Been with this outfit 2 yrs now pulled reefer for them and 2 months ago switched to our sister company pulling food grade tanker hauling milk right now but getting ready to start hauling pepper sauce soon

Waiting to get out there would love to have you as a trainer. Ran tankers years ago and vacuum tanks, and some gas hauling locally though. I can deal with shippers and dispatchers as well as 4 wheelers, a lot less than fighting for union pipe fitting jobs around the states, and a lot less people trying to steal every tool you work for on a daily basis.

Can’t imagine wearing flip flops while working, even more so while doing tanker since you gotta climb up to the dome.

so what is the deal now? do they get you trained, and then force you to go lease as they are no longer hiring company drivers? how is that supposed to work, when it takes much longer for a driver to be fully experienced OTR? are they shrinking the fleet as i seen a video stating that was what they were doing.?
Rex, he will learn much quicker if he had to climb to the top to check the number--just sayin.
Is that a MaxxForce engine in your truck they have a really bad reputation of not being very reliable

Hey Rex what's good? I have question, how much training will i need if im switching from reefer division to tanker division?
what company would you recommend for someone who just got their cdl, i wanna do regional and not otr.
I'm only a flat bed driver

Are all your students straight to tanker division when there done with you or they go were they want ??
Some of my students come in for reefer “I’m referring to them coming through the prime CDL training program” the training manager will sometimes place them with me and my job is to help them “get their cdl” after that they go to whichever division chosen during their application like reefer, flatbed or tanker.

If you’re already have experience you wouldn’t have to do OTR training. Just orientation and a road test

@@stevenarocha5438 if you have your CDL with that experience prime will just do a driving evaluation if you pass “you’ll just do orientation no OTR training needed”
