In constantly dissing Bowie in the 80's, we're disregarding one of his very best live concert tours... At the pinnacle of his talents as a premiere stage performer, his beauty was also a rival to Presley as Rock God
I saw this tour in 83 when I was cynical about arena/ stadium tours and this is the best in that category I ever saw. Stones/Ozzy/Rush/Who sucked compared to Serious Moonlight. Glass Spider sucked.
Saw that tour at BC Place in Vancouver. Best concert I ever saw. Bowie and his band were perfection. The stage show fantastic and David himself with that amazing voice and his suits!
Bowie just exudes talent. Everything he does. They way he moves, dances, sings and entertains. He is a true entertainer. Im just disappointed i never saw him live.
I can’t stop listening to this version! How does it not have more views?? I love the intro and throughout and so pure his singing! The occasional stereotype Bowie twang haha but love it
This is one concert I regret not getting to see. 9 months pregnant when he was in Hershey, Pa and was worried about going into labor. His voice on this tour is the best it’s ever been. I love his live performances on this tour. I have always been a huge fan of his since Ziggy Stardust days and still am.
I was there, a thousand miles from the stage, and I barely remember any of it...I think we had indulged prior to going...now I have to watch this video & kick myself for not being clear-headed enough to enjoy it properly!!!
Bowie shud've played at the Olyimpics opening, I saw Annie Lennox and was like where the fuck is Bowie!?!? Hes music God and I wish he was my dad lol :))
For those you too young to remember the man you know as David Bowie was born David Jones. But he didn't want to be confused with Davy Jones of the monkeys. Even though we said he liked their music. And he was a big fan of Mick Jagger. Jagger sounds like dagger and Bowie is a big knife. So he chose the name David Bowie. And became a rock and roll legend and the rest is history.
Recorded NEC? The concerts were at the Colosseum and Pacific Place. Two separate concerts in Sept and August. I worked security at th front of the stage at the Colosseum. Was very happy to see these videos :)
The man owned every stage he stepped on, amazing
So true 👍

Let’s Dance was/is a fantastic album. One of his best
1983
Perfectly stated. He had his finger on the pulse of every decade. This was the 80s. He looked and sounded beautiful.

Try listening to the Montreal concert in July 1983...much better mix and the band played better too.
Because he was a paedophile with fascist sympathies who was musically bankrupt?
The video now has 111k views so that's loads
So glad I saw him live at Glastonbury 😊

So strangely cool so Bowie 🤗
What an icon. We were blessed to have him 💖
Saw him 3 days earlier in Anaheim, CA. for the 1st time with MADNESS & THE GO GO'S opening!! Saw him again in 87 in San Jose, CA.
I came here for the posing... SO GOOD ...only Bowie xxx
Great singing by Simms brothers again. Love Alomar's tuning here. Brilliant intro theatrics by Bowie.
anyone listening 2018? David Bowie The best performen ever
2019. Have to disagree, on the best performer ever, though. My vote is for "Weird Al" Yankovic, all year.
1983
2024. Bought the album on release day 1976.
the man with the golden voice, god i adore him!
The coolest man alive at one time.
in the prime of his life ... Owning every second of it like no other.
From the epic "Station to Station" when Bowie mixed German-ish sounds with Disco. Everything about this concert was cool. I was there in 83
Wow thank you for sharing this... i was there and I even see me and my boyfriend in front dancing :)
That’s so cool.
One of his best songs.
This is my fav Bowie and of coure Siggy era!
David Bowie... Eternal Legend!
I was there, a thousand miles from the stage, and I barely remember any of it...I think we had indulged prior to going...now I have to watch this video & kick myself for not being clear-headed enough to enjoy it properly!!!
It was recorded at the Pacific Coliseum @ the PNE.

First time hearing this, it was awesome, thanks for sharing
My soul was dragging, out of breath, blind to the light
Then I clicked, and suddenly
He brought me back to life!
It must have been an "Honor" to have performed with this ever so talented gift from the Heavens...
Bowie shud've played at the Olyimpics opening, I saw Annie Lennox and was like where the fuck is Bowie!?!? Hes music God and I wish he was my dad lol :))

I agree
best station to station song ong
Fine duk makes me dance with the big boys
Damn!
No one dissed 80s Bowie more than 80s Bowie. He hated it.
The visuals beat the audio on this video.
Giant! x
whop whop whop
NEC is like an aboriginal college, i believe it was recorded at the Pacific Coliseum jus so u know
Noticed he’s doing a lot of his songs in a lower octave.. is this the tour after he’d taken a 5 year hiatus?
He definitely can't do much with the high notes here, lol. Too many cigarettes, I guess.
1983
2019 anyone?
Crazy thing is, he was under an avalanche of cocaine that he doesn't even remember recording the album. 🤯
❤
Carlos Alimar on guitar 🎸 🏴🇦🇺
There's Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, and David Bowie !!!
Enough said...
Blueprint for Madonna`s shows.
Carmine Rojas🍻
Looks like the Village People.
Odds he had 40 asian teens at his hotel room hat night?
a cover performance following his too early passing: ua-cam.com/video/Z9XW4pO2FrY/v-deo.html
Only 36 & he couldn't hit the notes, very sad. I'm 60 and I hit them every weekend like a lot of good musicians still do in their golden years.
piss off
Yes, there are lots of good accountants out there ;)
@@islingtonfreenewsmedia I'm not an accountant, but unlike Bowie, I can sing OUTSIDE of the studio.
1983
