Emma Thompson and Pierce Brosnan, The Love Punch - Emma Thompson and Pierce Brosnan star in The Love Punch, a comedy centered on a divorced couple who undertake a robbery. Their chemistry was evident when the duo sat down with Tribute.ca to discuss the film, including their demonstration of wearing wet suits for the movie.
The Love Punch movie synopsis:
Divorced, middle-aged Richard Jones (Pierce Brosnan) is looking forward to a worry-free existence as he arrives at his office on his last day of work, having sold his company. Much to his dismay, he discovers that the management buyout of his company was fraudulent.
With his company now bankrupt, the employee pension fund has been embezzled, wiping out his retirement fund. Richard enlists his ex-wife Kate (Emma Thompson) to help him track down the shady businessman behind the fraud. Soon, they're caught up in a cat-and-mouse caper across Europe in a whirlwind of intrigue, mad chases and a jewelry theft that might restore Richard's future - while rekindling his romance with Kate.
