We check out the Seafront, Haunted Cromer Pier, A French Themed Hotel and check out the famous Cromer Crab .Cromer is a traditional seaside resort and is famous for its pier, home to a lifeboat station and Pavilion Theatre, where the UK’s only remaining traditional end of the pier variety show takes place each Summer and Winter. The pier is an enduring example of Victorian architecture.

Back in the 19th century, the town was developed into a seaside resort by the late Victorians. Today, the streets and alleys are bustling with shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants where you can enjoy the famous Cromer crab!
In the summer, Cromer celebrates its maritime heritage with the famous Cromer Carnival and Crab & Lobster Festival. There are events throughout the year including the Cromer & Sheringham Art & Literary Festival and Folk on the Pier. Also during the summer months, a herd of Bagot goats arrive in Cromer to carry out an important habitat-management role on Cromer’s cliff. The Bagot goats graze on rough materials rather than grass, which helps keep plant growth across the area under control. A fantastic sight. Come for an evening with me

Goodness me i was 10 im now 62 when i first went to Cromer we were staying at east runton just down the road from Cromer thanks for bringing back some very fond memories 👍
I don't know but the landscape is very therapeutic (the environment seems to contribute to a healing sense of place) ... I'm pretty sure I can be at peace & feel so relaxed when I'm there. ☺
Great Video Tim! I went to Cromer on a 4 hour trip of a Sunday afternoon to get to a place I knew nothing about for work of a Monday. I got everything bang on! Stayed in the Sandcliff hotel and the job was 1 mile away! Really took to Cromer was a great destination and the best site visit I have ever done for work!!!! I love these videos of seeing it again even though it was only several months ago from when I went.

I understand the bug problem. We took my daughter to the seaside during the 1970s and there was a plague of ladybirds. Some of them were quite large and they were hitting us in the face, landing everywhere. Highly unusual.
There was a swarm of them in Sheringham 2009. I thought it was 2010 but just looked it up it was 2009. Quite Bizarre, the seafront was unbearable to walk as the were flying into hair and face

Going to Cromer next weekend now as should of gone two weeks ago but had covid but all negative now staying at the sandcliff hotel in Cromer for 2 nights going to visit sheringham and wells next to the sea and cley on sea as well when this way next week

I was there the same time as you, weeks holiday to celebrate my 50th... it's my second home, spend at least 3 holidays a year either cromer or sheringham.
Oh and I remember the flies.

Hello Tim. Thought I’d let you know. I thought your video on Mundesley was great and we booked a week here. Currently in Mundesley and found the place very disappointing. This video is just in time because we are going to Cromer tomorrow, I hope it’s better than Mundesley.

My mate lives nearby in Sheringham - always wants me to visit but it's a pain of a journey from Yorkshire given the lack of dual carriageways never mind motorways in that part of the country...stuck behind a caravan immediately after leaving the A1.
Shame the sunset is rubbish lol
