The M60 is the finest balanced electric car I have driven. The comfort, refinement and power really is right up there.
I strongly disagree with the statement that the interior quality is a massive step up from the F90 - there is a tonne of hard plastic and even the door grip are hard plastic, when it was nice tactile leather on the F90
You're absolutely right, the last generation interior quality has nothing to do with this crap, this interior is a step down in quality.
Just test drove it week ago. Interior has nice features, like the minimal design, but I completely agree with you about materials. Door cards feels very cheap, especially bottom part. The Bowers and Wilkins grill is just at the top, bottom part grill looks like Kia; hard plastics everywhere and even the storage is hard plastic in door card. My old F11 door cards feel more premium than this.
I completely agree with you. BMW followed this Mercedes trend to look futuristic however this looks a bit cheap and lazy when it comes to designers putting things together. I really don’t think it’s anywhere near step up from a few previous generations.
Agreed not a big step at all, and you can keep EV's way to Heavy and no mention of Battery life?.

The silver with black accents looks great! Body color on part of the front end would look cohesive.
BMWs interior quality has always been above Audi n Mercedes, I recently sat in this and I can’t lie it didn’t feel as good as the g30’s or f90’s

As a former BMW technician working at a Tesla-heavy repair shop, I’m thankful my German brethren are still producing cars for “the rest of us” in this modern age…

As much as I’m a fan of the og angel eyes, I think the new drl really helps the g80, the horizontal drl better integrates with the big horizontal grillz

The interior is ok. I owned a G31 and the perception of quality isn’t as high in my view, the design and gizmos are amazing!
Why is there a spoiler on the f90 m5 in the intro looks really strange it’s not even correct on the trunk is on the bottom of the rear 0:16 window
Dude,...that F90 M5 seen in the Intro is their modified F90! They have lots of content on that car!
My 2023 F90 Ultimate will be staying no EV heavyweights for me. The new M5 will cost a small fortune too.

The weight is everything in performance handling. Need new batt tech to lighten the weight to get the M340 handling, n need batt to be reliable too as bmw is now on par with toyota in reliability… will achieve in time

If I had to get an EV this would be it. Until then I'll be enjoying my V10 M5 and guzzling petrol lol.
100k for an ugly EV 5series, nahh, rather wait for the new M5 and spend thst much. But interior wise its lacking any style, the dual screens are dull looking, I preferred the ones on old M5 & M8, interior lighting is nice but looks pricey to fix. Body accents and the front and rear lights are really ugly to the cohesion of the body.
Icon DRLs are the best, these new ones are quite lackluster...
I think if BMW were to go back to halo after this iteration of DRLs, with a sort of retro style, they'd smash it out of the park in terms of design and looks.
Personally, i like the rear of this, but the rest of the exterior has nothing on the G30
