I've covered it. It was easy. Of course it was my voice and sounded like holy shit, but I did it. And I realized that's why I'm not the lead singer and I just play bass with some backing vocals. Also it was years ago and I'm not in a band anymore but I miss the hell out of it. Good day to you...
He knew what he had, the music they were making, he knew the world just had to catch up to his vision. He may not have got the perks of success, but Brad KNEW the world was inevitably gonna love their shit.... it was only a matter of time. He died KNOWING his sound was right and he'd be proven so eventually. Ive always kinda hoped he died with his mind at peace and not doubting his vision. Today, after seeing the crowd reactions from that last tour, Im sure of it..... he HAD to know he was about to be proven right finally- it was OBVIOUS to everybody from the response!!
Not a lick of auto tune. (Well it was long before auto tuning). But talk about a complete singer putting it all into that Neumann microphone. You can’t lie to a Neumann. It hears EVERYthing.
@@LilChay Nah your music teacher isn’t dumb. Just a little off. What Nirvana did, well really it was Butch Vig, they used a very early version of ProTools and resampled a lot of the snares and bass drums on Nevermind so it would sound more consistent. But it wasn’t what we know as auto-tune.
I don't practice Santeria, I ain't got no crystal ball Well, I had a million dollars but I'd, I'd spend it all If I could find that Heina and that Sancho that she's found Well, I'd pop a cap in Sancho and I'd slap her down What I really want to know Ah, baby, mm What I really want to say I can't define Well it's love that I need Oh, my soul will have to wait 'til I get back and find Heina of my own Daddy's gonna love one and all I feel the break, feel the break Feel the break and I got to live it up, oh yeah huh Well, I swear that I, well I really want to know Ah, baby, what I really want to say, I can't define That love, make it go, my soul will have to Ooh, what I really want to say, ah baby What I really want to say, is I've got mine And I'll make it, yes, I'm going up Tell Sanchito that if he knows what is good for him He best go run and hide Daddy's got a new .45 And I won't think twice to stick that barrel straight down Sancho's throat Believe me when I say that I got something for his punk ass What I really want know, my baby Ooh, what I really want to say is there's just one way back And I'll make it, yeah, my soul will have to wait Yeah, yeah, yeah
+Scott “buda0687” Bennett i haven't tested this yet, but if i read right it seems as though using roland rmix software you can pull specific tracks from songs such as vocals. but this was in combination with a usb record player that could record the record tracks to digital format, not sure how it owould work with regular mp3s etc
bradley nowell santeria cantava muito pena que perdemos ele muito cedo na sua carreira como músico em 1998 eu escutava muito está música no Brasil saiu uma música do tribo de jah que era uma cover dele
Absolutely beautiful. "She said you're not the only one but you're the best Bradley, buh buh"
Ramona please step back
I absolutely love this! You can hear every beautiful nuance.
I would say this is one of the hardest songs to cover vocally..
Anthony Savedra i can do it
nathan macedo cool

@@ethanlovesthe182 I'll listen to Cemetery gates now

Wow, this is amazing. Love isolated vocal tracks.
That's quite haunting!
Wow, this is beyond me... I can't go back to just the song
This voice I can’ define
ART!!! 👊🏻👊🏻
Why’d he have to die? Poor guy never got to see the success of this album. Imagine what great things they could have done after this. Makes me so sad.
It’s so sad, just like all the other overdoses but with brad he really never saw what his last work had become.
@@xboys_archive they were the perfect band for California, I miss him so much even though I wasn’t alive when all that stuff happened.
why? unfortunately he couldn't stop using drugs.

Absolutely 100% agree, so sad
Fuckin beautiful
I found it in a torrent of separated music tracks from the game Guitar Hero World Tour.
Thank you so much
GORGEOUS!!
Incroyable 😏
i love how the thumbnails subtly hint the musician in question
I just wept.
Even with the vocals only, I still hear the misheard lyrics
Fabulous

Auto tune was used way before this by the way
@@LilChay Nope. Antares didn’t create the auto-tune plugin until late 1997 for ProTools v24 for the 24 bit update.
This song came out in early 1997.
@@patton303 well my music teacher is dumb then. (I’m not being sarcastic) he told me that nirvana used auto tune and other bands too. My bad

There is absolutely autotune at 1:29

Not me, my dexterity is shit for solos 😂
Yep!

you can also use Audacity to do it somehow, which is free.
