- One of the #1 question I get all the time is "What broker do I use?" "Where did I find shares to short the stock on the day?". I made this video to thoroughly go over the best brokers for short selling, my main broker, the best brokers for small accounts looking to short sell, and even which brokers have the best locates for restricted shares, stocks that are on REG SHOW. - usually hard to locate stocks don’t squeeze much because not many people are shorting them leading to big wins as these stocks usually collapse
- his strategy, he just goes in and out once. He doesn’t recycle shares

Thanks Evan, very informative. Just one additional question: I want to expand the number of brokers I use from one to 3 or 4 iot have sufficient locates (or any at all) for some nice dilution plays. I contacted DAS and they replied that I need a separate instance of DAS-trader since all brokers can't be 'united' in one. This seems a lot of overhead....How do you go about placing the actual trades with several brokers?
i have different DAS accounts with each different broker that i need.

Quick question: With Cobra or Speedtrader can I just borrow say 5000 shares before market open and just take multiple trades, going in and out, throughout the day until I've used all 5000? Then after I used the 5000 I just have to go back in and locate them again if I want to enter and exit more positions? I was a little confused when you talked about not recycling shares and having to go back and locate them again? Thanks!
How's it going brother! I had this question as well and I talked to both SpeedTrader and Cobra about this. It appears both these brokers do now allow recycling on shares not RegSho. So you could purchase locates for 500 shares and trade 10000 shares in that stock shorting 500 shares and buying back 500 each time. No need to repurchase locates after doing one 500 share trade.
@@Disciple_Mike Isn't the last sentence of your reply the definition of recycling? Using the same batch of 500 over and over again?

Hello, Have you ever heard of Guardian Trading? I am looking to open a new account and was set on Cobra (was a long deciding battle between Cobra and Center point). However, recently found guardian trading and it seems like they may also be a good competitor for the best short availability. They use Velocity clearing house.

Nope. I use Cobra. He also mentioned they didn't in the video. Centerpoint apparently does allow recycling.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean about recycling shares? For example can I locate 5000 shares and trade with them throughout the day then if I run out just go locate more? Is that what recycling shares means? Thanks.
@@OpenHeartMinistry4 Recycle means use more than once. It's a total scam that now they want you to pay each time you reshort a stock. Some of these locates are ridiculously expensive. Now I have to pay more than once? I get stopped out on my first entry of the day and now I have to go to the hassle of rebuying the locate.
@@potodds_trading so if I locate 1000 shares, then take an entry and exit totaling 500 for that round trip, then take another enter and exit totaling 500 for that round trip, which equals 1000 for the day so far, then I need to go locate more shares if I want to take more positions, correct? That seems normal? I think I'm misunderstanding recycling or something.
This was immensley helpful. I didn't realize TradeZero was so expensive and not even that easy to find shares. I'll be opening another account for sure.
