- On 4th October, we brought you the story of Alice Njambi. Njambi had been married close to 30 years but she never knew peace. In her divorce application she cited cruelty from her ex-husband. Cruelty that resulted from constant beatings and being tracked whenever she went. The divorce was granted in 2016. But even after the divorce, Njambi knows no peace. She says that her ex-husband came to the house she used to live in, smashed all the widows and destroyed the water and electricity connections. Through your help, Njambi has been able to restore water and electricity as she awaits her case on matrimonial property to proceed. She sends you her regards and says that you, the viewer, rescued her from a 'house of darkness.'
