Love how the role swap still preserved their original character. Meta Knight constantly pushing himself forward for others, even if he's at his limit, Dedede being a prideful, but true-hearted king and Kirby having the energy of a young child on a permanent sugar rush
It's stuff like this that remind me of how much I want Dedede to be the main character in Kirby games. The only one we ever got was Dedede Tour from Triple Deluxe. I really wish that happened more.
Honestly when I first saw it, I thought it was Meta knight as Kirby and Dedede as Elfilin (or the other way around) and Kirby would be like Dedede in the game, where he’s being controlled, but then I saw Kirby actually being Kirby, and since Kirby stays to protect the village it means Kirby takes more of a Meta knight role, which makes sense because Meta knight takes Kirby’s role, but it also would’ve made sense for Kirby to take Dedede’s role.
WAIT, i think i get the swap now Dedede has Kirby's role Meta has Bandana's role Kirby has Meta's role and Bandana has Dedede's role, meaning that at some point Dedede is gonna have to fight Bandana
