I’m one month into my second loc journey. I’m experiencing some slippage and unraveling due to my texture. But I was misting it the first month because it’s short and that’s the only way I could tam it. But I no longer mist it. I think you may be describing bunching as budding is a normal part of the locing process. The video was very informative 💕💕I have enjoyed watching your journey 💕

Hey lady love the Intel...for the last one the term is loc bunching instead of budding... Budding is when the locs starts to form...Bunching is when the hair clumps/tangled or knots up in one place and causes the loc to be fatter or thicker in one place in which curly ends don't necessarily cause that its ur texture or type of hair that's the determining factor of that but yea no worries loc priming or keeping it braided more often will correct that issue mainly ppl with thicker looser hair textures gets that issue although with locs it's a toss up u will never know but having curly ends and not maintaining them can possibly cause bunching it's not a factor tho.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate you for breaking it down and explaining the difference. I definitely used the wrong terminology. 🙏

Hello🤗 Tbh, I’m not sure what hair type I have; however, I can tell you my hair texture is different throughout my entire head.
