The algorithm brought this video to my feed because I was watching videos about my SMP. I didn’t expect to be blown away by the videography and writing. What an incredible video.
Great job Andrei. The music fits so well. My wife just gifted me the green Seamaster 300m and I love it. She said it reminds her of the watch I wore when we met - a beat-up green diver I bought half a world away on deployment with the US Navy.
Completely agree. He helped me in the process of choosing my Certina DS Action Diver which is now my daily watch, and I'm completely addicted to it. Probably one of the best diver out there for 1k€ and for what it offers. I would love to see more Certina content.
Years of viewing watch reviews, how is it I just found this channel. Watches are an art form, but this man is an artist, watching his videos are utmost soothing but sophisticated. I'd actually pay to watch this. What a tremendous appreciation and approach he has taken. As a collector I find his videos very poetical. Get this man a job as a brand ambassador!!!
Wearing mine now, and nearly every day for the last 3 years,, it's just had it's 3rd birthday, and I love it just as much today, as I did when I bought it.. (24/07/2020.) My most precious possession.. ❤️..
I like the vibe of this vid. Amazing videography. Personal insights (as usual). Genuine passion for watches. Amazing content. Unique watch channel on YT that will grow for sure as it fully deserves it! Great job Andrei!
Lovely edition, Andrei. You made me open my main watchbox and stare at the one watch that shares the most memories with me. No need to mention brand or model.
The mix of personal stories, incredible camera work, watch reviews and the amazing music make your videos to something special in the sea of watch channels. Thank you for the great work.
I think this is your masterpiece video. Everything you said about this watch resonates with me and I just love my Seamaster 300 even more than the day I bought it. The quality of this video is a perfect homage to our seafaring timepiece.. Bravo and thank you!

I've subscribed to your channel for two and a half years and always enjoyed the content but this video is the best yet. The filming is exceptional, with background music to match but it is the narrative that resonates so much, taking us through the journey of owning, selling, regretting and re-purchasing the Seamaster. The Seamaster is a wonderful watch (I have six!) but the final words of this video really sum up the beauty of watch ownership, with it being a witness on the wrist, marking moments and special occasions. All of the watches special to me, have a connection to some of life's journeys and that is what the joy of watch ownership is really all about! Keep up the great work.
I am super glad and happy for being close to me and to the channel for so long! that was kinda the idea, to make something special for a special watch. It involved a lot of effort and a lot of hopes, the video didn't work as I expected. BUT, I am satisfied because If feels I did the right thing for the right people! and that matter for me more. Maaaaan I'm looking this watch every day for some weeks now, I have to try it because it's driving me crazy ! You're video makes me want to have it even more ! GREAT video ! ;)
Hi Andrei. I found your channel through the BB54 video and I’ve got to say mate, your video’s are some of the best watch related content on UA-cam. I’ve got a similar story with the Seamaster. After having owned many different watches, the newest model 300m now stands as my only watch (bar an F-91W Casio). Growing up and getting to the stage where I’m about to get into the housing market meant I had to downsize and after weeks of consideration the watch that made sense to keep was the Seamaster, and having it as a one piece has only made me appreciate it all the more. Like I say loving the videos and unique format you’ve got going here, keep it up my friend! All the best, Josh
Thank you very much Josh! :) I am glad to hear the SMP300 made sense for you, it's an amazing piece, ticks so many boxes! And yes, It can be called as the perfect 1 watch collection! All the best, Andrei
Andrei you outdid yourself!! This is not a watch video this is an ode to THE ONE who started it all AND the journey. Amazing video mate!!! Hope you do a video about the cases you mentioned, not the watches, the cases
This is such a nice video. I would not normally be interested in a recent mechanical watch but this one is special. I completely understand your attachment to it. In 1970, I decided the Omega Flightmaster was what I most wanted and when I was finally able to afford an old used one in the 80s, I never longed for anything else. (Needless to say, I no longer think a dozen years is a long time!)
Great video! I consolidated my collection earlier in the year to buy the blue SMP on the bracelet. No regrets, it can easily be a one watch collection. You're probably one of 5 channels that I watch on UA-cam, please continue making great content!
I second his motion. One of my favorite channels. I’m considering a new watch, last addition was the omega-Swatch. Currently considering the Omega 300 or one of the Metas Tudor releases
Great vid. My SMP300M is one year old this week and I love it. I went for the ‘great white’ 🦈 and love the contour of the case, the wave dial and the crispness of the design. Won’t be leaving my collection any time soon. It’s a keeper 👊
I just became aware of your channel within the past year or so and have thoroughly enjoyed every video I’ve seen, but I must tell you that this video is absolutely incredible! Your reviews are always honest and without bias. I have often wondered if you were from a military background due to the very focused and concise details of your reviews. You include everything relevant and informative while excluding everything that isn’t. I so appreciate your format. I always look forward to videos. Very well done! 🥃 I love everything about the Omega you featured except for one thing…. Those skeletonized hands! I would a thousand times rather they used the sword style hands for example. So much more readable at a glance, especially in low light environments. They would allow so much available surface for lume applications.
And I am super happy to have such warm and amiable people next to me, around to the channel :) Normally I try to explain in the videos, kinda what's new or relevant for each watch, I appreciate people's time and I try to be pretty on point :D also the fact that English is my second, maybe 3rd language, this might be a factor as well. As for the hands, they are a bit too complex for the watch, I agree. I think a simplified version of them would be more relevant for the next generation. Thank you once again for your kind words, Andrei
@@BraveBeaters your English is excellent. I’m so glad I discovered your channel. Quality content is always appreciated and keeps me coming back for more. Your channel is just one of a handful of that I follow. 🥃
A beautiful video, and a beautiful story. Thank you kindly for sharing this part of your journey in such a personal way. "Its a witness on our wrist, telling stories and marking moments..." I couldn't agree more. For me this is particularly true for my own Seamaster 300M as well (I have the "black bond" quartz model). I've always felt drawn to the Omega Seamaster for its Naval connection, robustness and style. This watch has been to hell and back with me, so I have some idea how you might feel about yours. I'm very happy you were able to be reunited with yours as it has been such a part of your journey. As you've alluded to, at some point these timepieces become more then the sum of their parts. Thank you again! p.s. you've outdone yourself with the cinematography in this video! Amazing!
@@BraveBeaters your views on collecting watches are very down to earth. They have helped me greatly, and being content in what I can actually afford is a blessing indeed. Thanks and continue being brave!
Andrei, I want to personally congratulate you on this video. First of all, well done on the evolution of your work. Amazing how much you have grown in terms of quality and presentation. Stunning work. Second of all, this video makes so much sense and in so many ways. You nailed the watch collecting journey in your narrative. Such mature approach. I have gone through the exact same journey and in the end you realize the same conclusions as you mention in your video. And funnily enough I went though the EXACT SAME story with my Seamaster 300M. It was quite interesting watching your video. Keep up the great work. This video truly was a masterpiece and I have really enjoyed watching the way you put this together and the story attached to it. Thank you
Super kind words, Thank you! It shows us that we are humans after all, in some aspects connected from the behavioural perspective :) Tank you once again!
Brilliant videography and superb editing combined with great sound make this a great video. The subject matter of the 300M is the cherry on the top. My watch has another year on the warranty and I love it. The only criticism that I have of this watch is like many others it has become less of a tool watch to look at although it still the specifications remain but that's it. Many thanks for sharing.
Stunning masterpiece video. I love my Seamaster as well rarely take it off and I dive with it. Amazing on rubber strap. In colder months equally beautiful on mesh bracelet as well as leather straps from Colarab and Barton. Looking forward to more soulful, artistic and unique content!
Buddy, nice video. I found myself not liking this watch at all in the start to slowly growing to appreciate it over time. The gift of experiencing a watch change its perception over time is truly remarkable and a unique feeling.
Wow what an awesome adventure you have had with this wonderful watch . Same watch (white dial) similar adventures Keep up the great content and undoubtedly one of the best videos I’ve seen in a long time. Wills 👍🏼
Your editing, drone and photography skills are wonderful. Great work. Always wanted a Seamaster 300 since Bond, but those hands always put me off. I pray that one day they'll change them.
27 years wearing an Omega Seamaster 300m diver. It was actually introduced in 1993. It is an amazing watch. It’s a combat wombat as opposed to my Rolo which scratches the moment you look at it.
I was trying a green SMP300 about a week ago. A beautiful watch, but it just felt to big for me. For the reference my wrist is 17cm (6 3/4”). I was surprised how flat it appears in person. The only downside apart from the size was the bezel action. Scalloped SMP300 is hard to operate, at least to me. While I’m figuring out what my next watch could be I decided to get my current watches serviced and enjoy them on new straps. I own a Marathon GSAR 41mm automatic and a Seiko SARB035.
I have this SeaMaster 300 in bronze on the black plastic strap. Have had it for about a year and a half. It’s a watch I will hand over to my oldest, my daughter, one day. I have been looking at the Submariner with date..but haven’t pulled the trigger to purchase. It just isn’t that appealing IMO compared to the SeaMaster 300. If the Submariner prices continue to drop, I may buy one. If I don’t, I’m buying a 1995 Toyota Land Cruiser. My 300 would look damn cool in that rig ;) Keep sharing your story and great video congrats. Semper First, Lieutenant Colonel, U.S. Marine Corps (Retired)
What an exceptional piece of work, well done! Such a personal and accurate account of a great watch and your relationship with it. Perceptive and true, with regard to the SMP, but also our path in life more generally. Great editing and visuals too - I can only imagine how good a location that might be for spearfishing and free diving! May I ask where it is - generally if its a secret spot! As for the SMP itself, I've never owned one (really the only diver of note I haven't), although the green model does tempt me. While I find the overall design striking, I find it too busy and over detailed (which you allude to) - less is more, Omega! But, my friend that was a great vid and while the watch might have gained some scars away from you, its sale has been worthwhile from a viewer's perspective!
Thank you, James, Kind words! :) The location is the same, as usual, Ionian Sea, Greece, Lefkada. you are right, the SMP is a ''busy watch'' and sometimes, it might be too much, I agree.
I never take mine off my wrist...except for service/maintenance. So no scratches. Still going strong. Scratches are user faults. And yes, mine really goes to the sea, and deep dives.
Brutal vídeo ❤ i have the same watch since 2021 , and it was great friend never let you down and the dial with popping details ❤ and yes it was my first high end luxury watch, but the next step is buying airking to have 2 cool watches 😛
I mix up my watch collection with two from each brand... Omega scored with a Seamaster 300 Chronograph & Speedmaster Moonphase. Both Stainless Steel 18k Sedna Gold. On rubber strap and leather strap. Lovely watches... mixed in with Grand Seiko and G-Shock MRG
@@BraveBeaters Which region or island was shown in this video? I have been on Rhodos and Zakynthos. Both stunning. But Greece has so many beautiful islands and areas to discover

My 300 would look damn cool in that rig ;)
Keep sharing your story and great video congrats.

Such a beautiful piece, that 300m! Congratulations! With respect, Andrei! :)
Great video, it took me years to know what i actually like. Now i only collect Seamasters ...
Wauw. Love this video . Great watch
Cheers! :)
Such a well-made video! May I ask where is the location of this beach and lighthouse?
Thank you! :) It's in Greece, Lefkada, Cape Doukato.
The location is the same, as usual, Ionian Sea, Greece, Lefkada. you are right, the SMP is a ''busy watch'' and sometimes, it might be too much, I agree.
@@BraveBeaters A beautiful location, thanks!
Loved this video. I have the same model in blue!
I never take mine off my wrist...except for service/maintenance. So no scratches. Still going strong. Scratches are user faults. And yes, mine really goes to the sea, and deep dives.
Just selling mine as its getting no wrist time great watch hope I don't live to regret it.
I guess, it still can be re purchased if you miss it. the only problem is that.. the prices are getting higher and higher.
Brutal vídeo ❤ i have the same watch since 2021 , and it was great friend never let you down and the dial with popping details ❤ and yes it was my first high end luxury watch, but the next step is buying airking to have 2 cool watches 😛
Haha, Cheers! Works next to an Airking :)
@@BraveBeaters with that video you make me changing to rubber bracelet again 🙈😛😅
Great video, thank you! What are the tropic straps you are using?
Thank you! They are from 7friends&watches.com
@@BraveBeaters cool, thanks!
Interesting video, beautifully presented, and a very nice watch too 👍 . I still hate that He valve though 😁
hahaha! it's still there, sadly :D
4:14 that company also made the cases for the Eberhard Scafograf and Scientigraf
Correct, it's was mirrored with the doxa case :)
Where did you take this beautiful nature shots?
Looks like a lovely place to travel and snorkel with my white dial Seamsster SMP 😃
Great video ❤
haha! yes, Greece, Mediterranean Sea is good for snorkeling.

Which region or island was shown in this video?
I have been on Rhodos and Zakynthos. Both stunning. But Greece has so many beautiful islands and areas to discover
Wearing my black dial 300m right now 😀
