- I bumped into a Celtic supporter whilst checking out the Estadio Nacional in Lisbon, Portugal. This is where Celtic Football Club won the European Cup in 1967.

I was there in 2017, the day after they inaugurated the sign at their office complex, commentating our victory. My son and I were asked by a security guard why we were there. I told him we were Celtic supporters, and he told us not to move. Away he went, and returned with the president of the Portuguese FA. we spoke to him and had pictures taken with him. He told us that we were the first of the public to see the sign, and that John Clark, our number 6, had inaugurated the sign the day before. He then instructed the security guard to let us into the ground itself. He asked us not to go onto the pitch as it was still used for cup finals. So we spent 1 hour walking around and taking photos. I got to stand on the spot Ceasar stood when he lifted the European cup. That day was/is one of the best days in my long life. My son is now a season ticket holder, and never misses a home game.

Nice one! Didn't manage to make it out as far as Oeiras when I visited Lisbon nearly 9 years ago.
It's a long way from the centre and such a curious venue, being used nowadays for just the Taça de Portugal final and nothing else.
Also, "Inglaterra" isn't pronounced "Angleterre". Hope none of the locals heard that!
