Sculpting a Rock Only Using TrimSmoothBorder

- In this time-lapse video I start out using a simple dynameshed cube in ZBrush and sculpt it into a rock using only the TrimSmoothBorder Brush!
Regardless of your experience level, I think it's important to show that you don't need 100's of brushes to sculpt rocks; technically, you don't even need alphas to yield high quality results. I practice sculpting rocks often and I typically only use this one brush.
So... Take ahold of the magic that is TrimSmoothBorder and challenge yourself like I did to using only 1 brush to sculpt rocks. Overtime you'll begin to master it and start sculpting AAA rocks in no time!

Very nice and good result. But you actually fail at the Mark of 30seconds -> Move Brush :D
You caught me! Haha
I love this brush.. Because I would like to kreate rocks like these... I am a beginner in zbrush for ipad, but can't find this brush.. Is there a place where I can download it? 😢😊
thank god i found your video. Can you make a video on how to sculpt stalactites
Zbrush is amazing, keep up the great work! I left a like and keep up the amazing content 👌
Pretty good job some of the areas don't feel natural but with a second or third pass that can be fixed.
TSB is all you need baby! (With some custom alphas perhaps)
where can i get this brush i don't have this brush
I think this is just the trim smooth or trim adaptive brush or some iteration of it
Actually I'm incorrect, Open the lightbox, and it's in the brushes folder
Lightbox>Brushes>Trim>TrimSmoothBorder brush. Most people then add a square alpha.
Why haven’t i heard of this brush before,
this looks amazing
