At no point have I ever seen homophobia for profit... Until now. While NSA may come out and say they don't like the gays, they are a branch of Saint Andrew's University, which is part of Webber International University. Webber International University has already come out and said they don't discriminate on the basis of orientation. NSA has come out and made public that they do. This is what we call ✨ grifting ✨

This is a Christian College and last time I checked they are very conservative so their stance on gays are a biblical one not a profitable one Wouldn’t this almost work against profit ? There’s a choice of schools as numerous as the choice in ice cream. Go to a secular one that teaches gender studies for profit .. it fits the political climate of today don’t u think ? @@75marklee I'm not whining. I'm pointing out a fact. When people say the Earth is round or the sky is blue, that's fact. When I say that NSA's parent organization isn't in line with NSA's established value system, that is also fact. IDK where you got the whining from, though...
Aiden Hall but u blurred fact ( parent organization not in line with baby organization ) with opinion ( homophobia for profit ) which seemed more like to me a beef u have with one of those organizations. Not to offend but I have seen that school up there in Moscow . They do what they do and I think it’s an honorable niche they have. No homophobia .
@@75marklee the school's actions are, by definition, homophobic. The school employees make money due to the funding provided to them by their students. The parent school generated a school that fell in line with homophobic values, even if those values weren't truly represented by the original school. Grifting is often used in the common vernacular to refer to a person or entity acting disingenuously to ellicit funds from another individual. The only matter of opinion is what the school's opinion really is regarding homophobia, but either way, one of the schools is acting disingenuously.
Aiden Hall ah so I understand better as to what you are saying. Not that NSA is using homophobia as a means for profit but rather the parent school because of the school it generated , NSA , is tolerated within this hierarchy . I suppose that would depend on the relationship between all the schools and what mission statement the parent schools declared ? I.e if one school stated they do not discriminate on the issue of sexual orientation and this would apply to all schools affiliated or generated from the parent school . Does this sound about correct ? I don’t think there is any using homophobia ( NSA)for profit to elicit funds in any disingenuous manner since they are a Biblically based institution to begin with .. NSA no , the parent schools possibly ? Thank u for clarifying this if this sounds on target ..
I'm a Christian, but this is a bit grandiose. Let's not forget that there are good ideas and good intentions among non Christians. We should all also be humble and keep a lookout for ways in which we could be wrong. Go ahead and disagree with non-Christians, but don't disregard completely someone from outside your group. Your specific Ch. community, your country - is not the perfect saviour of the world. I am all for classical Christian education, but dial the confidence back a bit, it looks like arrogance.
