Hello Jose. I'm just getting into digital photo printing. I have purchaced an ET 8550 and QImage Ultimate after watching your reviews. I know this is a year-old video, but I do have a question. I'm not seeing an ICC profile for the Paulo Duro paper on the Red River site. Was this profile something they used to offer or was this something you created for your use? Thanks.
Thanks for these vids. I am a long time Epson printer and am considering purchasing the 8550. I mostly use my current printer to print hard copy proofs of my fine art photographs during various stages of editing/retouching and prints as large as 13"x19. Everything larger is done by a local printer. Question: Do you know if the 8550 inks are comparable in quality to the Claria Hi-Definition inks. I have read that the ET inks tend to push the saturation.
Thanks Jose. Very informative. Sometime could you show how to clean the rollers/platen on the 8550?
So for the money, what are your (Jose and others) purchasing preferences in the 11X17 and 13X19 categories?

Jose does that printer have replaceable waste ink pads? I believe the ecotank office printers dont unless is a high end ecotank.
It uses a waste ink cartridge which you replace when needed. Not pads.
