- The Second Mizukage is a really interesting and fun character in Storm Connections. The newly introduced combat mechanics definitely help him out in the combo department and gives him more utilities in the long run. He is originally meant to be played as a ranged character, but unfortunately most of his ranged attacks can be dashed through with ease. His jutsus however are pretty interesting and are able to combat most of the annoying play that is currently present in the game.
Thanks to @user-co4vb1ew9b I will showcase this character to you all, since I've been requested to play with him.
The Second Mizukage has two primary jutsus in his arsenal that are rather unique compared to the other characters in the roster. His first jutsu sends out a smaller version of himself that explodes on impact. It moves fast and covers a lot of ground pretty quick. On hit it moves the opponent backwards causing them to end up in a grounded state. There is not much that you can do with this jutsu besides adding pressure on your opponents guard or as a combo finisher.
His second jutsu is a bigger version of himself that also explodes on impact. On hit it causes the opponent to be in a unique airborne state that they can’t recover from unless they use their substitution bar. This gives him the ability to freely combo afterwards. You can either dash up to your opponent or grab them while they are airborne. If you do the right sequence you can also connect an ultimate jutsu. There are multiple ways you can deploy this jutsu; whenever you get pressured, your opponent uses their substitutions or as a combo extension. Note that if you have already called out the jutsu, but get interrupted before the jutsu appears on your screen it WILL still come out. Be sure not to waste any substitutions while being aware of this fact.
His ranged attacks are what makes this character special though. The best way to implement them in your combo is as a combo finisher or right after a grab. If you perform these moves right after a grab it becomes near impossible for your opponent to escape the endless barrage of water bullets. Since you are extremely close to your opponent it is harder for them to counterdash, because the priority on your bullets are much higher at that point. This is extremely handy with the right assists, because you can basically eat away at your opponents substitution gauge.

I would say he's fairly balanced amongst the other ranged characters. His steam clone jutsu is pretty fast and the projectiles have nice hitbox and speed. But on the other hand to compensate that he cant combo with projectiles into dashes or into ultimate jutsu without the help of supports that long stun opponents like mei
Great explanation on why you think so! 100% agree with you on this take. Even though he has some strong tools, there are even more powerful ones out there. Him not being able to confirm dashes after his projectiles is a huge setback, because that's the name of the game when it comes to ranged characters. At that point team synergy really comes to play here🙏.

confess playing ranged characters while using their range combo is much more fun than before right? lol love your gameplay as always. also fun fact for some reason this character's water dragon had the weakest damage of all water dragons in previous games. idk if that's also true in connections tho.

Appreciate the love and support as always🙏. That might be true, but I noticed a big chunk of damage depleting their health bar everytime I hit the dragon (might just be my imagination ngl😅). From all the combos in his ranged arsenal the dragon one had the best tracking though. That's all I know for sure🙏.
That last match was so close, but blacksage had more skill. once mf14, swicth to the second we had us an old school gun sling match which was dope!!!!

I just wanted to give him a sense of satisfaction (and was also curious how long he was gonna keep at it) 🤣🤣. Thought it was a funny thing to put inside of the video, since the scaling on it is massive anyways so I didn't bother using a substitution for it🤣🤣.
@@BlackSageHD Although it is kinda broken like once you finish doing a air combo with Naruto then you do massive rasengan and then do the air combo again.
@@twynswords9352 You are right about that (Never do what I just did🤣). Baryon Naruto is a combo monster that's for sure and him being able to do that is already a broken thing in itself for sure💀. He has a lot of ways to confirm into pretty much anything😅.
