Pujara taking body blow made sure that india doesn't lose test match also this series win is very special because 8 out of 11 regular top indian players didn't played series due to injuries and our young blood won series against Australian at their backyard fort of gabba was conquered after 3 decades.
Its not easy to appreciate this win if you are a new fan. But I remember a time (sachin, dada etc) when we were expected to lose to australia even at home. Most teams were. Then there was a time (Dhoni, yuvi etc) when we became a team who won matches and not just hearts. It became difficult to challenge India at home. We could beat them but Australia in Australia was still the kind of challenge that was considered insurmountable at times. As Kohli said, "when you go to aus, you dont just play against the 11 men, but the stadium, fans, media, pundits and perceptions." The kind of defiance that this team has shown is ridiculous. Went to Australia, things went badly, players injured, racist chants, relentless sledging and mind games. This team not only beat them, they beat a full strength aus at Gabba. Last time australia lost at gabba, Sachin had not even made his debut! Let that sink in.
Bro during dada's time India actually brought the border gavaskar trophy from that invincible Australia in Australia... And also won the home series.. it was actually under Dhoni that we plummeted to new lows being white washed everywhere.... And yeah Kohli brought that mojo back..
This win was special because Indian players are full of youngsters after most of the main player got injured playing against the toughest team with alll main players
This India's Victory of 2020-21 is really Outstanding. With more than half the team facing injuries, and still come up with this result (2-1) , its just Unreal and Majestic and that too with Young players. This series win will be remembered for very long time, specially Brisbane Victory which was like a Castle to Aussies for nearly 33 Yrs.... Kudos to Ajinkya and this Marvellous Team !!!
The opposition captain tim paine sledged rishabh pant saying, "will you baby sit my kids, cuz you're not gonna play the next game" and here rishabh have a befitting reply. That's why the bharat army was singing this song and saying he'll baby sit your kid.
The real joy and nerves of this test match comes into picture when you have a teat cricket knowledge: final day, final session, pitch starts cracking, ball hitting the cracks, ball gets old, ball swings reverse, many more.. Man, this is one hell of a ride...
Shubhman Gill jus 21 years old , facing aussies in australia, playing his 4th or 5th International match, unbelievable knock of 91 , missed his century, tho deserved it, but these 91 runs were equal to a 200 for him n the team. (he was playing his debut series n team needed these runs to win the BG Trophy)

I just love you guys and your reactions and the reaction for the song and the song itself was amazing what a test season it has been a win for cricket with lots of luv from India 👍
India had almost their entire 1st team and major parts of 2nd team injured, they had been thumpingly defeated in the first match and Kohli had to leave after it, the almost entire new squad stood up to the task and defeated Australia on Australian soil especially at Gabba after 32 years, where every single player contributed. This is the finest Test match win in Indian cricketing history, because it was their least expected win as per their critics and their most deserved one as per their fans. What a series. What a day. What a win.
Check these two American guys who really did watch the entire series and understand what it meant to win in Australia. You are absolutely gonna love their review and in depth understanding of test cricket. ua-cam.com/video/jiTqKX9RIHU/v-deo.html
The way Cheteshwar Pujara faced those bouncers was absolutely heroic. He faced 211 balls for 56 runs and tired the Aussie bowlers. He became the wall 2.0.
If the batsman is holding the bat and the ball hits his glove, yes it's an extension of bat and he will be given out if caught. If the hand is off the bat and then the ball hits the glove, it will be not out.
Honestly, This was an incredibly, unbelievable match, This victory came when the Indian team didn't have any stars, it played with its bench strength, that is the reserve set of players.
4:34 Yeah Rick, the glove holding the bat is considered to be an extension of the bat. If the ball touches it and goes into the hands of a fielder, then the batsman is out.
One other thing is that India were humiliated in the first test, getting all out for 36. They then turned it around in an unbelievable manner to win the series 2-1. Additionally, Kohli, our best batsman was unavailable after the first game. About 10-12 players were injured. Our playing XI from the first and last test had just two people common. The bowling attack fielded in the last game had 10-13 wickets between them. To put things into perspective, Australia’s attack have a combined 1000+ wickets!
Not just a series victory... Not just a first victory at this ground after so long... Not just beating Australia in their home ground which has never happened... But doing it while ALL of your senior players were injured... The way you see Australian bowlers hit the batsmen on the body with that frequency is not common at all and they have already injured and ruled out 8 PLAYERS.... that is almost another team!!!!

Thank you brothers for sharing your happiness with us by reacting to our Indian historic and epic victory in Australian soil, this Rishab Pant song came in 2018-19 when India was touring Australia last time under Kohli captaincy and even that time we did beat the Aussie Kangaroo's 2-1 in their turf. This young man Rishab Pant is just a natuarl talent who is known for his big hitting , who can win you the game or the match single-handed and who is just 23 years & 109 days who was born on October 4, 1997, Haridwar, Uttarakhand and these are the teams that he played so far till date...!! Always you can see a smile on his face but he's a chatter box, who doesn't closes his mouth on & off the field, but an awesome and fun loving human. India, Delhi, Delhi Capitals, Delhi Daredevils, Delhi Under-19s, India A, India Red, India Under-19s, Indian Board President's XI, North Zone. This Test Series between India vs Australia had 3 - 4 deubtants in Indian Team for all the 4 matches that we played, who were playing the 1st test match and Aussies line-up were fully stacked with experience. But still we managed to rip them off...
Yes @Rick.. The glove is considered as an extention of the bat (provided the glove is in contact with the bat).. yes @Korbin the ball has been hit out of the park/stadiums many times..
Two of the greatest victories against Australia. One in India about 18 years back when we won after a follow on. Then hero was VVS Laxman. This time around arrogant Aussies where beaten in Australia and that too in Brisbane. When the day began on the 5th day, I was hopeful of a draw. That we managed to beat them by scoring 300+ runs and that too against one of the best bowling side is mind boggling.
Most of main batsmen and bowlers were not playing the match from India because some players were injured and some were playing their first match but Australia was playing with their best team .This makes the win even more important for Indian cricket supporters.
Excerpt from an article on why this win was important - "I don't think you understand what really happened today. Yes, India did win. India did win in Australia, India did win it with half their team in bandages, but it's a lot bigger than that. The true beauty of sports lies in its mysteries. As humans, we want David to beat Goliath. It took India almost their entire cricket history, till they finally beat Australia Down Under in 2018. But then the men in Baggy Green were without Smith and Warner. This time the Aussies brought all their arsenal. They pummelled, punched, bowled out India for a shocking 36 in Adelaide. How do you recover mentally, physically, psychologically from that? Oh and your captain is unavailable for the remainder of the series. And that is why this series is probably so much more special for India than any before. There is a man who in the Sydney game was racially abused by a small section of the crowd - Mohammed Siraj. Four years back when he was selected for the IPL, he had only one dream - to never let his father drive an auto again. Last month, while he was still waiting to play is first test in Australia, his father died. Siraj could not go back for the funeral. For the last few months, Siraj has been holding his father's illness, the abuse, the heckling, the insecurities regarding a youngster's selection all together. Yesterday he burst and picked five wickets in the second innings setting up the game for India. When he kissed the ground and the tears flowed, we should have known we were up for something special. There is a man who has been criticized, heckled, trolled, made fun of in social media, by experts, almost everyone for almost one and a half years now. He scored a brilliant 97 in Sydney and almost got India to victory that day. But 'almost' is not remembered in history. Today, he scored an unbeaten 89 and took India to arguably one of their greatest wins. Rishabh Pant. There is a man who has been hit on the body a thousand times throughout the series, and when he goes into the shower tonight, there will be bruises, cuts and lumps on his arms, chest, thighs and more. He might not be celebrated half as much as Kohli, Sharma, or even Gill or Pant; he does not appear charismatic enough to lead India or be a poster boy for ads and sponsors, but when he does hang up his boots eventually, his contribution to Indian cricket would be right at the top. Cheteshwar Pujara. There is a boy who is just 21 years old and probably doesn't realize that it's not okay to hit 91 in the fourth innings in Gabba against the likes of Cummins, Hazelwood and Starc. Sacrilege, Shubhman Gill, sacrilege. Why does youth know no fear. Why is youth so expressive, so uninhibited. There is a man who has captained India in the absence of Kohli, showed none of the verbal aggression that the latter does, but is every bit as passionate. He appears calm, but fought his way through a hundred demons, detractors, set up the win in Sydney and marshalled whatever players were left, superbly. Rahane. There are two men playing their first test matches and scoring half centuries in the lower half of the Indian batting order and then picking up wickets, as if they were playing school matches, not test cricket. Washington Sundar and Shardul Thakur. Who wrote your script, boys. It is not just that India won. India did not have 11 of their main players and yet the team fought, soldiered, counter punched, resisted, took blows, and never gave up. India did not win the series because of beautiful strokes. India won it because of an incredible amount of bloody mindedness in their heads and pluck in their hearts. India, as a country, as a culture, we have this habit of celebrating individual heroes, making superstars out of them. We rely and love individual brilliance. Today, it wasn't one hero, it was an entire team that gave us this victory. Team India. What Washington, Shardul, Gill, Natarajan have done is give hope to thousands of boys in India today that some day even they can play for India. Some years back, an eleven year old boy came to Mumbai, lived in a small tent on the roadside, sold tea to survive and played cricket in the gullies. Yesterday he smoked Sreesanth for two sixes right after the bowler bowled a bouncer and gave him a death stare. His name? Yashasvi Jaiswal. He is now 19 years old, was India Under 19s best batsman in the world cup and signed a 2 crore deal with Rajsthan Royals in the IPL. What Siraj, Yashasvi have done is is give hope to thousands of poor kids that it is possible to dream. What India did today is far more than just a game. It's what sports is all about - fighting, being fair, dreaming, surviving, and inspiring. In true Bollywood style, it took the entire two months, the last session of the last day of the last test match, to deliver a verdict. And even then for most parts of the day, we were never really sure whether India would lose, win or draw the game. All this in a stadium where Australia hasn't lost for 32 years. For the whole day, I was frantic, nervous, tense, till Pant hit that winning four. Watching him carry the Indian flag around the ground, watching Rahane ruffle his hair and laugh, is what sports is all about no?"

As Kohli said, "when you go to aus, you dont just play against the 11 men, but the stadium, fans, media, pundits and perceptions."
The kind of defiance that this team has shown is ridiculous.
Tim paine: see you in gabba mate
India: gabba is your gravyard!
Dammnn!!! I cried when India won ghis match ❤🔥

This win was special because Indian players are full of youngsters after most of the main player got injured playing against the toughest team with alll main players
Entire cricketing world was pumped .. this match got the coverage all around the world..
Absolutely true
In Sharjah stadium, UAE in this last IPL MS Dhoni hit the ball out of the stadium. It went on the road and some man picked it up and ran away 😂
Huh 😂 and they were saying that Kohli's absence would affect them😎😎
This India's Victory of 2020-21 is really Outstanding.
Thats what she said, “there it is, i ve found it” 😂
This was an extremely legendary moment for all Indians
The real joy and nerves of this test match comes into picture when you have a teat cricket knowledge: final day, final session, pitch starts cracking, ball hitting the cracks, ball gets old, ball swings reverse, many more.. Man, this is one hell of a ride...
The Greatest Test series win for India ❤ COURAGE! CONFIDENCE! PATIENCE AND FIGHTS!

I was jumping in my living room at 12 am in night as my wife and daughter were sleeping and couldn't shout.
But why at 12 am the match ends at 12 pm

Will never forget it. Historical victory, India pulled off a stunner!
Love your reactions. As always, looking forward to the next one. Much love, from Australia!
I just love you guys and your reactions and the reaction for the song and the song itself was amazing what a test season it has been a win for cricket with lots of luv from India 👍
The moral is never underestimate anyone
Australians ego broken to thousand pieces.
It's a petfect revenge by india to Australia when Australia captain said come to gabba.
What a day. What a win.

yes , the glove is an extension of the bat. so if the ball hits their glove and then is caught by someone , it is considered to be out..
This was a series of great Indian Resilience
YES, the Gloves are considered as extension of the bat in Cricket.
Getting emotional even at highlights

The way Cheteshwar Pujara faced those bouncers was absolutely heroic. He faced 211 balls for 56 runs and tired the Aussie bowlers. He became the wall 2.0.

Glove is extension of bat yes as its directly being used as an aid to score runs
hats off to those people who requested u to react on this...an historical series win❤️ ... also Rishab pant song😂
Every time I see this highlight, I feel equally excited
If the batsman is holding the bat and the ball hits his glove, yes it's an extension of bat and he will be given out if caught.
If the hand is off the bat and then the ball hits the glove, it will be not out.
YES, RICK, glove is an extension of the bat and catches off it counts
I loved the way video started... 😂 😂 🤣

Are u guys react this too? You are going to react the best thing happened in this year!

It was not just a match for us... It's our emotion 💚💚💚
Yes @Rick.. The glove is considered as an extention of the bat (provided the glove is in contact with the bat)..
yes @Korbin the ball has been hit out of the park/stadiums many times..
This match was beyond words
Two of the greatest victories against Australia. One in India about 18 years back when we won after a follow on. Then hero was VVS Laxman. This time around arrogant Aussies where beaten in Australia and that too in Brisbane. When the day began on the 5th day, I was hopeful of a draw. That we managed to beat them by scoring 300+ runs and that too against one of the best bowling side is mind boggling.
You guys seriosuly need to react to some bam bam hitting from the IPl especially Chris Gayle and AB DE VILLIERS!
Korbin: Has anybody hit it out of the park?
Chris Gayle: Hold my beer 🍺
India ❤️🔥🔥🔥

Excerpt from an article on why this win was important -
"I don't think you understand what really happened today.

So proud to be part of my OSR! Thanks for being with us in all times
After 1988 Australia has not lost any Test at Gabba Stadium in Brisbane so its was difficult and made it more difficult was all expierenced players were injured Ashwin , Bumrah , Shami , Jadeja , Ishant sharma , Bhuneswar Kumar ,
kl Rahul Umesh yadav , navdeep sani , so half the side were injured and in playing 11 was mostly new guys with no experience playing in Australia but they did it very well so this makes it great win for India and also India became first team to breached Gabba after 1988 its been 32 years since visiting team won at Gabba ! and its India !!!! who did this magic
It's highlights. Making runs is not easy as looks on highlights. Pujara takes 211 balls to make 56 runs😅

This series and this win for India is really special because they did it with an inexperienced team, in the toughest conditions against the toughest opposition and crowd, (some spectators hurled racial abuse at Indian players too), Hats off to their young guns for showing grit and determination.

There is an old English series called "bodyline". It shows the rivalry between England and Australia in the ashes series (I think). Hugo weaving stars in it.
