FASHION IS ABOUT CLOTHES, atleast one should be able to see the beauty of the clothes and there were pieces here that were absolutely fantastic. That knee-length cable knit coat, the gian puffer jacket with canary yellow fur and the trench coat with a pleated panel inserted in a slit at the back. Love! AND ABSOLUTELY LOVE JOHN!!

Bravo Galliano! Interesting take on menwear.
I think that instead of focusing on finding the skinniest models around they should have focused on models that can actually walk and showcase the collection.... This was hard to watch...
Same for womenswear....some of the models (especially the younger ones) come clomping out like zombies or are near sprinting down the runway in the most beautiful evening gowns. It's like they don't understand what it means to be a model. Long gone are the days when models were aware they were actually wearing clothes, and made an effort to show the garment like they're supposed to.

Finally John Galliano is back doing Menswear...Take a lesson Demna Gvasalia, Off-White and Gosha. This is what a REAL Collection looks like, were every piece can stand on its own...Not like your half-ass thrift store runway shows.
ITSFULLOFSTARS1 the model are ok too. The models being used in the collections look like twinks from mall or dark bedrooms. I’ll be so glad when this trend is over if ever. The male black models all look like that come from Africa or African decent. What ever happened to the Renault White type black male model. Or the Sidney Poitier type black male model. I’m a black male model and the black male model representation being presented on the runways from the fashion brands are embarrassing. I’m also from America. How about that black male model that was stabbed and died in London. They said it was jealousy from other male model(s). If that stuff goes on and attitudes are like that who wants to be a part of that atmosphere. Sorry major modeling agency’s no thank you. Not worth being killed for. Most models don’t even buy or wear the brand especially high end brand unless given to them. To cheap to buy the clothes.

Gorgeous, is gorgeous, is gorgeous and it NEVER goes out of style. So, "famine fashion" on !men! is completely counter intuitive to ANY consumer.
We know or at least FASHION historians know the archetype of male beauty as commercial dynamite, so all this ode to "crack babies" is a grand "f" you to men in general and specifically models.
Exquisite, lip-smacking, jee-zus he's an angel, DIVERSE, hunkiness is plentiful. Everyone knows that male models must be bleedingly blessed because there is not a stitch of camouflage. You're FINE as hell, 360 degrees, no angle cutting, padding, underwire or push-up, you possess it ALL.
Male models should look like they enjoy protein in athletic qualifying abundance.
Really, ALL fashion houses, STOP the " famine fashion".
That's a battle going on here, some of them are recovering but these paper thin models would be straight off the field.....definitely war references and battlescar inspiration here. Apart from the Tabis, don't like it at all.

is it my observation that male fashion models in the past 4c seasons (maybe except bottega veneta) are looking more waif, anorexic and just plain ugly hahaha. gone are the days of ryan taylor, nessman, lachowski, lacrocq & co. (2009-2015)
Most of the male models being used in all the collections for the last 2 years are an embarrassment to the fashion world. It’s horrible. Whomever started this trend of using these types should be fired! I’m a black male model from America and I look like a black male Brooke Shields. The agency’s won’t even touch me. That’s ok though because I rather not bother. The models being used don’t even buy these clothes. They don’t even wear them unless they are given to them. It’s very sad. What ever happen to the drop dead gorgeous male runway models. Agency’s time up. You are very lacking and sad in your selection of male models. How about the black male model that stabbed the other black male last week and he died. Horrible and sickening and very sad and for that kind of climate to exist in fashion. Jealousy ....but they were even all that. Modeling agencies won’t even look at me. It’s sad. But you know what...I’m cool with that. My look is beautiful and unique and I know my worth. Hey sooner or later I will get work when the right people see me and get my look. Times up for this look it’s awful
Galavant Goldman Runway isn’t for you then. Plenty of other types of modelling out there - also different brands have different aesthetics. The whole ‘post-soviet youth’ look is in right now.
