Take a walk with me along the fabled Cliff Walk in Newport, RI. See the Newport mansions while walking along the Atlantic Ocean on a beautiful fall day. We will walk the full length with no music and only the sounds of nature around us.

Ah yes, this is just the kind of walk I enjoy~ sweet mansions, one by one, lining the hillside on the right, with a sea of love sparkling on the left, all, while I enjoy music from the 1930's! 👑 Life is good at the top!

Had many an opportunity to enjoy the Cliff Walk while I was stationed at COMCRUDESLANT (Commander Cruiser Destroyer Force U. S. Atlantic Fleet) from 1967-69. Such a beautiful and peaceful location.

Thank you for recording this! I was just there a couple months ago and had to take the detour cause of the erosion that happened last year, so I’ve never been able to walk through that area, but your video made me feel like I was walking it!

Yes I did watch that yesterday very nice! Also the mystic Connecticut. But cliff walk is my favorite. I have an Instagram NewportFlavors devoted to my love of Newport.

I hope the people living in these homes know how to appreciate them and this place for the grand spirit exuded here. I'd hate to think it's just a show of wealth and nothing else.

This is a very interesting place. Did you know that the rocks beneath your feet, as you walk along this area, are 300 million years old and they contain plant fossils that scientists find richly, fascinating? Just imagine, these, are the very rocks that have been here, along this shoreline, for hundreds of millions of years!

This is a beautiful walk. I was there in person April 2022. I highly recommend the cliff walk.

Try to walk it during high tide. As this film shows there are sections that get eroded and can be difficult to cross.
