I have seen camera-work where people with two left-feet can appear to dance as well as Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Too bad, such creative camera editing and directing was not used here. This could have been a real show-stopper, in the right hands. Still, I appreciate that you posted it here.
It's a good song and the number is fun. The editing and dancing are fine. Not everyone has to dance like Astaire and Rogers. I don't think this scene is meant to represent dancing as much as it is good will.
@@jamesshielssoberlife.3701 This scene looks very much like they were using a single camera filming a theatrical production on a stage. With creative camera angles and switching back and forth between several cameras, there was so much that could have been done that might have made this number a true show-stopper.
@@mikeifyouplease I am not to sure about that there is a high angle shot looking down on them as they dance there is a moving up shot as they go up the library staircase, it cuts to them in a two shot for the chorus.
