To be fair, I’ve known the project for almost a year now and I spoke to the lads and the community and they are amazing. There is so much room for improvement. I’ve gotten better results making one myself from cardboard and using water vapor, being able to see much clear lines. I also feel like the lines are a bit too high for the models, as you can clearly see that of the 4, 2 won’t even affect the model. Amazing product but it is expensive and it’s just the beggining, improvements will come💪🏻
@@nattynice12 I have videos on my channel of my project and discoveries for 1/24th scale but recently I made one from cardboard for 1:43rd scale that is the one that got better results. The smaller I haven’t posted about it but I do have a video of it working.
Look at 4:16. that’s probably how. There is a clear separation bubble behind the cockpit. The real thing wouldn’t have that. You won’t get realistic airflow due to the different reynolds numbers.
3:26 Um, actually 115 mins is not 1 hr and 15 mins. Its 1hr and 55 mins ☝️🤓 Edit: I been actually watching you for 5 years now, it's nice to see you still doing good.
Looks like the chamber actually isn't long enough to give you proper turbulance and wake detail. The exhaust fan shroud has a boundary layer in front of it that interferes with the true scale of the wake with many of those models. That or perhaps put the cars more forward in the chamber to help compensate.
@@votpavel the humidifier are just an example to understand better, the tech used are most likely ultrasonic vibrations and the fluid to make the fog is just mixture of distilled water and glycerin.
No it’s not. You can’t learn anything from it, because the airflow behavior is drastically different then on the real thing (due to very different Reynolds numbers).
i wanna get this one so badly soon 😭it looks so cool yet also effective for maybe photography but i wanna get it someday when i build my own miniature RC cars so i could test the airflow a bit on there. VERY cool
get a pc fan, a pack of drinking straws, a cardboard box, and a fog machine. Fan pulls air through the box, the bundle of straws smooth out the air, the fog machine lets you see the flow.
Bro how much is it I can't see the price on the product because I wanna know the price before I buy it please respond as soon as you can I really wanna buy this I'm not American I'm at Philippines and America's currency is greater like $1 is to ₱hp 59
The noise in the higher bands seems to actually be caused by non laminar flow in the tunnel. I imagine it’s extremely difficult to make truly laminar flow in a wind tunnel of that size and they did a really good job. But it looks more like an artifact of the design than actual turbulence caused by the upwards moving air (it’s a product of drag but drag would be what the car feels so to speak)
Average "woah, a wind tunnel for my hottwheels cars" vs Erm, actually, according to Reynolds' number, in order for a scale model to accurately simulate a full-scale model, the air must move much-much faster as a boundry layer of airflow over any object will remain laminar for a given distance depending on the speed of the air. This would mean at 60 mph, air over both a full size and a scale vehicle will be laminar for, let's say 3inches. That being the entire lenght of a hottwheels vs 3 inches on a normal car.- 🤓
Only thing id add is the emission amount to change with the speed. at low speeds it seemed like it had to much and at fast speeds to little. but still absolutely fire
It won''t be a scam but they are extremely loud considering if you want to display it. Also the smoke comming out of the back is not so nice (and maybe healthy). I have lots of questions about the smoke and about health with this product
I would love to see small spaceships in that thing. like the Naboo starfighter from star wars, as it is the most aerodynamic ship in the franchise I believe.
Nice video and awesome product! Here are a few Hot Wheels I'd like to see in the chamber: Turbolence, Chevrolator, Speed Bump, or Itso Skinny...Thanks!!
Love your take on this. I also have a much higher respect for paul after this fight. He knew from the 1st jab he could have tyson any time he chose. I believe paul when he said this was 1 of the hardest things he'd ever have to do. But his actions at the end of the fight, showing mike praise, and "bowing down" so to speak, was epic. Wonder if there will be a #2 in 6 to 12 months
Very interesting. I discovered the product surfing on Instagram but know checking how it works, I like it quite a lot. I know that one guy did something similiar, I mean the smoke, many time ago and all the comments were "hey how did you did it?" but I don´t know the name of his channel. I suggest Koenigsegg Jesko, Bugatii Bolide, Lamborghini Huracan STO, Ferrari F40/50...Thanks for sharing!
It seems like it’s VG (vegetable glycerin) which is one of the main ingredients in vape products. That sounds worse than it is cause that little of it diffused in the air inhaled on occasion isn’t really unsafe. People huff that straight into their lungs all day for years before they have adverse effects from it. You probably would inhale less VG in a year using this than vapers do in a week.
Now put a cow in it
best one yet 🗿
they actually did if you go to their website
Cow with wing, downforce
Dam you said it first
Cow with wheel 😊

did you mount a fan to the back? can you explain more how you that?
How did you make your own, do you have a video or instructions?

Well thats cz he used a WEC car (i think, i dont watch WEC) which are very low cars ofc. If you wanted to test, say a Hilus, you could.
@@tomaspatrao297 i dont see the vid... can you post a link?
Gotta try a speedtail in there
Good one! 👀
There is already a video of a speedtail by the manufacturer
@@DrifterD dude I'm not paying $200 just to buy this thing if this was at least 20 or $40 I would have bought it 👎
@@monkeyking2030I agree it is very expensive but 40 dollars for that? no way it could be below 90 dollars let alone 40
Blue comment in UA-cam 😭😭🙏
This is seriously one of the best accesories for Hot Wheels, I want to see the how the Aero Sculpt and all the Deoras will do in the wind tunnel
You got it 🫡
Look at 4:16. that’s probably how. There is a clear separation bubble behind the cockpit. The real thing wouldn’t have that. You won’t get realistic airflow due to the different reynolds numbers.
This is the most useless crap I've ever seen on UA-cam.

I need that badly!! I wanted a wind tunnel for ages now, we finally got one and it looks so good!
Where do I get it tho?

How reliable is it? How long is the product life expectancy?
It's so freaking sick🔥🔥🔥
Yes!!
More fun for hotwheel Nerds 🤓👍
ya know it 🗿
Is that wind tunnel a 1:64 scale wind tunnel?
0:49 it's a fog like from humidifier
but in himidifier you dont need anyrhing but water, here you got special oil, my rc tank also had it and it was special fluid
@@votpavel the humidifier are just an example to understand better, the tech used are most likely ultrasonic vibrations and the fluid to make the fog is just mixture of distilled water and glycerin.
Humidifier uses water, while this one uses some kind of thicker liquid
What is the liquid you add for fog, and were do you get it?
It looks amazing (It's quite expensive)
(Put a Mclaren Senna)
Good choice!
Definitely try lots of Mini GT brand cars. also maybe try aircraft!
is the fan a push or pull configuration
Good demo and review .
Is it diecast models?
One of these but for rc cars would actually be really useful
This is an educational tool. As a Hot Wheels nerd, wish it was available during my time as a child.

it’s 220 dollars tho

Stunning! New subscriber from Amsterdam.
Where’d you get the Buggati from?
I want to see the 2017 Ford GT! it has a unique body so please try it!
Flying buttress! Thats a good one
How aero dynamic is a lobster?
3:20 well the video is really nice but 115 min is not 1 hour
If you stock up on the vapour fluid and keep the airflow speed low it would make a banger decoration on a shelf
What if you put a wing profile in it?
Is the moisture any good for the red line club cars😂
You could always put it with a dehumidifier, no?
Definitely best to wipe the cars clean after using them 🙌
