This 2022 history documentary takes a look at the Greycliffe Disaster, also known as the Sydney Harbour Disaster. This tragic event is the worst disaster to ever take place in Sydney Harbor. The event that took place in Sydney, Australia was horrifyingly tragic. It was an awful ship wreck which took place between a commuter ferry and a much larger ocean liner.
Making matters worse, the Greycliffe ferry was transporting children home from school as it normally did on school days. The ship wreck is especially notable due to the speed with which the ferry sunk. Since the ship was tipped over and completely split in half, it was rapidly filled with water.

I heard of this disaster. I have a fascination with ship wrecks, especially visible shipwrecks. Thanks for posting this.
I also, have a infatuation with shipwrecks!!! Always did, ever since I was small. I grew up in a seashore town, and still live there. Of course, since spending my whole life here, I'm going to have some kinda interest, in maritime knowledge, and history. I actually have a small, shipwreck wall display on one of my, living room walls.

I have heard this story before about the passengers running to one side capsizing the ferry but didn’t know of the collision with the ship .

I try to be good about looking into pronunciation of things but sometimes certain words slip through the cracks. Especially since I get most of my information from written sources. Totally immoral response; to exposure and danger , of “low level” service personnel and , lack of concern by no provision of protective gear. Same for any concern for civilians. We see the same disregard over and over from military and government entities. Including service and civilian populations exposed to agent orange in Vietnam. Is it any wonder why America is mistrusted and hated by so many both citizens and foreigner ? I frequently feel such anger and shame I am ashamed to be an American. Wave no flags at me. 9:46
