You seem like a great teacher. The way you speak these words makes them and the whole topic sound quite interesting. Thanks for making this very easy to understand and informative presentation.
I was diagnosed with serval palsy when I was in my mom's womb I had three therapies when I was in school they were speech K-2, OT K-10, and last PT Preschool - adulthood too. I do you stand with my legs apart; quite a bit for maintaining balance. I also do use a walker to get around and I also have a service dog.
I've always wondered if I have Spastic or Ataxic Cerebral Palsy. My CP is VERY mild. My case was used as a study case during the 80's in Canada. Still there's much about my own disability I don't know...
Love, Rosie I have the exact same issues. very mild, don't know exactly what kind. Lately I've had issues with random "twitches" in my arms when focusing on random things, or trying to think ahead. it also affects my eyes and makes me kind of nauseous. There is no real help for adults with cp unfortunately.
Superspicydonutgirl This is true! There's no real help for adults with CP. I have arthritis in my left foot as a result of my CP and bone spurs in my neck bc of the same type of issues. None of this is treated with the CP in mind. Thankfully, I do see a chiropractor weekly who relieves my pain and realigns my spine. I do hope your twitching issues gradually disappears! Such a difficult thing to deal with.
Same. Keep active, guys. Walk, swim, go to a gym, buy an exercise bike. People with CP need to be treated well like Olympic athletes in terms of physical exercise., My parents don’t have CP and since they don’t exercise, old age has caught up with them. I’m the one who climbs the stairs, goes for walks, rides the bike. It’s so important!
really good but i feel you dumb it down to much, especially if your target audience is medical students maybe use the actual medical terms for the muscles eg adductors, abductors
