. There nothing like it around today.
there are lots of "news according to Colin" videos that are hilarious. Colin is the only Canadian
I have seen every episode of these old and new episodes
