Paraglider Gin Carrera Plus Full Stall

So, people have given me a lot of grief for not taking an SIV Clinic and having flown paragliders for almost 4 years. Unfortunately the classes are $900 which is a little tricky to swing for a college student. Rather than continue to fly my wing in thermic XC conditions without knowing my wing 100% I have begun working on SIV maneuvers myself. I am currently flying a Gin Carrera Plus.
This video shows my second ever full stall. I felt I was at a safe altitude and flew out over the Boulder LZ in case I had to throw my reserve I could land on softer grass.
The recovery was not as smooth as I had hoped for. I think the thermic conditions added another dimension to the recovery. I first stalled the wing and attempted to hold it in the full stall. When attempting to recover the wing i felt the wing surge to the left side and i instinctively pulled a little right brake which put the wing into a helicopter. After attempting the recovery from the helicopter, the wing surged and i just missed catching the collapse.
Moral of the story, I need donations to take a real SIV clinic!

man at least you could have watched some full stall tutorials before you do it all alone on land in thermal conditions. you have a lot to learn and try to do your maneuvers above water.

Sorry for the late reply! It was the one that went to 105kg. I was at the top of the weight range.
