I personally signed off with my multiple approval accounts as a designer and module owner when I worked at Boeing on the emergency oxygen systems on this plane, I have to admit I cried when I was on the flightline and saw the first flight. So many hours spent working overtime, this brings back memories, It's a beautiful plane.
This is so exciting guys. When the tower signalled 'clear for take off' I could feel a genuine breathtaking emotion. Our world of travel is truly amazing. Hats off to all the people who keep our skies safe and running on time for all the world.

i kept avoiding this one thinking i was not interested because it was freight not passengers, but can i say Sam this was one of the best flight vids ever! Very interesting and watching that iconic 747 take off from the cockpit was incredible. Fantastic. One the really surprising things is that the staff on this flight were as polite and genuine and lovely as the fa's on my recent long haul q suite journey from Mel to Doh. Qatar really invests in its people. Strange to think after so many 747 journeys in my 59 years that i probably won't fly on one again.

I really enjoy these videos. It says a lot about the Airline and the quality of its Services safety etc etc that they allow a civilian to have a very thorough look around how things are done. An Airline that allows this is rightly confident in the quality of everything that it does as the process is in the Public Domain via this video.
maybe its only reserved for short notice transportation, like fresh lobsters from Maine that flew into Monaco in 12 hours or something or to provide humanitarian aid to an emergency area
The cargo flight videos are actually far more interesting than the passenger experience ones. I thoroughly enjoyed that. Alberto has a very friendly smile and he reminded me that smiling more makes it a more pleasant environment for everyone else.
Actually it's stunning to know that Boeing was way ahead of the time with the 747 and it's such a beautiful aircraft. No matter it is called as the queen of the skies.
Those clouds at 15:31 are absolutely breathtaking. I fly 6-10 times a month for my job, and it never ever ceases to amaze me how gorgeous it is up there.
And on some airlines, they now have one class BELOW Economy... introducing Basic Economy. Last to board, no full sized carry on, the only carry on size allowed is whatever fits under your seat. If your bag is too big, pay a penalty plus the baggage fee.

Hi Sam...to sleep you have your foot facing the window, not like you did. So there is an easy access to the lights, mask, etc. And the seat belt to sleep is not really necessary, if it shakes so heavily rather return back to your seat.😉
