And I can see him wanting to look, but being afraid to, and then hearing a stir at first, that quickly grows to loud cheering, and he looks and still can hardly believe it. He can let go of his past; he realizes his bad choices and terrible mistakes did not cost him the relationship with the person he loves. Even after three years. This song reminds me of my brother just getting out of Menards penitentiary
My family loved this song when I was a kid. My mom had the sheet music and would play it on the piano and dad and I would chime in singing❤
I've been looking for this song for years and now, finally, I've found it. pure joy 🤩🤩
Love Him! Saw Him and Dawn in CT. Mohegan Sun. Farewell Concert!!
What a song! I can't believe that Tied Yellow Ribbon Around The Ole Oak Tree will celebrating fifty years: 1973-2023! I can for sure that Greyhound bus got a free advertising in video right here on UA-cam Channel! Thank you Tony Orlando and Dawn for a wonderful song after all these years later for sure!
Huge hit in summer of 73 played everywhere crossing multiple age brackets .

Germany.. first english lessons in school. I was about 10 years old
We got the choice between two songs to translate them into german.
The one was Sweet - Fox on the run, the other was this one..
Sweet, for me, was way much to "hard" in this time (it changed a bit later ;-) ), so I voted for the yellow ribbon and I am still getting a smile in my face when hearing it. ❤
Had to have this classic. Remember listening to this with my grandparents in the 70's. 9-23
This song has an exhilarating and perfect rhythm that makes it and never boring.
I still listent to this music in my 60s and living in Algeria now.

Greatest 'pop song' of all time 😊

War times. True deep meaning in these songs.
Man I was a kid hearing this. Oh the memories 😊
What a wonderful song. 50 years ago; and, still better than anything on the radio today.
Brought back good memories 😊
I had the pleasure of meeting Tony escorting him as part of security. He did not know me but, he put his arm around me and told me a few cool stories of Sammie and Frank. As a man who grew up listening to Tony it was way past cool.
