Infinity Train was a series of different stories told through the lens of various characters that are brought aboard a mystical train where they must deal with their personal struggles head on in order to leave. Today, I wanted to take a look at Infinity Train, see what it was all about and why it deserves better than how it was seemingly erased from Cartoon Network, well, more specifically HBO Max.

Yes they should, we already have so little science fiction in animated properties
This was honestly one of the best western cartoons in the past decade and the poor fate of HBO Max cancelling it and then subsequently deleting it from existence is so sad. I wish it had been allowed to run its course because the creator said that he had a plan for several more seasons.
Same with Final Space all it needed was a movie or a five episode finale.
I wish at the very least they would release the third and fourth seasons on DVD.

@@topogigio7031 Wdym? Book 5 was going to be about Amelia, one of the books was going to be about an Older Tulip, and Hazel would've returned. This is just false. Also we missed out on significant development of the world. The Train itself is debatably a character (albeit in a more abstract way). The show itself is about The Train... about growth. We missed out on finding out where infinity finally ends... because everything has an end.
and all because the new owner of HBO Max is afraid of things he doesn't understand.
Infinity Train was one of the best cartoons in recent history. The fact that HBO Max decided to wipe it all away like it never existed is incredibly criminal. That show deserves way better than that.

The problem is that, it had really low merchandise potential as a show
I was so hyped at the end of Season 3. It deserved a PROPER ending cause they set up so much good story telling

I really wanna mention how amazing the main theme of the show is.
It's a for boding syfy synth tune that repeats in a steady rhythm, but slowly grows louder and faster, Just like the Wheels of a train in motion.
I recommend listening to it again and picturing that if you get the time.
I just did! So clever how Chrome Canyon slammed a bunch of synths together in the beginning to make a "train whistle" effect. Now I gotta go rewatch the Sons of the Forest trailers.

Infinity Train was a masterpiece. Why is it that networks are unable to realize just how good these shows are, I mean just look at owl house, that show was the next big thing and Disney canceled it.
They do realise how good it is, which means they have to pay the writers more they have to invest more into the show they'd have to put money into advertising and merch and then they would be reliant on the merch selling well for the show to be worth it they dont care how good a show is just how much money it makes in its first week why do you think absolute shite that people watch in the background keeps getting more seasons but shows that ask a viewer to get invested get canceld because people dont frequently binge them
Disney also admitted to REGRETTING that decision. Cancelling it that is. xD

As a tv show creator myself, it just sucks so much seeing shows like this get disrespected.
Animation is such a lot of work
A show that handled difficult topics like divorce and identity crisis better than... any other show in existence? Seriously, Infinity Train did it better and you KNOW it. And it still managed to keep you entertained!
And the way they handled the conductors trauma and grief.
I feel like identity crisis isn’t a big thing but instead something much deeper that kids and our parents themselves attempted to ignore such as family trauma and how it effects children and future generations with no end

Infinity Train is my second favorite animated series after The Owl House. It's the most unique series I've ever seen. Book 2 and 3 are my favorites. Infinity Train deserves more seasons, especially Book 5 focusing on Amelia.
infinity train is one of those shows that perfectly embody the "when you're older you understand the lyrics" troupe and it couldn't have done a better job
Yes. Season 5 was about amelia taking over the train. "Child entry point" the were referring to was Amelia being protagonist lol. They said kids wouldn't relate to her. The script is finished and there's few storyboards made and even one fully painted frame that was supposed to be in the movie.
I hope we get more Infinity Train someday. It truly is an amazing show. Thank you for making this video to help more people know about it before we all forget it.
I showed my best friend this show before it got cancelled forever. This was not deserved it was one of the few animated shows that adults can watch without it looking like crap and have good thought provoking messages.
this show was my comfort show and easily my favorite cartoon that i’ve seen in the past decade i can’t begin to express how upset i was when it disappeared
damn, I remember watching the pilot of this show and getting psyched about watching it in the future. When the show actually got made I remember watching the whole thing in one sitting because I just couldn't stop watching!

To answer the question at the end book 4 is actually my favorite. I know a lot of people in the community either agree or think it’s the weakest but let me explain myself. Ryan is a character I relate to heavily with him ignoring his problems and trying to move on as if they didn’t exist essentially making them worse and holding in feelings until it leads to an outburst and I could go on. I even had a similar relationship that he had to min gi with us being close then…not. Seeing someone like him go through his problems made me realize things about myself I couldn’t have with this show and it broke my heart when I heard it was cancelled. Hopefully it does get picked up again!

Book 3 is easily the best animated anything out there. The way it shows how Apex manipulates Hazel is great, more people should see how exactly manipulation works. And the ending is perfect, too many shows forgive villains too quickly (looking at you Steven Universe. White Dimond goes straight from committing genocides to throwing parties), but Simon being shown as irredeemable because he doesn't want to be redeemed is something more shows need. Infinity Train deserves more seasons.
I was one of those, pre tv fans... when season 2 came out, I told my ex to watch it the show from the start, catch up and us keep watching together from there... she was gone by the time season 4 dropped... and, I almost didn't hop back on the train cause of it... bur, I did anyway. I.T helped me with that hard time... just for THAT I love this show. It'll be back one day... it'll pop up, doors wide open for us to hop on and take another wild ride! I for one can't wait!
I was a teacher for at risk youth in 2020/2021 and I used Infinity Train as lesson plans. It was partly an English assignment and partly a way to get the kids to open up about personal experiences/ and working through them
People say Simon has plenty of chances to change. .Grace did. But 1 he was younger and had bigger abandonment issues and she got to look into her mind witch would have done better for him . I understand bad unfair things happen to people. But I like imagine when he went crazy he went to Face the creature and gets ☠️ by it instead of Ambushed by it

This ep of Fringe was my first introduction to the show, and I immediately new tabbed to listen to the theme song. HOLY CRAP! That tune alone makes me want to watch the entire thing!
Great analysis Jordan, I really hope this video sees some momentum shift and gets some more fans. In the meantime, I gotta see if I can find this thing somewhere.

Felt like this show could’ve gone on a little longer but it sucks they canceled this. Seriously loved this show and honestly was one of those animated shows that could’ve been as good as shows like gravity falls, TMNT 2012, transformers prime, and even avatar in terms of writing lol.
Infinity train deserves so much better, that I remember reading a comment that somebody higher up was against this show and with what happened to infinity train I believe them lol. Love your content
they seemed to hate the idea of an adult being a main character (Amelia) despite 4 protaginists being teens/ Young ADULTS!

I really don't remember why I sat down to watch this show, but I definitely remember back when only season one was out there was a full marathon on Cartoon Network (I think) that I caught a few episodes in. Episodes were short yet engaging, and it just kept coming. I found myself getting attached because, unlike those who got to start from the beginning - properly - I didn't really see the serious tone this series starts off with. It was just a really charming but seemingly random series, but the kind of random that has depth to it. Not the kind that's always played up for comedy, but still funny in it's own unique, quirky way.
A few episodes after I started, it revisits the divorce theme and then shortly after there's something unexpectedly dark. That was when I realized there was definitely something special here.
I really enjoyed the experience, and even went out of my way to pick up the episodes I missed during the marathon.
I... accidentally watched the season from beginning to end for the second time.
I haven't watched the latest season (or 'book, rather) but I followed the series pretty closely after that and watched the new episodes as soon as possible whenever a new book would drop.
It's really exciting to know there were more plans for this series, but it's also heartbreaking to see something so passionate and unique shut down for the sake of profit/a tax write-off/whatever.
I hope it'll make a return some day, but at least I know there's one more book for me to engage in and check out that will be new for me.
(And while I don't recommend starting anything serious like this partially through, I'm glad I missed the first few episodes because it left such a lasting impression on me.)
Everytime this show gets talked about my heart breaks a little bit more it has so much potential and died because of corporate greed 💔
Coincidentally I finished the whole series in 3 days this week. I was shocked and sad to find out there wasn’t a continuation 😢. Also season 4 kinda felt empty compared to the other seasons which I found weird.
Yeah. I think it would have been great as a middle season. It was pretty predictable but still good. But since it became the finale for the show, it's really disappointing.
From what I heard season 4 was supposed to be more of a reprieve for the audience since the last season was so heavy.

The action in the show is so good, and I was hooked from the first couple episodes. tragically, I only had a couple episodes left before it got pulled and I was devastated.
Infinity train is a love letter to the Golden age of cartoon network, nickelodeon, disney etc. This caught me by surprise and it is a highly underrated gem
It's so annoying when airheads like WB Discovery's CEO just axes this and many other great cartoons for reasons and worst part it backfired like everyone expected.
Jeez this show is an amazing thing and it's so sad to see how everything went but hopefully we'll see anything on a future.

I can't get over the fact its gone
One of my favorite shows of all time. I grew up watching 90’s and early 2000’s cartoons but this show was stellar. I saw the pilot when it first released and have followed since. It’s horrible that it was cancelled, CN, HBO, Warner, whoever decided it wouldn’t do well is crazy. I sincerely hope it comes back, I think more adult theme seasons would do especially well on something like Adult Swim.
Devastated that a spectacular show like this that had so much love from both its viewers and its creators was unceremoniously cancelled and them wiped from the internet by a greedy megacorporation.
I would sell David Zaslav’s soul to have all his changes be undone in addition to Megas XLR and Sym-Bionic Titan being saved from write-off hell
That or have Anonymous hijack WB Dsicovery and mess everything up for Zaslav, especially if they took control of the channels to air all the show’s screwed over by Zaslav 24/7 on Discovery’s channels.
I hope Zaslav keeps bulldozing everything in his path until there isn't a hint of woke crap left on HBO. You go ahead and sell your own soul.
I never knew it made the jump to HBO Max! Seriously, I only saw the CN episodes, and even then horribly out of order (I saw the same few eps over and over... and could never catch the season 1 finale). Please tell me they're offering this collection on DVD somewhere?! I'd LOVE to catch up!
I don't know if the comment section is the best place to recommend something, but I have incredibly fond memories of The Secret Show and all of its craziness and layers upon layers of weird when I was younger. Maybe it would make for a good video
This is a masterpiece of a show, I didn't realize they just deleted everything. I never watched the final season. Really need to find physical copies of this so I can rewatch it.

This is going to be a long one, so buckle up. I've known about Infinity Train for a while now. Ever since a UA-camr called Vailskibum94 mentioned the show in one of his videos, I've been invested in the show. I watched the pilot and loved it, and I one day hoped for the show to get greenlit. I was so happy when it finally did, and even though I didn't have cable, I managed to watch it through random uploads on UA-cam. As for season 2, I skipped it for whatever reason. But when season 3 became available on HBO Max, I watched it before the season 3 premiere and ended up liking both. Once season 4 came out, I remember staying up until like 5 a.m. to watch all of the episodes. I'm very disappointed with Warner Bros. for canceling the show. It was a wonderful show that tackled very serious topics while still being enjoyable. Hopefully, Owen Dennis will be able to finish it someday. Before I go, I want to say Simon and Grace had a small cameo in the background of the season one finale. Alright, that's all. God bless.

Honestly really liked season 2. The whole identity crisis, running away feeling, and the one scene with the train wheel, it was metal as f*ck, no pun intended. Plus I also have a little brother and am a little brother, so Jesse's story hits close to home. I both have been the annoying little brother, but also be the one annoyed by their little brother and mock him with my friends. It's such a weird thing we did. Looking back on it, we see where we wrong with it, but understand we were young, and it didn't damage our relationship as brothers. Also, that ending scene with the lake. Beautiful.
Infinity train was my favorite show I love the stories arc. The mirror tulip arc was my favorite and her theme song was really great. It’s a damn shame they cancelled such a great show
This show was so good. Warner media made a huge mistake giving this series the axe. If I had the money to do so. I would totally fund another season of this show.

I really wanted to see Amelia's character arc. Seeing her come to terms with her grief is going to give me hope for grief in my own life.
I am grateful for what we have, though. Such a beautiful show. I really hope it goes back onto streaming someday so that more people can see it.
One of my favorite shows! I remember watching the pilot years ago. And then I watched each season as it came out. A beautiful show and most people have never even heard of it. I’ve told many of my friends to check it out and they’ve gone to show even more people. I really hope one day they can release more seasons.
I remember reading that Owen Dennis mentioned in an Instagram story that a plan for another season was going to take place in the early 2000’s. Which I think would have been a fun timeline. :)
Sadly I found this show Soo super late that when I took like a week break and came back it was literally no where to be found. So I guess I will never know what happens to Allen Dracula....

I remember seeing the pilot for this show years ago on YT and got so excited to eventually see it as a series. Unfortunately, it never became until years after I stopped watching Cartoon Network/Nick. Too bad it came to late. I definitely would’ve been a fan.
If this show ran on cartoon network with ads it would have got so many more seasons only reason it didn't is because its already made its money by getting people to buy the service so they're not going to keep something good going if its not going to keep making them as much money as it used to because the people who love it have already payed for the service if it had ads then that would be justicaton to keep it going because then peoples engagement in the show would sell the advertising and make it profitable for the network to keep making the show but no it had the curse of being a good show on a streaming service so they had to cancel it because its no longer profitable to make something thats actuall good
I was so sad to find out this was cancelled, such a good show, it has so much potential to continue telling deep meaningful but also fun stories. Hope it makes a return in some way or another.
I absolutely fell in love with Book 1 and was full on for 2 and 3. Book 4 though, was just REALLY bad. It's such a shame the show got ended the way it did, with that being how it leaves off.
Infinity Train reminds me of a youth residential treatment facility: locked away in an unfamiliar location, with a personal treatment plan, enacted by strange staff and surrounded by unfamiliar peers, with your progress tracked through a number point system, with assigned group treatment tasks led by staff and eventually, when your plan is completed, you are discharged (you get to go home)
Only differences is it's on a train.
this is probably the best cartoon network show ive ever seen, or at least the best unfinished cartoon network show, id really love to see this show get revived, but as of now, its nowhere near happening, if it'll ever
Honestly, this is one of the best shows to come out in recent years, and it really sucks that it got screwed over.
My favorite season might be 3, but I always have a high fondness for the beginning of something, so season 1 could also be my favorite.

This show had one of the coolest premises I've ever seen for a cartoon. It is a massive, massive shame that it was canceled. I hope to God one day it gets picked back up and they can finish out the series, or at least make a feature-length movie as a finale.

I'd like to highlight that the time on the train passes 1:1 with the real world.

I wanted to watch this but it wasn't on the platform my family subscribed to and we can't afford to subscribe to all of them just so we never miss out on any great shows that are definately going to get canceled anyway.
I remember seeing in on Hbo Max and being like „omg! I wanna watch it! I’ve been hoping to see it for so long and now I can watch it!” But then I had problems at school and didn’t get to watch past season 1.
And it was gone. Everywhere.
I remembered today, hyped myself up a bit about seeing my favoirite characters and now im sitting here upset that I missed on something so, so beautiful and amazing .

The 3rd season had the main characters as 18 year olds and Hazel was barely in it, the child point of entry really doesn’t make much sense

"Cancellation isn't the end"... What Time Warner did was a BIT more than cancelling it... They expunged it from their library and set up a paywall they'd have to get past before they could even CONSIDER spending money to make more.
I hate how the higher ups at HBO max think that animation isn’t a real medium for tv and movies so they think it’s ok to ax great shows like this and think oh it’s just a kids show no one will miss it, like it’s so messed up

Seasons 1-3 were amazing but I was so turned off by season 4. The solution to their problems seemed ham fisted and borderline co-dependence? The first 5 or 6 episodes of that season felt like they didn't even matter to the character progression. Felt like completely different writers to me than the rest of the show
