Welcome to the Stencilease.com Football Field Marking Kit explainer guide. Stencilease’s Football Field Marking Kit comes with everything you need to mark a regulation football field with 72” tall numbers, letters, arrows, and hash marks. Stencilease also offers 48” or 36” number kits for your football field marking needs and requirements.
The hash mark stencil comes in 2 pieces and can be made of either 125 mil or 60 mil LLDPE (Linear Low-Density Polyethylene) material. We recommend duct taping the two halves of the hash mark stencil upon arrival. To use the hash mark stencil, simply lay it down between your yard lines before marking with paint. The edge of the hash mark stencil makes an exact 4 inch gap from the sidelines. We also offer the hash mark stencil on a continuous sheet of 10 mil mylar material, but most professionals prefer the heavier LLDPE stencil material.
The Football Field Marking Kit stencils will arrive curled up in a box. Before use, let them flatten out on the ground. We recommend a parking lot on a sunny day as the heat will help the stencil material flatten out quickly. This stencil kit comes in 9 pieces: the numbers 0 to 5, the letter G, an Arrow, and the Hash Mark Stencil. If you don’t have access to line marking equipment, we recommend using the Krylon inverted marking wand and temporary marking chalk. It will take several cans of paint.
Our industrial use stencils may be stored flat or rolled back up and stored in their box. Paint will clean easily off our stencils after a soak in water using a nylon bristled brush.
