- Nikki sits down with spiritual teacher, Moojibaba, to share her journey through Atma Vichara/self-inquiry and Love. He then walks her (which means 'you'!) through The Invitation, a series of simple questions meant to immediately dissolve the one seeking answers, seeking more, seeking 'next'. He says, "I feel that all beings are destined to wake up, to find God", and that, "in everyone, the Perfect Self is there, already. It cannot be improved upon. It needs only be discovered." And in this episode, you'll do just that, abiding as That, eternally.
Simply do this:
Ge still, and lay aside all thoughts of what you are and what God is;
all concepts you have learned about the World; all images you hold about your self.
Emoty your mind of everything it thinks is either true or false, or good or bad,
of every thought it judges worthy, and all the ideas of which ot is ashamed.
Hold onto nothing.
Do not bring with you one thought the past has taught, nor one belief you ever
learned before from anything.
Forget this world,..., and come with wholly empty hands unto your God.

As eyes open, nothing has to change- cease perceiving “things” as things. Nothing has changed. Yes, as Mooji states, not affected - no difference. Ahhh!
I don't believe we are ever away from God. It's just that we experience different frequency wavelengths of God. Eg. Longer wavelengths, which have bigger peaks and valleys, only 'seem' farther from God. It's the more turbulent energies of the same God. Stop seeking love and joy, and just be, live your experiencial journey. Just follow your ' interest/s', until you lose interest. Then follow the next best interest/s. But never expect love and joy to be a part of that, as if that determines the success of those interests. Just let the interests be what they are, as it's 'own set of interests', curiosity and intrigue for yourself. When we get stuck on life having to feel like love and joy in a specific way, we thus lose those interests for what they are trying to show us. Which have there own unique kind of love and joy. Which probably won't be shared by most other ppls ideas of love and joy. The main thing is, whether 'you' can live with yourself, infused in whatever interests you're involved with. Don't carry on, if you truly feel you have had enough. Because then you would probably lose that sense of love and joy, once the interest and learning curiosity is no longer there, or needed anymore.
