TradeZero is good for some newbs, but anyone serious won't use it, 3 times as expensive over all.

Can anyone suggest a way to monitor chat room sentiment w/out actually watching chat room chatter? For short term/scalp trading only.

thankyou!! - use think or swim to go on demand to find where the vwap was the previous resistance of the high volume day of the stock and then also look at the hod - check previous resistance, check dilution, check market sentiment eg recently if longs banking and shorts getting squeezed, the longs will be more aggressive and the shorts more timid - after a stock that is up 100-300% , really overextended. When it starts to consolidate, it gets really long heavy, after the consolidation, it needs to choose a direction up or down. Most times when chatrooms are chasing, it's getting really retail heavy, it usually chooses to the down side. - people who want to get out of a position, might break the hod to get shorts covering, longs fomo buying. So once it breaks, watch the tape to see if there's severe selling pressure

thanks! - first day day after multiple green days that didn't go red. If it panic sells at open, look at the 10day chart for a support level that the stock can bounce at for a dipbuy

Thanks Evan, very informative. Just one additional question: I want to expand the number of brokers I use from one to 3 or 4 iot have sufficient locates (or any at all) for some nice dilution plays. I contacted DAS and they replied that I need a separate instance of DAS-trader since all brokers can't be 'united' in one. This seems a lot of overhead....How do you go about placing the actual trades with several brokers?

Hello, Have you ever heard of Guardian Trading? I am looking to open a new account and was set on Cobra (was a long deciding battle between Cobra and Center point). However, recently found guardian trading and it seems like they may also be a good competitor for the best short availability. They use Velocity clearing house.

Quick question: With Cobra or Speedtrader can I just borrow say 5000 shares before market open and just take multiple trades, going in and out, throughout the day until I've used all 5000? Then after I used the 5000 I just have to go back in and locate them again if I want to enter and exit more positions? I was a little confused when you talked about not recycling shares and having to go back and locate them again? Thanks!
