If you call yourself a true Whitney fan you shouldnt be sad that her voice isnt what it was.. You should be happy that the world has one like Whitney.. Because its no one like her! And even though her voice isnt what it was, her voice is still AMAZING and the BEST around! So to all you " Whitney fans" who is still hung up on the old whitney.Go to hell.Whitney IS still the QUEEN and will 4-EVER have that title! @bellagoestohell I saw her in Glasgow and I was wowing alot! :) Her voice is very different now, she's not Whitney of the 80's or 80's. And also she's nearly 50! When I saw her in May her voice sounded great and even I Will Always Love You was well done!
@76767654 Thanks! :) I wasn't much of a fan before I saw her live in May but after that night I am definately a true fan now! I was thinking "Wow! She's not sounded this good in years" but little did I know she sounded like that in other concerts as the clips I saw of the concert I was at she sounded the same so obviously it wasn't just my concert that she was good at! Legend! :D
@rossgardiner So true!! :) Nice to hear from a true whitney fan! :)... It takes alot to be Whitney Houston, and especially with all the pressure of being her former she... And thats no secret, she cant go back to her glory days BUT WE HAVE TO NO MATTER WHAT SUPPORT HER...Because her voice is still GOLDEN!! And its people like you and me who by sharing our love can give Whitney strenght to keep on going and nurture her voice again!
@rossgardiner well maybe seeing her live is different.if she was unknown,and now became a star I would be amazed by her voice.even when she's bad she is good compared to others.but I can't make excuses for her when she is taking pauses in the middle of the song, coughing.I understand I will always love you is a difficult song, and tone of her voice is different. maybe she should keep to her new songs, which suit her new voice much better. i wowed at her didn't know my own strength performance.
@76767654 You are right! Even without the drugs her voice still wouldn't be that much better, just maybe a different sound and less coughing. I tried to sing this song once (the video is on my channel if anyone wants to see an epic fail LOL) and I couldn't talk for days after just singing it ONCE!
Everyone has to understand that now Whitney doesn't have a voice suited to youtube! Imagine this performance with her voice surrounding you in the actual arena! Her voice sounds fantastic live but even the best youtube videos have failed to show how good she is! Other singers can sound great on youtube clips filmed by the audience but Whitney certainly can't! I've been to see her and the youtube videos from the night I went made her sound TERRIBLE compared to what she actually sounded like! :D
@76767654 and at grossgardiner..ya know we are truly what we watch and read, Sometimes all of the negative comments on youtube not only make me doubt the artist but my own ability to transcend my current situation and reach the realm of Whitney and others who have graced us with the best that they had to give...how dare we say it is not good enough when we have the choice to do better...lovers like us have to keep loving and believing that some day we will all be free... Why are people wowing at this performance when i saw the comments and feed back on other videos i expected it to be different, i.e. she held the key and didn't shout i love her but i fail to see how this is an improvement. Looker at her performance in korea first concert of the tour she actually sang the last verse. i can't understand why she shouts it now and can't even be bothered to hold the notes and of them

I hope I will wow her again, but she is so not there. not yet, I hope. but something tells me she will never get it back :'( anyway, just wanted to say I am annoyed by people wowing her, obviously they didn't see her at her best. which is worlds away from her today. she is just terrible compared to herself when she was the best of the rest. leona can have her for lunch now.
