I also recommend the Medela Quick Clean Micro-steam bags. I use those for sanitizing, on the daily, in the microwave and it only takes 3 minutes! You can find a link in my description box.
I do. However, I only sanitize the outside of the tubes. If any liquid gets inside the tubes it will damage the pump. Damage by way of mold building up in the tubes because they don't dry completely.
