Ash's Incineroar like I've been saying many times who @ first didn't trust Ash was raised by Stoutland then had a rivalry w/Professor Kuku's Incineroar & later became the ace of Ash's Alola team even its relationship it had w/Ash, Stoutland, Professor Kukui, Incineroar, Rowlet, Lycanroc, Naganadel, Melmetal & the rest of Ash's Pokémon from Professor Oak's lab!
Imagine if Ash caught Krookodile as a Sandile early on during Unova then it would've gain more development becoming a powerhouse!
Maybe he would've even used it against Cameron in that scenario XD

It's a shame we never got to see whether or not Krookodile would lose his confidence if he lost his glasses like he did when he was a Sandile and a Krokorok.
With shades like that I bet they give him the power to let his claws pierce the heavens
The true uncrowned Ash ace of Unova. Had they handled the B&W anime better he would've become one of Ash's most iconic Pokemon. Him and Oshawott carried all the personality in Ash's unova team.
In terms of personality There was pignite and snivy too
Definitely, so close to greatness, yet falls short of the Ultimate Team imo
I would argue Scraggy also had personality.

Honestly the unova pokemon had the perfect anime adaptations. Except his leavanny. It was so unique as a sweaddle, but once he turned to swadloon, he just faded in the backround. And gained a female voice.
The excitement I had from seeing Ash’s Krokorok evolve and take down Iris’s seemingly unbeatable dragonite is one of the most memorable moments I had watching Pokémon as a kid. Awesome video, it’s about time he got one.

Man, Krookodile has been one of my personal favorite Pokemon since his debut. It's too bad we didn't get more of him in the anime... 😔
Krookodile is easily my fav Unova Ash Pokemon. I remember years ago when B&W was airing in Japan I heard Krookodile was gonna reappear soon so I checked the wiki every day to see if I was caught yet and was thrilled when I saw he was caught
The whole style of it makes it ash’s ace
I get why Krookodile wasn’t used against Cameron (Ash used him against Stephan), but come on. Boldore got one super effective Rock Smash on Hydreigon, Oshawott slowly whittled it down, and Pignite put in most of the work to finish the job. Chances are Krookodile and Pignite alone would’ve finished Hydreigon quickly. Hell, I’d argue Scaggy and Leavanny would have a decent chance it they were cautious about its strength.

I really like how Krookodile kept seeking out Ash out of either respect or a want to constantly challenge him. I feel like Krookodile should have been Ash’s true ace during the Unova series instead of sharing half of that spot with Charizard, especially since Krookodile somehow taught himself how to fly via Aerial Ace. Really wished we got to see him throw down again during Aim to be a Pokémon Master but he’ll still go down in my heart as my favourite Ash Pokémon.
Krookodile is the absolute underrated ace of Ash’s
Krookodile was unfortunate to suffer not only in direction B&W anime went but also in the soft reboot approach with Ash caught too many Pokemon in a result of all of his Unova Pokemon not getting the equal amount of development and screen time battling but at least he's one of Ash's best Unova Pokemon so that's something which sucks cause Krookodile was one of my Top 5 favourite Pokemon of all time.
Krokodile was great bc it was the first time that Ash had caught a recurring Wild Pokémon character. Went from sunglasses sandile to sunglasses krokorok to Krokodile and became a fully evolved Pokémon especially in a series where only Leavanny and Unfezant evolved fully and his starters didn’t.

I think it's original to see a Pokemon like him to not be directly capture by a main character and be a recurent pokemon before being capture.
And at this point, it's tough to come up with original story lines. Like Infernape, Pignite, and Gengar being compared to Charizard because they were abandoned before meeting Ash.
Reminds me of Jigglypuff, which I felt like someone should have caught it after all this time. Whatever happened to it by the way?

He came back during Sun Moon and became a recurring character during some episodes but was not really relevant (He diseppear again before rhe end of Sun and Moon)
Finally it did appear one last time in the finale episode of Journey with a little cameo.

One thing I’ve always liked about krookodile is how one of it’s quirks is how whenever the glasses are somehow misplaced it’s a different ‘Mon but it also shows how much the glasses means to krookodile
I wish it was able to overcome the weakness at some point. Would've been a great episode

Honestly - my favorite part of BW was probably Krokorok's capture. I didnt expect it, and the build up was fantastic
Krookodile was my #1 favorite in Black and White series to where I still can't believe that in the game, I actually encountered a shiny sandile while going heading to the 3rd gym and kept him on my team throughout the game. It even had the ability Moxie which made it a powerhouse ace on my team.

If caught in debut BW003 episode then could've been used in battles against and Cilan bros, Trip 5 on 5 for full battle, Lenora, Nimbasa tournament, Elesa for type advantage and Clay
Also Ash should've used it against Roxie too

Honestly, this was definitely Ash's secret ace in the Black and White series. It was just a shame that Ash caught it late and as such, they gave it very few battles in the series. Even though it was a few battles, those battles ended up being some of the best in the Black and White series.
Easily Ash’s best Pokémon in Unova. You can always count on Krookodile to deliver the goods. Thanks Professor. :)

I was dissapointed when Krookodile didn't appear as a rotation mon in Aim to be a Pokemon Master, just got a cameo in the last episode. Missed opportunity.
I feel Ash would've caught Krokoroc somewhere in the TR vs. TP special and that would've really benefitted it. I feel like even though Krookidile is seen as the Unova ace, Ash's poor team management in Unova led to him getting sidelined like the rest of Ash's non starter Pokemon that region.
It would've been cool to see the increased exposure and storyline potential
Looking back on it, I think the writers bit off more than they could chew with how many Pokemon Ash wound up catching during that saga. It was probably the most number of Pokemon Ash ever caught in a single region, if not close to it, and that unfortunately lead to certain ones not getting a chance to do much of anything, with Palpitoad and Boldore being the 2 biggest examples of Pokemon that wound up shafted as a result. Having said that, Krookodile was definitely a stand out from Best Wishes, which makes me wish they had showed it more
Originally, it WAS supposed to be caught during that special
Ever since he started his journey, Ash's Ace pokemon that help carried his team our Pikachu, Charizard, Sceptile, Infernape, Krookodile, Greninja, Dusk Lycanroc and Lucario. What makes them the aces compared to the others isn't the fact that they're not just strong but they also achieved something that makes them more special and unique to others.
-Charizard and Infernape defeated half of Ash's rival team (technically makes them one-man army), Both went through special training and have an desired to be the best and Both stood their ground against an legendary flying pokemon.
-Sceptile and Lycanroc managed to do the impossible; defeating the unbeatable Darkrai and Ash winning the league.
-Krookodile and Lucario defeated an character signature (and most likely their strongest) pokemon; Beartic, Dragonite and Sawk (Krookodile) and Garchomp (Lucario)
- And Greninja and Pikachu are both shown to have an unique bond with Ash, Have determination and are much stronger than any member of their species.
While Ash have other strong pokemons by his side such as Snorlax, Swellow and Goodra; It because what these boys have accomplished that make them part of Ash's ultimate team.
P.S. It unknown rather or not if Krookodile loses his sunglasses would be timid and scared but I have no doubt that Ash would've help him overcome his fear and remind him that he was strong warrior without his glasses just like Oshawott when he lost his scalchop.
Krookodile deserves better because he’s the ace of his Unova team.

Krookodile has always been my number 1 favorite and because of the show i always have the black glasses item on him at all times lol. It's ashamed you can't physically see them but it definitely helps
Krookodile and Leavanny were the only Unova Pokemon Ash had that peaked my interest due to their performance and actual versatility. All of the others (YES, even including the Starter trio) failed to leave a lasting impact on me due to how little they got in terms of more gym performances.
Ash’s krookidile is awesome! The think about alligator or crocodile related Pokémon I think there really cool! And ash’s krookidile is really cool! I love it’s storyline and I love the sound of its voice of all 3 evolution stages.

Ash's MVP of the Black and White sage. Krookodile was my favorite of Ash's Unova Team.
Also I LOVE those shade of his. Krookodile and Squirtle would've made great pal.

The legend himself the legend with shades. Such a disappointment that he wasn’t in the anime more, but he is 15 of all Ash’s Pokémon.

Maybe they didn't deal with Krookadile when he loses his sunglasses because it was too much like Oshawott and his scalchop- the battle with Stephan where it disappears, then it's broken later on? But they did have a lot of pokemon on Ash's team that region.

Ash's Krookodile is one of his best, & one of my favorite pokemon. It's a REAL BEAST of a BOSS!!! I wish Ash could've battled Drayden. Ash's Krookodile could've battled against Drayden's dragon types, but Iris had to be stupid telling Ash not to battle him. it would've been perfect for Krookodile's development. I wish the writers in Journey's could've had Ash use his old pokemon in the WCS too. I'd have had Ash battle against Alder & Elite 4 member Marshal & beat them using Krookodile. I wish it could've learn scorching sands, sand tomb, & dark pulse. Can you do Ash's Lucario next please?

Krookodile is in general one of my favorite gen 5 mons as it's my favorite Ground type pokemon. Ash's with the shade just screams don't mess with me

one of the few good things that came out of the black and white anime
I was shocked when my Krokorok evolved into Krookodile in my White playthrough since I thought it was a final evolution. (also technically spoilers for the anime since it was around Brycen's gym lol.)Even though it was pretty much weak to everything in White, it was still fun to use most of the time. Even now its one of my favorite pokemon since moxie, bulk up, Z-me first, and power trip are so fun to use in gen 7.
Krockodile became a powerhouse in the BW series and If the show add a few episodes where he faced his fear of batting without his glasses or getting more screen time in the the last season. In Unova league Krockodile would prove a great member when Ash battle Cameron’s Hydriegon

Definitely Ash's Unova MVP and sadly the only actually memorable pokemon in his rotation during the journey - *_Krookodile's T-posing-Aerial Ace was a surprising trump card and radiates true chad energy_* - it's such a shame he didn't get any more time in the spotlight, feels like Ash's Unova pokemon as a whole have had the least amount of reappearances in later generations, and especially during Ash's final arc, where his whole roster of pokemon got at least SOME time on the screen

Great video as always! Yeah, I really wished Ash used Krookodile in his battle with Roxie and Cameron. Ash probably wouldn't have struggled as much with Roxie and probably would have beaten Cameron. Though , definitely still one of his strongest Pokemon.

I think that during the unova league ash and cameron should have had a 3 on 3 battle, where in the end krookodile would take out camerons lucario. The teams would probably be pikachu, krookodile and scraggy vs riolu/lucario, samurott and hydreigon.

Unlike what a lot of people think, I honestly like the Unuva journey. And Krookodile was definitely one if not my favorite one of this region. I really like his rebel personality but it's a shame we couldn't see much of it after he was capture. It would have been interesting to see him still having a rivalry with pikachu or a habit of not following orders like charizard did for a while. Maybe if they did, they could have made the episode where he starts behaving better the same episode where he lost his fear of not having his shades or maybe during or after he evolves, he could have lost his shades, but he wouldn't have panic showing some mental growth as well. I also wonder why they never explain why that happened? They could have use meowth for explaining. In the games, I think does shades increase dark type moves or something, right?
Krookodile was undoubtedly Ash’s ace in Unova and carried his team in this region. Very underrated
One of my favorites
Ahh yea Ash’s Krookodile. His strongest ground type that rarely lost a battle at all. I remember of how it debut as a Sandile at the beginning of the Best wishes saga in the black and white season, it had shades and gotten an interest in Ash and started following him around. That was the same of how Gible and Ash’s relationship started. The thing about Krookodile is that it gets timid whenever it loses his sunglasses 🕶. The battles I remember it winning was against the gym leader’s Beartic, Iris’ Dragonite(defeating it with dragon claw and stone edge). Gliscor was Ash’s second strongest ground type, Douphan third, Paltitoad 4th and Gible fifth since it didn’t have much battle experience and only won a few battles. Seeing Krookodile battle was of how it became my favorite ground type. Those shades make it look cool and I remember using that Pokémon on my team back when I played Pokémon white and white 2. And Aerial Ace was a useful move for fighting type Pokémon since it had a disadvantage against them. Like what were the odds of a ground and dark type learning a flying type move if it doesn’t have wings? It’s usually the flying type Pokémon that learn that move but that’s how the games work and Shiftry can learn aerial ace too BtW

When I played the Unova games I actually used a Sandile on my teams. It got me through battles and I made Eliza look like a fool.

Black and white may have been my least favorite season, but Krookodile was the diamond in the rough of black and white. That being said, it’s scarce number of battles is one of many examples where the writers of black and white had potential to do awesome things, but blew it. Just like how they brought charizard back to Ash’s regular arsenal but didn’t give it any major battles after its return episode and denied us the epic clash with Reshiram we were promised in the opening
Honestly, I didn't like it when it was airing as it was hard to see Ash lose after beasting Paul. But, in retrospect, I really enjoy the series. Ash's Pokemon had ALOT of personality

Krookodile isn’t actually a crocodile. It has a U-shaped snout and only its upper teeth can be seen when it’s mouth is shut. Both of which are traits that of an alligator.
