After all my marble videos and chain reactions in one take: I'm back with the screenlink format. It allows me to test riskier techniques and make longer videos. And for the first time it's a 100% Kapla project, inspired by @KaplaBen here : • 72 domino tricks with ...
Until now I only had 400 planks but I contacted the company and they sent me a big box with thousands of Kaplas :p
I also personally bought red and blue Kaplas to make the project more colorful and easy to understand. The idea for the colors is that white Kapla = structure, blue = Domino and red = mechanism or important part (approximately).
I tried to use only big and impressive structures, which you can't do with normal sized dominoes. Let's talk about the tricks in order of appearance :
- Zig-zag Inversion : there is tape on all the blue kaplas to make them slide more, because the paint rubs too much and stops the kaplas from going down. The lever part is ultra tricky, it has to be perfectly placed to work in both ways. But once the right height is found it seems to work every time.
- Double Inversion: I didn't think that was possible x) . As you can imagine, the hardest part is the first descent. The kaplas must have exactly the right angle. If you look carefully there is a hole underneath the 2 horizontal red kaplas, to prevent the vibrations of the shock from making the tilted blue kaplas from falling early.
- Spiral stairs: like in the @KaplaBen screenlink but higher, with colors, and with barriers to prevent the kaplas from falling on each other which caused me some failures. It doesn't happen in his video but I still don't understand how, maybe luck?
- Double wallback: Probably the clip that failed the most, because the wall was too strong with pillars at 45°. With this version with all pillars aligned it seems to work all the time. I think it's even possible to do triple/quadruple/infinite wallback with this structure ! Each wall wants to fall because of the weight at its extremity (3 horizontal kaplas) but it can't because of the weight of the wall above
- Double slide (there is lots of double in this video) : I thought it was a fun challenge to design a multi-use element with kaplas. It almost failed, the red block almost touched the final blue line !
- Implosion towers : the way it was supposed to fall down is like the first tower, many kaplas fall at the bottom of it and the base breaks. Not really what happened but it looks cool. Don't build this trick, it's not reliable and based on luck. Sometimes the tower will not fall or a kapla will be ejected through the tower and hit the next blue line.
- Square slide : of course there is tape everywhere on the red kapla to make it slide easily
- KAPLApult : I cheated about my 100% pure Kapla project because of tape once again. It was impossible to make it work without a big block like that, all the kaplas need to apply the force at the exact same time. If you know how to build it without tape, feel free to leave me a comment below ;)
It almost failed (especially the 2nd one). Yes it's unreliable and impossible to know where the red kapla is going to fall. To make it work you need a bigger target zone.
- Zig-zag towers : they are so much in sync that it's troubling
- Shockwave : I used a trick like that in my collab with Hevesh5. But this time it's more reliable (worked on the first try) because the shock is big enough, thanks to tape
- Falling inside the tower : I like how it goes up without any kapla falling on the ground and not that much protective barriers. And lol it hitted the light and make it turn to follow the chain reaction
- Tube bridge : invented by @kaploss here : • Domino Kapla #10: Bri...
Easy to make it fall but a nightmare to build. You have to build it like a tower and turn it on its side. It holds thanks to the friction so paint is a good thing here. Placing the dominoes inside the tube was a hardcore level of building
- Kapla wheel : @kaploss again : • Domino kapla #9: freew...
Not reliable because it can disassemble randomly when rolling
- Classic bridge : Just because I had to do it. There is no real Kapla video without a bridge like that :)
- The arch : ultra hard to build alone, but it looks cool for a thumbnail
- Risky bridge : it's like a video game when the bridge is falling behind you. One week thinking about it and testing to find this design. Tips : easier to build if you have an even floor, not like mine
- X trick : a small and slow trick to contrast with the rest. Hard to build it high because of unstability
- Down tower : I invented this tricks almost 10 years ago in an old video on this channel. Because of the tunnel it continues only when the tower is completely destroyed
- Pyramid : a pyramid - Розваги
0:14 was a real "Wait, WHAT?" moment.
Yes so cool move
Ikr
Yeah bruh that was unreal
How are the waves possible? Can't even comprehend the physics.
The moonwalking janga blocks 😂😂😂
This video started out with a lot of potential.
And took some kinetic turns 😁
A lot of potential to make 9/11 jokes out of falling domino towers
Oh hey you're that guy
Hi
*EXECUTION INCOMING*
I love how almost all of them are trying to get a domino to the very top and then proceed to absolutely wreck the structure underneath.
I was amazed at the stability of the structures, how they wouldn't collapse until the moment that they're supposed to, even as blocks are hitting them, etc
Utterly brilliant. Seriously, every clip made me go “WOW!” You come up with the most ingenious tricks in every project you create! I feel inspired. And I very much appreciate the detailed commentary in the description as well. Amazing video!
Thank you ! it was hard not to reach the limit of 5000 characters
For real! It always blows my mind that people still manage to come up with so much creative stuff with nothing but rectangular pieces of plastic or wood, but this is just next level.
Hey Hevesh5, have you seen Bulk Dominoes' new Electro Dominoes? They're pretty fun to watch fall down in the dark!
I agree
@@scichopath8747 i use them in my intro for my videos :)
The neighbors downstairs: 😡❗❓
It was tricky, I stopped to build a few times because it was too late to take the risk to knock everything down
Ayy hii, I have subscribed to both of you and am delighted to see two legends meet❤️❤️

KEEP IT DOWN, WILL YA? I'm trying to get some sleep!
haha
I love how many of these start with genius tricks, delicate maneuvers where blocks thread between other blocks, narrow balances that barely hold... and then end with a big tower just slumping chaotically over sideways into everything.
Holy cow. This feels like watching speedrunners when they pull off impossible tricks in video games, except it's falling blocks.
Very well done and creative. Thank you for posting this.
Amazed by the dominos, even more amazed by how many rooms this person has.
@@S2Dominoes I know lol
And the number of cameras
And the number of tiny wooden planks (and hours in the day)
And empty rooms at that
@@S2Dominoes whoosh
Anyone else find this soo satisfying
100%
Yes me
Literally everyone watching
No. It's stupid
This is great fun to watch! This really needs to be shown in Architecture and structural engineering classes, not only for the enjoyment of it but to show why cross bracing is necessary!
So many of these tricks left me staring at the screen stupidly with my jaw on the floor! This is an absolutely brilliant piece of work, and the true definition of kinetic art! Amazing job!
Glad you’re back!!! These were all amazing, but 2:23 was especially satisfying to me! Keep up the great work. We appreciate how much work and time this takes to do. :)
00:11 this 3 way up-down so epik.
Please, 0:12 is the real OG
АгаУиш
Absolutely breathtaking. Each trick was so ingenious - I especially liked the one at 0:11. Incredible job!
that's also one of my favorite, triple use kaplas !

I feel like each one of those deserves its own UA-cam video
Not a single second of this video was not spent in awe. All props to you! I am amazed.
I'm tired of this kind of video, reluctantly clicked and I'm impressed at the different ways in which you got them to fall, jump, slide and crumble. Actually very impressive
This is creativity and originality at the highest level. You came back in the most incredible fashion. Welcome back!!
Absolutely mind-blowing! The creativity is off the chains! Especially love the the planks racing across the collapsing bridge.
The amount of patience this guy has to stack all of these up without knocking them down is Incredible.
What's more incredible is the persistence involved in coming up with tricks like these and getting them to topple successfully.
@@builderbros554 very true
What you don’t know is that he knocks them down all the time and when he does he gets eliminated and replaced by a clone of himself who will do a better job.
ㅇㅈ
OK, this was like completely insane! It felt like every trick was something I've never seen before, and most of it looked impossible. AWESOME!!
Genius. How you planned these, let alone set them up, is incredible. Best video like this I've seen. Brilliant.
0:13 That totally blow my mind. They are pushing each other without falling.
Your best video for sure
That's a whole entire level of building and creativity
Yeah planks are better to build creative structures (I like dominoes too but it's different). Thank you !
9 years later this will be 90M and youtube will recommend this
Watched this over and over with my 12-year-old. Tried analyzing it. Very impressive and brilliant!! Keep up the creative work!
ahh, it’s actually so refreshing to see a video that has a sole purpose of impressing the viewer/blowing the viewer away. Amazing job, these are some of the most ingenious chain reactions I have ever seen :o
This is why I'm an engineer and not a city planner. My cities would behave very much like this. I usually comment on music videos but this is too damn good to pass up! Absolutely brilliant!
The long waiting for a new video from you really worths it.
These are definitely the MOST creative domino builds, i have EVER seen! Absolutely perfect!!
This is just ridiculous, what a level of skill and determination! It's amazing to watch!
This is unbelievably satisfying to watch, I had a giant grin the entire time
Congratulations, it's amazing. It's not just retro-engineering, it's retro-engineering, but with a twist !
Still the best kapla video ever to this day. Looks like I really need to do something about it, not just say I'll do something about it
do it :)
Do it!
@@Kaplamino glad you still alive man!
Wow, that was so creative and satisfying!! Each and every clip blew my mind!! This has got to be the most unique kapla video I have ever seen, amazing, amazing job!
THIS IS SO AWESOME! I never could have thought of these tricks in a thousand years!
You could have. He did. He’s actually an immortal and has been doing it since medieval times.
Amazing work. Stunned at the tower falling from inside in 2.34. Every tricks were wonderful and I loved watching them all.
I've never seen anything like this before. Absolutely incredible work!
1:57 was my favorite part, but I was impressed with every single one.
I really like it and it’s funny!
Lol 1:51 collapsing tower hits video light...
Yeeah man I think that only us noticed it
Oh hello there!
Amazing! So happy you uploaded again! it was so creative!
I knew amazing tricks were possible with these things in general, but this video blew my mind anyway. Wow! Will have to watch this with my kids.
It's nice to see you upload again!
I hope it doesn't take too long this time.
This is why I subscribed to Kaplamino
When I saw the first one I had only one thought “if that whole building falls down I will 100% watch til the end” did not disappoint!!
I am blown away! Excellent work! I have never seen such tricks!!! Thank you for being awesome!!
The title really fits! I was seriously impressed with how complex the tricks were for using just kaplas. You also came up with some super cool ideas and massive structures. The video overall shows your style so well. Great job, this is one of your best videos, if not your best!
That was the goal, make something impressive with only kaplas. Glad you liked it !
@@Kaplamino Good
You’re a lot like Doodlechaos in the sense that you do a variety of different things, but everything you do is still executed flawlessly and beautifully.
This is without doubt the best kapla related video I’ve ever seen! The creativity of this video is taken to another level! Seriously impressive!
Thanks for all your explanations. It was fantastic to see!!
The transitions are really smooth you can't even tell this was all done in the same room in the same place at first glance. Well done
Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow!
Exceptionally fresh. Thanks for sharing.
Ah, yet another masterpiece by one of my favorite chain reaction artists. :)
Wow, amazing as always. Just gotta say, you have a really long hallway.
Yes I know it's screen link.
The light stand at 1:49 almost got in on the action
I saw that lol
(the collective level of love of 1.3 million viewers for your ingenuity, dedication, hard work, and creativity) == (the level of passionate fury and hatred from your downstairs neighbors during testing and filming)
The long waiting for your videos always worths it. 👌
i can't imagine pulling this off, let alone in 8 months
imagine having to rebuild those towers every time you mess up.
Beautiful screenlink. Everything was incredibly clean and elegant, (which can sometimes be difficult with dominoes/KAPLA) and we immediately clicked upon seeing the thumbnail. (As you mentioned in the video description, that bridge rocks the thumbnail.)
Felt anxious watching this for some reason
Literally nobody:
Kaplamino:

How did you spend your time during Lockdown?
Guy: ......
foa,What did u do?
This is incredible! Your creativity is outstanding, your structures are not standing!.
wow, so cool kapla tricks! i like this setup!
How do these creations not all just collapse the moment they start falling over? It's amazing how you're somehow able to control what falls over and when
1:24 9/11 flashbacks
Except this one was literally an inside job
Super brilliant!!! I believe this is a proof of progress of humanity. ♡
I CAN'T IMAGINE how satisfied you must have been to watch this after spending weeks constructing it.
This was Totally Amazing, I would love to have these Dominoes, But I don’t have them, it’s not Available in our Area :( . But Superb Screenlink :)
Do you have something like Keva ? It's almost the same
@@Kaplamino Nope, Not that as Well, Not Even Jenga, Only Dominoes, But I am still Happy with them, But I would really like to get a bit of these, have to see where to get, as in my place, India, it’s not at all Available.

@@S2Dominoes hm maybe you can tape some dominoes together haha
@@Kaplamino Haha, Will try, I do have Maximum Wooden Dominoes with a few of professional Dominoes, So I would try to tape a few Wooden Dominoes together and see, well nice idea.
Круто. Тебе нужно ещё камерой обзавестись!
Holy cow! That was literally like Antoine Crouser levels of skill in kapla!! That was amazing!! Now I am super glad that I have kapla!! Also thanks for uploading another video after 8 months!
The double inversion broke my mind. Incredible work.
I have heard the maker of these videos has software he can run to simulate practically anything with kapla blocks. Pretty interesting. You might notice the sound effects seem to repeat a bit after awhile. He seems to have the perfect sound effect for all of the major types of actions kapla blocks can do. With real blocks it seems likely there would be more missing noises in the sound due to inconsistency and the distance from the camera. I guess if the demonstrations are completely real then he has an expert sound system. Still, it would take superhuman patience to actually set these up and recover if something went wrong. I'm not sure he's a human being if he's doing them physically, and frankly he might not be as a programmer as well (for one thing, it seems to require quite a lot of work, either way. Possible, maybe, but not likely. Either it's the world's greatest expert(s) in kapla blocks or someone likely tried about 100,000 times too hard to get the right results. It might be more efficient to feature each scene as a separate demo of a physics law, maybe he has done that before)!
hm ... an interesting theory, who knows ?
It would be devastating if the guy had everything set up and ready to go, and then an earthquake comes
LOL and then a tsunami afterwards.
This never gets old.
Fantastic!!
Amazing!!
Fanny!
こういうアイデアを持つ人は実にうらやましい。
Your creative activity is amazing and your patience is astounding.
AMAZING! Blows my mind how you did this!
I've seen a bunch of domino videos here, but one takes the trophy, it's by far the most creative
One of my favorite domino videos this year!
thank you, it means a lot
The creativity is unreal in this one
こんな退屈でないドミノ倒しは初めてです。素晴らしい!!
Stunning as ever! I particularly liked the trick at 2:23 - it reminded me of the the domino trick "the detonator".
Creativity on another demension! This opened so many possibilities. Really eye opening. Never seen anything like that before.
Loved the wheel rolling and then, only then falls apart when it hits the ground.
All are amazing. Good job, great work.
Ok, there were some amazing delicalte and well balanced builds/falls included there. Thumbs up!
I have to watch this 4 times the entire day!
Really splendid and incredible! Excellent job!
Amazing is an understatement for this kind of shenanigans
