Arena has always been my main mode, got around 3k games on it i think, and yeah i've gotta agree the map sucks. The constant 5v5 in such a big open space just makes it hard to initiate on any close range characters. I think another objective would make it more fun for sure, just to force more fights.
Also no walls sucks for characters like janus and clio ;-;

@@chibuikeodibeli2232 The casual nature of it, and how fast paced it is! There's no farming and there's less of a reason to play passively, so you can fight way more! I find that really enjoyable! ^_^

That slyv is a fucking nut. Some of the pulls he were hitting were God like. I wish I had supports like that.
I've adopted the mast mindset and it has improved my game considerably.
Just saying "please" as you fire an ability gives it an additional 7.44% chance of hitting.

Slash is arena with lanes. People will lose a whole lane to chase down a guardian
Sometimes there are arena events where there are instant-death pits around the map (which is hilarious on any character who can move enemies, like Herc, Anhur, etc...). I tend to play that more often when it's available than typical arena. The small, circular map seems to be part of the spirit of the mode. Some walls and/or objectives could certainly be a good change. I'd probably try it as a temporary mode and make it the normal mode if players seemed to like it more.

I’d have to somewhat agree with you on that Mast. I personally also hate arena but just for its game mode like I don’t mind the map just cause I spend most of my time practicing my jukes for stuff like that so I can adjust to any situation no matter what mode I play. I just think that there is more fun to be had playing a game mode like conquest where even if I’m getting absolutely ran down on it just makes for a great comeback arc mid game. Same story for if I’m the one running it down on them I just feel like I’m the destroyer of that persons lane and they have no clue what to do about me but have the full team attack me and I love those battles being out numbered and still coming out that fight with a kill or even a wipe.

Making the Big Minion in Arena operate like a Wild Juggernaut in old Siege Mode would be kinda spicy, or there could be a neutered version of FG in the center of the map kinda like Apophis.

As a frequent participant of arena I think to REALLY spice things up they should consider other various shapes. Maybe a octagon or hexagon, or I'm thinking way out of the box here, a square. I know these views may be radical for the typical arena enjoyer but I think it's what we need to really change things up.

Arena should be a big circle. It's just teamfighting in its most basic form. However I wouldn't mind some more intricate side jungles and I think there should be some extra incentive to actually fight and push the opponent to their base. The arena juggernauts are not enough when both teams refuse to initiate.

Arena is fun, but like you said the lack of any actual map (and very few really walls) make some kits utterly useless, or at least makes them feel meh at best (gilg* kick for example).
Arena with lanes would be fantastic, crank up the gold spooling and speed up the games

As long as arena stays the meathead brawl mode where I can build full damage Ares and not get flamed for it, I don’t care what the map is like. It’s a great mode to play when I’m playing solo and don’t want to think too hard
All gods are pretty good.. it's all circumstantial. Nobody thought Tyr was good until Death walker got the 4 man knock up for the game win in the summer tournament. Don't let anyone say your gods are shit.

Clash was better than slash for sure. The map was waaay cooler, and I preferred the art style even though they are both themed the same way. But i still play slash over conq because i dont have to keep up with the farm pattern metas which is very nice.

If you want to have some real fun there, do a 60% CD tank Baron, the 3 is like 4s cooldown and the ult 36s, noone can fight you and the team

I personally think the arena map is fine, it's just that there r the fun games where ppl r clearly just playing casually and dicking around fighting the whole time, and then the meta sweats who obviously just play the most broken stuff.
Did they Buff Tyrs attack speed? I swore a couple seasons ago it was not that quick.

My personal opinion on arena is that it's a fun game mode with a boring game design. If it had like two side lanes with the buffs and the center was HUGE mid lane instead of FAT circle it would be fun. It would make characters like Loki and the Morrigan more viable
I want assault with the arena map, no max cold, no max level or some weird thing. I want random gods with no tower camping and just some fun tdm style of play. tired of fighting the aphro into Ares and 2 mages dumping their ultimate lol
I really enjoyed the Olympics Arena map they did a few years ago where there was a run track that made you faster. that was different and fun an added alil flavor to the mix. I person HATE the arena map where you push people into a hole -_- boring asf but I would like to see them try to do something with the area map, maybe the 4 pillar will randomly wall off every minute or so but I do think the arena map needs to become smaller
Arena needs a change. It's really annoying when the enemy team just clears the minion wave and stays near thier fountain all game.

As an arena “main” I hate the map. A couple objectives to play for would be great along with some more walls that can create space for assassins to actually be useful.

Slash does clap cheeks and I historically hate everything that isnt Arena and Conquest. And it seems unfair to call a mode that once had a Ranked Queue the most casual, and not Assault. Assault is def the most casual. Arena is a lot of fun, the map could be better, but how do you realistically improve its geography with out sacrificing its character?
I think the Arena map should be changed a bit. I find it a bit too bland, which is why I don't really play it much.

Arena map kinda boring, i mean its so vanilla thats where they throw anything on to make it funky. Arena with water, holes, zoomy area. Also glyphs should be on less bought items because they balance it out. Honestly could do with less items with character passives and filling out item trees.

Arena’s fine the way it is imo, it’s a just a mode to turn your brain off for 15 minutes. We play it once every couple days to take a break from sweaty conquests and sometimes sweaty slash’s lol
