Mike Evans caught 5 passes on 7 targets for 55 yards and 1 TD when lining up against Richard Sherman. Winston threw one interception on a pass intended for Mike Evans, with Sherman guarding and the pass was intercepted by Kam Chancellor. Who won the matchup? 🤔
Sherman
I love sherman but i gotta go with mike on this one
@@MicahMikeMicahMike how
I always vouch for the dbs but if Sherman got beat one on one for a td then he automatically lost the matchup.
Sherm only gave up 55 yards but he did give up the touchdown so I think Evans won
Now Sherman's playing for the opposing team
Wrong
@@kyle7574 no he’s not lol Sherman’s on the bucs
@@Ainsi110 That's what he meant
@@Ainsi110 like since he played against the bucs that year now he plays for the opposing Bucs when he was on the Seahawks
@@3xc1usiv3vonny he said wrong
That secondary just got some great veteran experience! It’s about to be one of the best seasons in a while!
Lol Kam Hit Evans and Evans didn’t budge😂😂
Prime Sherman was his first few years in like 2012-2014. His window was short, he was already going downhill by 2016.
I remember this game. Sherman had 4 defense penalties this game. Pass interference and holding. Can't believe yall left that out
50/50 55 yards aint a lot but you gotta watch the whole game to see wassup
It feels different not seeing Chancellor and Thomas playing in the NFL
Very saddened
Evans won
3:08 that kam hit🥲brings me joy
Something Jamal Adams wont ever bring
@@424dsfdsfdsfs u don’t know that. He’s only been here for like. Season and change
@@424dsfdsfdsfs literally Jamal has hit harder than that before
Jamal hits just as hard he just can’t cover shit lmao
@@qwertyuiop-tn8qn yeah he can.We just can’t figure out how to use him at the best of his ability.
Everyone knows what happens when Evans meets Sherman....
A Kam Chancellor interception 😎
Legion of Boom back in the old days
Who’s David terrell
Prime Sherman was overrated, see how easily he got beat 1 on 1? Only time he was making plays was when he had safety help over the top
Sherman was a scheme corner, he was smart and was tall, but besides that, he was only elite because of the defensive zone scheme
Everyone who actually watched him knows he overrated. I can't find one wr that said he was one of the toughest corners they faced.
He played cover 3 mostly aka "don't get beat deep".
I'll give him credit for getting interceptions, but he wasn't a true shut down corner like people think he was
@@MikeBNumba6 exactly, everyone put him up there with prime Peterson, Talib, and Revis. The difference was all those corners shadowed the number 1 receiver in their prime and locked them down frequently. Sherman never had the speed or quickness to to cover the number 1 receiver every snap, hence why he moved around frequently.
@@martinvalencia6141 yup. And his fans like to bring up the game Sharman "followed" Antonio Brown.
I want every fan to watch the all 22 film of that game. AB burnt Sherman on the first drive but the safety Chancellor broke up the pass. After that Seattle shifted the entire secondary towards AB while Sherman was on him and that's exactly why the other steelers wr nearly had 200 yds rec.
Also he doesn't even press. He press bails. So even him being a physical corner is not entirely accurate
I always felt prime Sherman was definitely overrated
Richard Sherman wasn’t really that good. Looking back at it now he was overrated.
Evans won
