@@windsports I tried an intro hang gliding once too. Although it was a lot of fun, it was also hard work. Although you're trying to stretch out your flight time, even an extra 3 or 4 seconds translates into an extra 3 or 4 minutes of lugging 150lb of gear back up the slope. haha.

the trick is to fold in the uneven elastic parts first, then fold it in half and go from there!

When our dad died, we held his memorial and spread his ashes at a glider point near Julian, CA. A glider was going out that day and offered to spread some of his ashes over the mountainside (it was our dad’s favorite view). My heart will always have a soft spot for them, and although I’ve never had the guts to do it myself, it feels good knowing that my dad got to do it ❤️
