Cobain proudly included Aerosmith’s Rocks in the famous list of his top 50 albums, and Cobain and Novoselic listed both Zeppelin and Aerosmith in an ad for a drummer they placed in Seattle rock mag The Rocket. But despite the fact that it often appeared in their early live sets right alongside Zep’s “Immigrant Song,” “Aero Zeppelin” is no mere metalhead homage. Instead it’s more an early example of Cobain’s hunger to find a middle ground between the thunderous swagger of hard rock and punk’s warped idea of catharsis. Its lyrics interrogate what musical fandom means, a central preoccupation of Cobain’s, while the music twists Seventies swagger into new, angrier forms. It’s underrated by the person who counted the most Kurt himself. He didn’t like this song, after 88 the only time he played this live is when Jason Everman would get on him about it.
For those who say Kurt wasn't a great guitar player, listen to this song. It's pretty damn great. He could have gone down as one of the best, it's just that he didn't really care what people thought of how or what he played...
Swap meet and love buzz is incredibly hard to play, Everman might have written the riffs but Kurt could still play them. Aero zeppelin is fairly easy, it’s just more punk than anything so it’s very fast.
Oh my god! One of my favorite songs of Nirvana! You fuccing nailed it! I always struggled with the existing tabs, great to have your video now, maybe I can now learn it and play with guitar and violin some time!
So nice that sometimes you can't distinguish the playback from the covering. Thank you for sharing (y)our passion. Kurt will remain alive forever in our (teen) spirits as long as we'll stay alive ourselves. And probably after our passage if we manage to transmit this passion.
I mean, they aren't easy, but compared to AIC or other grunge bands, it sounds easy. But it doesn't make them worse, in fact, Nirvana is my favorite out of all grunge bands
CONGRATULATIONS that hard music I love this sound here in Brazil we play NIRVANA this band is awesome and I learned a lot from you I like the songs like paper cuts school blew ..... I had a band called Blew in 2003 our recording was bad kkk here in Brazil it is very expensive to watch it on UA-cam (blew the band) in Portuguese ok kkk once again CONGRATULATIONS
Here is my challenge can u do "Live at the Reading 92" playlist of all the musics of the show ,we will love it,I'll send the messages in all ur new vids so that you don't forget the challenge(and also u can do Gallons Of Rubbing Alcohol Flow Through The Strip, Here She Comes Now eletric version, and Love Buzz, and some Foo Fighters Covers) Thank u for the great videos Tom :)

This song always reminded me of something King Crimson would do, I guess since they have a similar combination of warped dissonance and metal riffage. Specifically the incarnation from 1972-1974, with John Wetton.
I might, but like it better when you have the song in the background. Then you can hear if I'm in perfect sync with Kurt's guitar and that includes his tone.

Especially when the song is playing and you’re simultaneously lookin at that weird alien creature on the album cover
yeah i think so
Its a fucking awesome song and the drumming is fucking perfect
It’s underrated by the person who counted the most Kurt himself. He didn’t like this song, after 88 the only time he played this live is when Jason Everman would get on him about it.

His riffs wasn't that hard and creative
He was great but not one of the greatest
No
Lol he just sucked , far from being one of the greatest
@@scarykurapika100yago2 Stfu he was great
Getting flash backs of Kurt in 1987
This will always be my favourite Nirvana song.

Look at Matt brown's channel he's teaches how to play this song and many other nirvana songs
YES! THE most underrated Nirvana song! Can't understand why they didn't include it in their live setlists.
So Tom can play guitar for the Nirvana reunion, right?
Josiemax J yes
HELL YEAH!
Dave, Krist, Pat, and Tom plus Joan Jett
Nah he didn’t even play the intro right
Cobain made a lot out of a few chords Genius

The Nirvana song -
This song is easy

@@DarkPlaysThings bro it's just fast
@@bigdawg6308 it is still hard. If you realize ,the hardest thing about solos is the tempo that you play it.
this motivated me to continue to play my guitar thanks
Приятно видеть и слышать. 5!
FINALLY! Amazing cover as usual Tom! One of the hardest sings in their discography and you nailed it man!!

Love how sharp and perfectly timed, plus passion, those chord changes are.

Brilliant job as always

this song is extremely underrated
when someone says kurt was a bad guitar player you should let him watch this video
Nobody says he is a bad guitarrist, but almpst everyone are agreed that he isn t a virtuous guitarrist, for his simple riffs and solos.
@@antonioraulpenarobles6133nah, a lot of people say he was mediocre at guitar playing

You know...I understand the solo alot better now that I see it played at GOD level speed.
clicked faster than any video ever, your wicked cool tom, have you ever done beeswax by the way? keep rocking on tom
Yeah, I've done that one. And thanks!

He plays it better than Kurt. Nice work man.
Man this song make me remember daria intro (that mtv show)
Esta erróneo el riff
Awesome cover and really love your guitar 🎸
Nice guitar solo
I have a question, how many takes do your videos usually take? Wicked cover
Usually just one, but today I did it in two. The first one was ok today, but the sound a bit off.
Tomnedreb that awesome. Much respect
Hairspray Queen y Love Buzz porfavor
Mis mas grandes respetos
Finally
gemidao do kurt
This is the good stuff :)
Te amoo
💜✌
Did you speed this up?
Wtf!? A difficult song by Nirvana? 😳👌🏻
Ya te vi pana fresco
Bueno igual extraño esos tiempos del “😳👌” y si tienen varias difíciles XD Love Buzz, Aero Zepellin, Mr Moustache y Mexican Seafood creo nomas esas
Could you please do gallons of rubbing alcohol flowing through the script or excuse please? Also, great fucking cover mate!
How do you mount your camera wherever you want. Do you have a tripod or do you something around the house to hold the camera?
pls send me the link for the guitar tab for this song
I just learned it just by watching the video
taken from Beatles Ticket To Ride
I hope that guitar was over 18...
I'm thinking of buying a distortion pedal for nirvana and punk. Should i buy the boss ds-1 or just buy the ds-2 straight away?
I don't think there is that much difference, so I guess the ds-2. Having said that, I manage with only the ds-1..
@@Tomnedreb ok, thanks
I'd go for the DS-2 because it's basically DS-1 just with the turbo feature.
@@metrokett that's what I thought too so I think i'm going to buy the ds-2
What chords you used for the song? i´m dying just to find them
Hey you ever starting a cover band, think about the feeling you’ll have playing all of his shit on stage
That would be awesome, but I live on a remote island in the northern part of Norway, so hard to find people to start a band with..
Tomnedreb Ahhh alright, wish you some luck on that definitely
Jesus fuck how do you move so fast like that?
Do you use an external mic to record this or just the camera mic?
Just the camera mic.
Ты Kurt Cobain )))))
Which song of nirvana is the hardest one to play?
Probably Love Buzz.
@@Tomnedreb i wanted to learn bleach completely but after reading this i think i'm going to learn nevermind haha
Would you ever consider doing a video without the actual song playing in the background?
I might, but like it better when you have the song in the background. Then you can hear if I'm in perfect sync with Kurt's guitar and that includes his tone.
azu nyan
Do you like nirvana,Aerosmith and led Zeppelin?
Then this is best song for you
Mostly Nirvana and Zeppelin but sure why not throw a bit of Smith into the mix \m/^_^\m/
Nice chin
The solo reminds me of blew for some reason
Which I surely have to do the studio version of..
Please do! Do you think you could do do re mi the montage of heck version?
Yeah, maybe I should do that version with the Stella.
Tomnedreb I reckon if you played it half a step down on the Stella it would sound so close to the recording
Why are you speeding your footage up ?
awesome!! I uploaded my original song called RockyNerdy, you should watch it!
Заебись
I think it's almost right but you off abit
XD
Maint riff is wrong, good cover nonetheless
