Let me know whatcha guys think of this soundbar, is it worth your time & $?
I know this soundbar is a budget product, but as a sound engineer - I wanna smack you in the face for how you explain and describe things, especially the sound, even more - the difference of soundbar alone vs with sub. Adding the sub does nothing to the sound of the top end, unless the soundbar would have built-in DSP that detects Sub and adjusts the frequency response or phase response accordinglly which I doubt it does for the price it comes at. The sub has a power cord probably BECAUSE there isnt an extra DSP to adjust for things, so that you dont throw the sub too far away and the phase at crossover frequency does not get too great. And at that, the hole in the sub is not for air...yeah, it needs room to "breathe" so that the box doesnt resonate inside too much, but the hole is called a phase inverter and its mostly so that when the driver is moving in the sound wave goes out of the box in phase with the front and boosts the response instead of destroying it.

Simple soundbar at a budget price. Sometimes budget items are good enough. Not everything in life has to be the best, especially when you can’t afford it. I thought the music audio was very clear, the movie Audio wasn’t bad either.
I never have been big into sound bars personally. I’ve always tried to purchase a tv with the sound qualities I needed built in. Soundbars are great for parties and sports gatherings. So I’ll have it as an option on my list to acquire at some point. As I do like to entertain from time to time.
If I was looking to pick up something quick, this would do in a pinch for the price point.
Idk Eric I kind have to disagree and say soundbars/external audio devices are a must have. The built in speakers in these new flat screens are just too terrible 😫 lol. But again everyone has their own preference to everything.
KosherTech that’s why I emphasized i do my homework to make sure the sound quality on what I am purchasing is up to par. Not all flat screens have shit sound, some especially the QLED and OLED models have incredible sound. It’s all about speaker placement on the display.
In the latest Kosher after dark I explained I recently lost my monitor during a storm. It was older, so I decided to go budget. I don’t have a lot of $$ right now and I’m desperate because I have a shit gpu. But obviously no monitor takes precedence over me buying the much desired RX 580.
Anyway I decided on a budget Asus 27” gaming monitor which it’s greatest complaint is the shit sound from
The built in speakers. This would be the perfect example of where a budget sound bar could complement it, but then again if I had the benjamins for all that I would have bought a better display or in addition to the Asus I would have grabbed up the RX 580. I use a wireless headset most of the time so the monitor speaker issue is a non issue to me.
I’m not dogging the soundbar at all and I agree that some tv’s they are an absolute must additional purchase. However when I buy a tv I make sure the device itself is of the quality not to have to rely on additional purchases. If it can’t stand alone, then why buy it?
Anyway I enjoyed the reviews as always. For a budget soundbar it was good quality at a great price point. Worth the $$ for sure. Peace

Hi, when you plugged in the sub will the socket plugged into the back of the speaker interfere with "flush" wall mounting. The plug seems to stick out past the hooks that attach the speaker to the wall

Yamaha Yas-108 hands down. They only down side the 108 doesn't come with a sub but if that isn't something which u care for than go with the 108 u will love it. Btw the 109 always just came out check it out on Amazon. Let me know which one u go with? also if u like it.

wall mountable but has the power cable on one side. that wont look good on a wall. has to be centered. sure, its video but it sounds like a good radio with a subwoofer. this sound ok for something portable but not as a home solution. creatives t20 sound wider, more punchfull and costs less. i was hoping that soundbars could be wide, roomfilling a broad

In general you get what you pay for. There are times when you can find what I call a best value for the money. One gentleman explained perfectly "the subwoofer does nothing!" That tells me right away what kind of company this is. The man in the video telling me that it comes with No Cables, Wires, batteries . We all know how much the stores overcharge for $1 Chinese cables. $29.95 $39.95. That completely changes how much this unit costs. Next case I pass.
