What do you use to secure the 2x6 boards that run between the outside of the boards as support?

What big bolts did you us for the 4X4? I see you don't have them in until the middle of the video 2:48 / 4:49

I used some long galvanized bolts that were long enough to go through the 2 by and 4by4 wood, with nuts. I also used some additional lag bolts for additional strength with flat washers and lock washers. The lag bolts are a lot easier to install.

Not a carpenter here but would like to make simpler version of this . My problem is I have no idea how do figure out roof (pitch, etc) . I have not found a UA-cam vid that can help me. Tips?

I would say take a look at the video at 2:06. This gives you an idea how I did the roof on this playhouse. It is a pretty simple design. Put in a vertical board first to set top of the roof. Run a couple boards horizontally at the top of this to create a ridge board. Then the roof rafter boards just run off of this. I hope this helps.

Sir a few questions as I’m going to be tackling this project soon.
1 did you use lags screws to secure board to posts (4x4s)
2 the boards used for floor are they beveled, if so what are they called and are they found in local hardwares?
3 being that it’s not cemented to ground, would you say it wobbles being that it’s 4’ wide

Where did you get the slide, telescope, steering wheel and rock wall handles?

I'd like to do this and make the platform 6x6 and open covered with a canvas roof. Can this basic layout still be used? Would additional vertical supports be necessary? I subscribed!

Thanks for subscribing! You should be able to build it with the same 6 vertical posts. I would add joist hangers on the floor joists for some addition strength.

What lumber did you use for the 2x4's? is it pressure treated?

In the beggining of the video did you use something to hold the 4x4s since they are not going into the ground?
Or was it just the 2x6s that are holding the frame together?

Hi. Its just the 2x6s that are holding the 4x4 posts in place when building the structure. I first placed the 2x6s in place with screws to make it easy, then went back and put in lag bolts to make it stronger. Please subscribe!

How much did this cost to build?

Including the cost of the slide and other accessories, I think it would be in ballpark of $900 for materials.
