Don't be an idiot. If they say 'no pets' and the landlord finds pets in the apartment, you'll have to pay a fine and you'll be kicked out.
He is not very bright lol, he thinks that he is all that …lol, HUSTLER FROM RUSSIA.
Yeah, find a place that allows them and make sure it's stated in your apartment lease that you're allowed to have pets. Make sure it's written as 2 pets at most so they can't gripe for you having more than 1.
That said, you should familiarize yourself with housing laws regarding leased dwellings. :/
Is that a law there? Because where I live its legal for landlords to post an ad with no pets allowed but they cannot enforce it if their new tenants gets or actually has a pet.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT leave your passports in your hotel room !!!!
Until you get established in the city and get another form of ID, ALWAYS keep your passports with you.

But in this instance, I'm willing to give them a pass. Russian passports are not really in high demand currently, not many places you can go with them. lol

Guys, don’t buy any of these aromatherapy humidifiers. They are very dangerous for cats! I had one of these and the aroma oil in the steam cauterized my cats eyes. I had to take him to the veterinary hospital.
Please don't buy any unnecessary electronics.Cause you'll need to keep all the money that you can. This is just a 65-year-old Grandma.

No pets means no pets. Not unreasonable and if you break that rule will be thrown out immediately with no rent refund. Just not worth the risk.

@coomercommander2554 I would debate that statement. In the eu, you have many tariff and intercountry policies that restrict what you can and can't do within those countries.
In the us, the rules are the same and there is no fees to do business between state lines.. and we have guns.. most of Europe won't let you have a knife.. plus, you don't need a passport to travel all of the lower 48.. say that about the EU.

Be careful renting an apartment from someone you meet out and about. In US there are scammers that rent and sell places they don't own. FB Marketplace in US can have sketchy deals (not above board). As far as your kitties, if they are not declawed, you can get glue on nail caps that do not hurt the cats. One brand is Purdy Paws. They even come in cute colors. So google about the nail covers if you want to learn more.
As a per owner find a pet friendly home very important
1 get out of Russia CHECK!
2. get family safe CHECK
3. Get souroudings Pending
4. Get housing (advice: don't be picky)
5. get work (advice: whatever gets the bills off yer back)

One thing you might try. Go out to some local neighborhoods. For example Pattaya Klang between 3rd road and Sukhumwit. Then walk around side streets looking for for rent signs in older townhouses. Private owners.Not condo buildings. Likely cats will be OK.
Too bad there's not a local subscriber there that can help them out with local advice.

That’s not a humidifier. Those are called aromatherapy. You put a few drops of oil in and the smell has healing properties. I put a few drops of lavender in my aromatherapy device each night before I go to bed and it helps me sleep. You’re welcome.
They are very bad for cats. Can cause respiratory problems.
I once had one of these. And it cauterized the eyes of one of my cats. I then had problems with my contact lenses. They were cauterized too. Cat to veterinary, me to the eye doctor and that aromatherapy device landed in the trash bin!
The humidifier are actually oil diffusers, you add a flower essence oil to some water and it diffuses the water and spreads a nice smell

Ivan you can get fat on that food. Most of it is deep fried and caramalized. Sugar is the worst, but if you eat more calories than you burn you can get fat on anything. Black coffee has no calories, but a triple frappacino is about all the calories you should have in a day. Chicken is good, but all the stuff they put on it and if it is deep fried, it is bad.
coffee has naturally fats. But the sugar is the main enemy for sure :D
@@Juhani96 The kind of fat in both coffee and dark chocolate are good for you, but people add bad fats and sugar, and they have a lot of calories, so most coffee and deserts are not good for you. By the way, refined sugar is concentrated sucrose and fructose. Fructose is the bad part. It causes your arteries to become inflamed, which is the first step of atherosclerosis/ plaque development, which eventually can end in a heart attack or struke. There is a lot about atherosclerosis on UA-cam. Search for Dr. Robert Lustig.
About pad krapow. That Russian market version does look very good but you can find that dish at thousands of places in town. Each place a little different. So you don't need to keep going to the same place. For spicy say phet. For very spicy say phet phet. Chicken is gai, pork is moo, squid is pla muek. If you want a runny egg say kai dow mai suk. For minced meat instead of pieces say saap for example moo saap. For pork and chicken I think minced meat is much better and sometimes the places use cheap processed chicken if it's pieces.
ALWAYS CARRY YOUR PASSPORT WITH YOU!🤦🏽♀️ Don't rent an apartment that doesn't allow pets. If you get caught it could be an expensive decision.
In the USA you always need a ID or passport with you. But in many other countries you don’t. I grew up in Switzerland and never had my ID or passport with me.
It's safer to leave your passport in the hotel than to carry it around and risk losing it. Just take a photo or photocopy of the passport and entry stamp.
@@MissRed92837 There is no federal/state law to carry id all the time in the US. You need to have a driving license while driving but thats it.
@NoemiCH-kr6we Well it's actually a driver's license that you need usually. It's the only I d that most people use. The reason behind that was that a lot of people would d.u.i.s will try to drive with no license.

"Dunkin Donuts!" LOL. Ivan, if you like electronics and cameras, go to Bangkok and visit Pantip Plaza and MBK (Ma Boon Krung) mall. Wearing gold will make you a target for theft. Wasn't that long ago the economy was down and people were being shot in the head just to steal their cell phone. Never let the taxi driver make choices for you. Know where you're going before you get into a cab. Not all cab drivers are bad but it's best to just assume they are all bad. A tuk-tuk is the three wheel taxi, Baht bus is the pickup truck with bench seats. Lots of tuk-tuks in Bangkok and Korat but not many in Pattaya. Take a boat out to the island and have breakfast on the beach. One of my favorite things to do. Just go down to the waterfront and look at those boats tied up. Someone will show up in no time, like they dropped out of a tree, and ask if you want a boat. Get one that's safe looking and as fast as you can afford. Go around 9am.
The cab drivers are notorious for "long hauling" !
Evelyn must be very proud of you, you have done lots of organising and if all goes well she will have lots of adventures with you.
Read your rental agreement that you should sign and it should discuss cats or other animals.
Here in the USA if you rent or Lease apartment and they find out you have animals that are against the rules they will get evicted and you will lose your deposit that you put down . Eviction means owner goes to court and gets an eviction on the renter.
There are plenty of apartments in the USA that also do not allow pets. Fortunately you have cats and it's far easier to find apartments that are cat friendly instead of dog friendly. I have no idea what the rental market is like in Thailand but I have a business associate who spends 6 months per year over there. He's been doing the Thailand thing for many years now he loves it. Obviously staying downtown is gonna be more expensive than living out in the country too. Good luck!

Absolutely. I know what it feels like being in a company where you cannot understand much of the language or none at all in her case. I was wondering though, howcome so many young Russians cannot speak or even understand English? I mean I know your education system is crap, but cmon. Internet? Every young person here speaks so much better than our politicians, who are subjected to jokes bc of their bad English here.

You need to.
Buy snacks to keep in your hotel room and in your apartment.Just in case you guys are extremely hungry and can't get to some food right away
In the marketplace, those objects are not humidifiers because they do not have enought moisture to humidify the air. Instead, they are diffusers for essential oils. They just push out the scents of the oil out into the air. So don't worry, they won't increase the humidity if you keep them in your home. And yes, they can smell fanatastic!
And are, sadly, very bad for cats. Cats have very sensitive olfactory systems and can be poisoned by flowers let alone essential oils.
Today, I learned from Ivan that Thai chickens have 3 filliping good balls! 😊 Thank you Ivan for the biology lesson. I hope you guys find a decent apartment in a safe and good neighborhood.

Your cats look more like Siberian Forest cats or Norwegian Forest cats. I have a clone of your black cat. He is the smartest feline I have ever owned. After 14 years he can say "hello" and when I ask him where his kitten is, he says clearly in English "i Don't know" Most people don't believe me, but this is not propaganda. Look for something East of Pattaya Road #3 ! It's still just a few minutes from the beach. The rents are much lower, the apartments are a little bigger, and you will have better luck finding a place that allows pets ! Don't take a chance on breaking a "no pets" policy ! They don't play there ! You will loose your deposit and find yourself out on the street ! And these apartments all report to each other. You may find yourself "Blackballed" ! Even if you find another place that allows pets, they may not want to rent to someone they know already breaks the rules ! Good luck, and I hope you find a place you can be happy with ! And put your jewelry away ! Wherever you rent your apartment, they will have a front desk. They may have a safe you can keep your jewelry in. I know the hotels do, and they run most of these apartments like hotels ! Be Safe !

Apartments and condos can set their own rules. If they don’t want pets then you need to look for a different place. Usually pay a little more for pets and a larger deposit. I spent one year in Thailand years ago and I’ve got to say there is lots to see and lots to do and the food is incredible. I hope you don’t return to Russia like you did last time. Ivan, if you are OK with South Pattaya, I have a large 4-room apartment where you can stay. You can pay any amount you are comfortable with and stay as long as you like.

I cannot convey my happiness that you guys are finally out of Russia and absolutely free! In America the "humidifier" is called a Diffuser, you put essential oils in it with water, I have them all over my house!
They're not really free yet. They are now subject to Thailand immigration. They can stay 90 days.
Humidifiers were called humidifiers before folks started putting in fragrance and calling them diffusers lol
THEY ARE ACTUALLY CALLED "YOU ARE POOR, THE USA IS A CRAPHOLE, YOU CANT EVEN AFFORD A/C AND THE WHOLE WORLD HATES YOU"
But they are very bad for cats. The oil can cauterize their eyes and their respiratory tract. I had one of my cats in the veterinary clinic because of that.
There is a difference in Thailand. An apartment is usually owed by the building management itself. You can also rent a condo which will be owned by an individual owner. Both usually want at least a year’s contract. You can negotiate or find one for a shorter contract. But you will pay more.

Dont rent a place that doesnt allow pets . They will throw you ,your cats and belongings out the door . Might find it all sitting in the hallway locked out . Its a no go !!!

It's really normal for a no pet rule, especially apartment's.. Its 80% here in Denmark 🇩🇰 Sad but i get it as a dog owner myself, but allergic to cats, i have it hard to find a place to live were pets is ok, and the last tenants didn't have cats!! Also i have seen what damage some pet owners do!! When i worked for a landlord company, so many floors and carpet, WALLS totally destroyed 😮
If you dont follow the rules, you will lose your deposit, and get kicked out and on top of losing the deposit, the landlord can charge/bill extra for prof cleaning, so the apartment dont need to be empty for long, because of allergies in the air.
