I got a bottle of this earlier this year and finally opened it up today. I like the nose and I like how the palate is very different but that bitter note near the end is going to take some getting used to. Thank you for taking us through the ups and downs of this dram, Horst!
Eye: No legs/viscosity; dark yellow in color. Nose: Faint vanilla, faint dark fruit (cherries, red apple etc), faint caramel Palate: Spicy, Oaky, faint vanilla Finish: Bitter edge inbetween some spots of smoothness.
Great review why people commnt about thr backgrnd or the sounds what is the real reason to watch these videos really lots of nonsnse comnts i check your every review about the whisky that i am about to buy perfect job again
Personal 21 YO its not getting on me, but i like very much the 17 YO, so maybe You can make video with it?:) I Saw that You have it in deutsch, and it would be nice to watch it in eng.

I like the Greenscreen. Its part of evolution. Good thing Mr Lüning, but why is the english take online before the german take. Grüße aus Wien :-b

Ballantine's 21 years changed my mind about blended whiskies.
Apparently no longer available. Costs about $100.

Hmm, interesting - you can get 17 years old and even 30 years old versions over here, yet I've never seen or even known about the 21 years variety!
Was that an Irn Bru bottle you poured the whisky into? That would have been appropriate.😏

I think it's ok but the lighting is a bit harsh. Maybe a bit fill light on the left side of the face.
I didnt notice it until you brought it up. I like it though. It gives a feel for where the bottle comes from.
