- I made this as a quick tribute to Charlie Watts. He died two years ago today, and was a pretty big influence on me as a player. His drumming was pretty simple but had cool style with jazz influences. I can't play anything too complicated on the drums so I love learning charlie's parts. And as a side note, he was also the best dressed stone.

what's weird is that I came to youtube today looking for this material after noticing how strange Watt's snare hits are on this song. I've listened to this song for decades and never noticed the double snare hit pattern. It really stands out once you notice it
The drummer in this video copies Charlie's drums almost perfectly. I don't know if I'll ever hear the song the same. I spent decades focused on the guitars and vocals. I completely missed the drums which just might be the reason the song stands out and is so memorable.
