AWWW….SO HAPPY FOR YOU ALL!!!!! I am very envious!!❤️ Casablanca, Humphrey Bogart…. Envy …Envy…Envy! Gratitude for sharing!! HERE’S LOOKING AT YOU KIDS💙💙💙💙
This is my sweet heart city where i was born, where i have the most beautiful memories, where i watched the most iconic films in the nineties, films like Danses With Wolves, The Silence of the Lamb, the Mask, Awakening, Jurassic Park. It is also the city in which i will be buried hopfully because i left it 24 years ago and i still love it so much.
The food vendors on the streets were so interesting to see and your enthusiasm was contagious. Watching during a boring season of my life as we deal with health issue , so your video escapes are a welcomed diversion!
Quite an interesting place, the food in the pub looked amazing, very nicely presented. Dont think id like to drive there it looks manic! Nice to see you all enjoying yourselves 🥰
The kid popping the wheelie was great! Everything is normal and relatable. 1930 church, looks well kept. Great for you folks to be roaming around exploring. Thank you as always.
Thanks for posting! I haven’t seen Casablanca on video before. The traffic looks wild with all the unusual driving patterns. I really enjoy following your adventures, and it’s great that you have such an awesome group to travel with.
Guys have you noticed that Ambassador Lynnette glowing day in day out.I love you both guys, keep happiness, keep the love, keep the glow.Thank you for standing out and showing the world marriage truly works.I feel complete when I see you happy since been brought up never experienced complete family setup, struggles day in day out.Happy happy for you fam❤.I’ll forever congratulate you till my time is ripe as well ❤
What a great day!! ❤ The coolest thing about living on VV is you can go exploring with friends at each port! The food looks so good. The anchovies seem really big. In SE Asia, our anchovies are tiny and usually dried. They are then fried into dishes. I love anchovies. The traffic reminds me of traffic in many countries in Asia, especially SE Asia! 😂😂😂 That was a prelude to more road-crossing challenges you will encounter when you get to Asia! Oh, and do be careful because in some countries vehicles don’t stop for pedestrians at zebra crossings 😢, unlike in the UK. I was almost mowed down in some places! Thanks for a really fun video! ❤
Thank you for sharing this adventure. My goodness... I am not normally afraid traveling solo, but I sure I would have had been with a crowd walking those streets. Well, these are adventures, no one else would ever be able to experience if it wasn't for your bravery and loyalty to the original plan. Happy to see, you are all having such a great time
This time I'll have to revise myself, I actually liked the 'tourist' stuff a lot, probably because it was not filmed in the manner of a typical tourist, with shots of 'attractions' etc. 🙂

Love it! Makes me want to go to Casablanca. It seems like it's the right blend of an exotic, yet somewhat familiar place. A good place to get your feet wet for an around the world cruise. Looking forward to your future videos! Thanks.
5:45 Even more amazing is you don't see a lot of hunchbacks serving tea. This place is something else alright, don't know what, but definitely something else 13:05 Thought you were taking another shortcut to costco. Another great video, keep them coming
I enjoyed this video. I was nervous for all of you when you got off the bus and then again at the street crossings. I would definitely eant to be with a group. I was curious how many residents are currently on the ship. Doug was a trooper!
It sure wasn’t interesting experience and I think we’re about 180 people on the ship with way more coming in Barbados. And yes, Doug was a real trooper.
It did make ne smile lynette " ill hang onto Yohanne's back pack so i don't get killed" Yohan spots a gap and before Lynette can say Lynford Christie.Yohanne is alread 3/4 the way across the road :) Sorry Lynette it just made me smile smile :)
Different vibes there. So noisy in the town. Do you feel vulnerable at all in the new places? It's such an adventure for you and us watching too😅 glad you survived the road crossings...some looked a bit dodgy 😮
Well, we’re always trying to be cautious and aware of our surroundings. It was just a little dodgy getting off the bus with all the people swarming us, after that the only thing we had to worry about was the traffic.🤣
I would put that in the category of interesting stop but probably one and done. I suppose if it were not for the movie no one would bother visiting. But you dont know until you see it. Perhaps a local guide might have been able to take you to some more interesting or significant sites? Glad you made it back to the ship. Do they have briefings prior to arrival where someonewith first handknowledge shares touring ideas and history?
They do have briefings before part calls to inform us of significant sites to see. But the way we travel we also want to relax and have some fun. We can’t see every site in every city that would be exhausting.
@@jackiebrown6386also on the website people don't have to go on the whole cruise.lots of options to pick the get on and get off stops :) not quite I'll go A to B but good options none the less :)
Did 9 days in Morocco once 5 years ago, spent a few of them in Casablanca. The city is ok overall (Marrakesh and Fez were more interesting), but if you have another day go to the large King Hasan II Mosque (one of the largest in the world) It's very impressive, definitely one to see. And you can go into and see if from the inside, unlike the others. I didn't find the city dangerous, just the usual watch for pickpockets.
We were warned to be cautious, but except for the people swarming us when we got off the bus we felt mainly pretty safe. next time, we’ll definitely check out the mosque.
I was wondering if other than you and your wife and Dr V and Midlife cruising is there any other residents sharing their experiences that we can follow as well? I hope that is ok to ask.
There is one but we were told we needed reservations so we didn’t bother. Also, it was built like 20 years ago so it’s not like the original place or anything.
Lanette, you are such a lovely, bubbly virtual tour guide and I love it. I do wish you would reconsider your unwillingness to dress appropriately for the country you are in. Please reconsider the ill-fitting garments and keep the cle covered. You should see some of the looks the locals gave you. Please have some respect, and continue your safe travels. They’ll be plenty of time for spandex and cleavage in more moderate countries. Sorry for the long admonishment, but you are both so lovely, I’d hate to see you have trouble.
Hi Delilah! I actually thought I was covered up. My understanding was my shoulders and legs should be covered. I really didn’t consider my v neck 3/4 sleeve shirt to be inappropriate. I can’t promise it’ll be better in the next video that was already shot but I’ll keep this in mind moving forward. Thanks for the feedback and watching 😁
This is so cool
We had a blast!

I just googled this. Per the U.S. State Dept. as of 2021 there were 30,000 Roman Catholics in Casablanca. Thanks for the interesting video!

Be careful of the salads. A friend of mine got very sick. It’s the water they wash the lettuce s with.

Random question….do the residents have a say on which ports of call you make? Fabulous video again. ❤️🇬🇧
The full 3-1/2 year itinerary is already planned out and you can see it on the Ville Vie website.

Did you find Rick’s Cafe?
We were told we needed reservations so we went to other places.

The Kiwi Odyssey
